It's a shame because this car wash is usually great so I don't know if I caught them on an off day or what. Paid for the 39.99 wash and it appeared that they did a good job initially. They came over to tell me it was done and as i walked over to my car I noticed there was still remnants of bird poop on my back window. I thought to myself aww man, when it went through the wash it didn't get everything off. Got into my car and the bug that I killed on the inside of my windshield a day ago was still there big as day in my face. There was also finger prints on the inside of my windshield. The instructions at the beginning of the car wash instructed drivers to place any trash on the floor so they could throw it out. I looked in the back seat and all the water bottles I placed on the floor-as instructed- were placed on my back seat. I also didn't get the car freshener that came with the package. I got out to ask for assistance and all the workers were already back inside. So I grabbed one of the towels and spray bottles and finished the job myself. Pretty frustrating paying $40 and still having to clean your car. Like I mentioned, they used to be my go to car wash but this was pretty disappointing. read more

Came here a few days ago on a whim for a wash. First (and last time) at this location. Paid for the "Super Poly Process" which was supposed to come with a fragrance but no one asked or offered any choices to me. Apparently this is standard - I've been to another location and had the same experience. Family who go to another location and also purchase that wash have also never had it offered. Wash was standard. The guys did not do a good job wiping the windows as they were really streaked when they were done (also, apparently, standard for Autobell). Left the location and got on the highway. There was some traffic so it took some time before my speed got up to 65-70 but when it did I noticed that my hood was bouncing - a very dangerous situation. Apparently, the guys who wiped down and vacuumed my car popped the hood while they were trying to figure out how to pop the back hatch...and never closed the hood. The situation could have been deadly and/or caused severe damage to my car. Furious, I tried to call the location while I was still on the highway. The call was routed to a call center/headquarters where the gentleman took some brief information and said that he would have the store manager call. The next day, I received a call from him. Wow, was I less than impressed. He seemed to fail to comprehend the seriousness of what could have happened, instead focusing on "but there was no damage, right?" Right. Had to quickly pull over to the side of the highway during rush hour traffic that's moving at 65-70 mph to correct a deficiency caused by your team. Yes, no big deal. Someone could have been injured or killed, or there could have been serious damage but you're right...no big deal. Dude had a serious lack of contrition. Truly, he seemed more concerned about the streaked windows and offered for me to come back and have the car washed again, on him. Not a chance. I won't be returning to this, or any other Autobell in the future. Additionally, check your records Autobell...each year for probably the past ten years I have bought literally hundreds of dollars of washes to give out as gifts. That has ended. Update 2: came back today, and I wanted to focus on an employee named Isaiah. While I was waiting, I walked over to the bathroom door and found it locked, and walked back In to the waiting room. He went out of his way to come get me and show me that there was a second bathroom that I missed. This may not sound like a big thing to some, but most employees would have kept doing what they were doing and let me figure it out on my own. Going to give 2 stars because the two kids working were nice. But their interior clean, Which was their only job besides taking my money, was terrible. I still have all types of dirt and debris in my car. If I hadn't been in a rush to leave for another appointment I would've had them redo it. Their automatic machine cleaned the outside well. Just don't get the interior done here. read more

I stopped by Autobell for the first time yesterday and I was very happy and impressed. They checked me on quickly and the young I man who did so (Dylan, I think) was friendly and polite. He didn't rush me as I prepared my car for interior cleaning. I rode in the car through the machine wash, which seemed to do a good job, then waited in the facility's lobby while the team vacuumed and cleaned the interior of my vehicle. This is the part that really impressed me -- the Autobell employees worked on my car for a good while. Every surface was wiped clean. I found no stray coffee splashes or crumbs at all when I retrieved my car and drove away. I paid $26 for the mid-level car treatment (inside and out, with wax applied and hubcaps cleaned). It seemed like a good value to me. My car is shiny and beautiful now. read more

Brought my car in for a long overdue bath. Leanne (probably misspelled, but hopefully not) took care of the scrub down and made it look like new!! She had pride in her workmanship and carefully cleaned it like it were her own. Thanks and I will be visiting more often!!! read more

I was a regular at this car wash until the upgrade changed to auto bell . I was offered a coupon while they where under construction only to have it not be accepted when I returned for my first wash. Then I paid for the best wash they had to offer only to receive a piss poor job of a car wash hazy windows that where still wet. I had to remind the guy to do my tire shine and to actually clean my interior only to be offered another courtesy coupon . This really sucks because prior to the fancy change I loved this place but not so much anymore sadly. 4/19/2017 Update I can say even though I am not the type of customer that writes reviews simply to gain something free or perks. It's always a GOOD thing when a company goes above & beyond to correct a mistake. I have come here several times and I always get a great car wash. They are never too crowded and I can normally get in and out in less than 25 minutes. They take their time making sure that the car is very well cleaned inside and out. read more

I haven't had a bad experience at Autobel at this location. The hand dry part at the end of the wash is a great touch. I always ask the folks drying my car to wipe the aftermarket wheels as they gather brake dust and they always do a decent job. read more

