I hadn't been to this car wash in a very long time, but my car was extremely dirty and I decided to treat myself. At $30 for an inside-and-out wash, I expected the service to be amazing. Unfortunately, it was far from it. After the wash, I had to send my car back because they missed vacuuming nearly half of the interior. The mats weren't washed at all and were still dirty, and there was no interior wipe-down like they used to do in the past. The waiting room is now very plain and empty, which matched the overall experience. Sadly, I feel like I paid a premium price for subpar service and would not recommend this location. I would not recommend you take your car to Mister Car Wash Annapolis. They damaged 3 of my rims on a recent visit. Their conveyor system has either worn parts or improperly aligned. I take meticulous car of my car and know the damage was caused by them. I submitted my claim right away and it was almost immediately denied. Their is no way a camera can detect if something malfunctioned pertaining to the conveyor system. A reputable business would have acknowledged responsibility and kept a loyal customer. After reading others reviews, it appears it is a common thing for them to cause damage and not take responsibility. The manager Steve was condescending when I received the call that my claim was denied. I will also be submitting a complaint to the BBB and have already cancelled my membership. read more

Mister car wash is a rip-off. Paid $42 for inside and outside wash. They wanted to charge an additional $2 per car mat per row. They didn't even wipe down the inside of the car. Lesson learned! They will never get another dime of my money. read more

Horrible NEVER GO TO CHESAPEAKE CARWASH on Defense Hwy Annapolis I just got home from having my car washed for $40 plus tip. They cracked my windshield and when I told the woman at the desk they all disappeared!! I waited for someone to come to look or tell me what to do when the owner comes walking out with his golf shoes. I asked if he was the owner He said yes and when I asked about the windshield he said we don't cover that see the signs all over the place? I was a bit upset it's an 18 in crack He told me to leave threatened to call the police thru me out as he was leaving and called me a Ho and he could see why I wasn't married. you're crazy if you go there. Car wash on Rt 2 Parole does a much better job!!! I went to this car wash a long time ago and didn't like it I couldn't remember why...I really wish I hadn't. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH! First of all it's a glorified drive through, save $25 and use any brushless drive through car wash at a gas station. it will be the same quality. They scratched my wheel and would not cover the damage. while doing the claim he was grooming me the entire time, saying things like "those look aftermarket, we don't cover damage to aftermarket parts". Poorest quality $15 car wash ever. Most of the extras like tire shine don't really work...you may have like one shiny spot on a tire. They're supposed to spray the car off and run a brush across exterior before it goes into the machine wash, but that probably won't happen. It didn't for us and the roof looks totally uncleaned. There's a better cash wash just down the road in Edgewater. I suggest you drive on to that one. read more

While Mister Car Wash in Annapolis provides a fair at best car wash, be forewarned- if they damage your car in anyway, they deny, deny, deny they are responsible. If you make a claim they will do everything they can to deny liability and leave you out to dry. I recently had my car damaged by their equipment and the repair bill was $1,200. I was told basically I was a liar and I was on my own. I have been a loyal client of theirs for over 5 years with multiple cars. They will reply to this post with their typical boilerplate language of concern and they will look into it. Hogwash! Their cameras didn't prove their position to deny my claim. The reality here is, like all of their customers, I am an honest, hardworking person who knows 100% my car was damaged during one of my multiple visits recently and they told me sorry, you can't prove we did it or we proved we didn't damage your car and now I'm out $1,200. This is not how a reputable business treats loyal and honest customers. I cancelled all of my memberships immediately and I will never again do business with them because when something goes wrong, they are not there to help you out and you're treated disrespectfully and made to feel one is dishonest. read more

TERRIBLE INTERIOR JOB. I moved from out of state and just tried this new location. I was not aware that you are not allowed to vacuum your own car. They actually charge you an additional $10 to give you a mediocre vacuum and wipe down job. That's on top of your membership or whatever you paid for the car wash. I thought that was insane but I assumed they would do a good job. They didn't. There was still dog hair and dirt on my floorboards. My backseats weren't wiped down. I am not sure why this location has such low ratings. I've been searching for a car wash with extended hours as a lot of local agencies do not stay open past mm, about 5pm. Upon arrival I knew my car was a mess. Halloween weekend passed and *no judgment*I had a car full of cat litter... and I am not a cat owner. *awkward stareoff* ANYWHO, I arrived for the first time and was greeted by an associate that was very informative on pricing, memberships, and even communicating to the wash/dry/vacuum team what my concerns were. About 15 minutes later my car was ready, very clean. Because it WAS cat litter in my car, it was tough on the employees to get everything. Upon my second request for another