Wish I could give - star. They rip you off. I should of gone by other reviewers. They asked for $33 and vacuumed in 1 min (had to ask to vacuum corners again), and rinsed the outside 1 min. I never had this experience in my life when someone asked for your time and money and car looks the same. Shame on you. Definitely not going back there again. read more

Let me start off by saying I used to have great experiences coming to this establishment. I would refer my family and friends until recently those people would tell me "why did you send me there? It was horrible." I could not understand why they kept saying this until I went on Tuesday afternoon. I was the only car there so I drove up and walked over to the register and requested the Manager's Special ($34.99). My car went through the car wash as normal. Once it came through 2 gentleman began "cleaning" the inside of my car. They were done in about 10 minutes, it usually takes them 15-20 min so that was odd to me. When they told me my car was ready I got in and quickly got out. As soon as i sat down I saw that not much was done. The dash was still dusty, the cup holder area still had crumbs, the door was still dirty, there was still crumbs on the ground, i looked in the backseat and there was still residue on the seats from juice and dog slob which was the main reason I took the car in the 1st place. I have black leather seats so it was easy to spot. I asked one of the gentlemen who "cleaned" the inside for the manager and he advised he was 1 of the managers. I told him i was not pleased with the service and needed a refund. I showed him all the issues and he said "oh, i can clean that now." No, you should have cleaned it when you were in there. He kept trying to give me free carwashes but all I wanted was a refund. Why would I go back for you to do another horrible job. I'm not even from the area, I specifically drive 40 min to this establishment because I USED to like the service. I kept asking for a refund but the young man would not give me one. He kept trying to force his way back into my car to clean what he should have in the 1st place, he kept trying to hand me coupons for a carwash. I asked to speak with the store manager. He disappeared for about 5 min to call the store manager. When he finally came back out of the office he said "it's virtually impossible to do a refund because the card has already been scanned." That sounds like a lie to me because what establishment does not provide refunds for unsatisfied customers. So needless to say I left with $34.99 out of my pocket and a dirty car. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! A waste of money and time! read more

Came in yesterday to get a carwash, Spent $15 on an exterior wash and topped $5. After looking at when I got home I had huge sections that weren't even touched, and the rims were completely filthy. I could have gone to a gas station carwash and received a better job for half the cost. read more

I was in town visiting and decided to run my car thru a car wash. The kid guiding me into the wash pointed for me to go one direction which I did and then pointed the other direction so I did that. I went thru car wash and then they had me get out to do the interior. After a few minutes one of the kids working there brought me to my car to show damage and he said the wash did the damage and immediately notified the manager to do a claim. While he was filling out the claim I saw paint damage on the hood of my car that had not been there previous to the car wash. He told me that someone would be in touch. I had to call corporate to get someone to call me and was told by the manager the one time he called me back that the damage was my fault. ARE YOUN KIDDING ME? It has been three weeks and no one will answer my calls and no one will call me back. Only go to this car wash if you want to have your car damaged and them take zero responsibility!! read more

I took my BMW X3 to the Autobell in Annapolis and the wash pulled my entire front license plate assembly off of the Front Bumper. The sharp screws then left 2 gouges in the plastic as well as scratched the paint around the front grill. The manager Tyler? is refusing to take responsibility for the damage stating it's "Normal Wear & Tear". Are you kidding me, your equipment somehow snagged my license plate assembly how is that in any way Normal? I suggest you stay away Autobell car wash if you want to have any confidence that they will accept accountability for what should be their responsibility. read more

Earlier this week I discovered I would be driving clients when my usual passenger is my hairy Australian Shepherd. Agree with the other reviewers that the Managers Special here is awesome. The other car washes in Annapolis charge more than double for interior cleaning, if they do it at all. For $35 at Autobell, my car came out looking like it had been detailed. read more

Our first trip here was great, the second trip no so good got the 32 dollar wash they forgot the ir freshener, forgot to do the mats, and left stuff on the windows and front end. The third trip what a disaster, the wash was half assed, they didn't do the air freshener, they pulled the mats out and lost the locking tabs, blamed us and then said we did not have the tabs, the tire shine was sloped on and they guy switched hands and left tire shine hand prints on the car, the interior windows the guy tried to spray window cleaner from the drivers set in out traverse and soaked the rear seats with window cleaner, did the mats and left soapy water on them soaking our floors, got crappy with us, left the windows filthy, left the lower rocker panels filthy, left the front end and rear liftgate filthy, and we ended up wiping the car down ourselves, asked the on duty so called manager when the owner or GM would be in got a "uummmm he's in North Carolina", asked for his number got "uumm it's on the internet" hey dumazz how about giving me the number, called the orporate office got lots of excuses and took 3 days for some one to call back. The GM offers us a free wash, not we will replace your locking tabs which were $10.00 to replace, a free wash and lots of excuses about how that is not how they are, that is not like his manager, they have high ratings and do a good job, they are sorry, stop in tell them you spoke to me and we will take care of you with a free wash.
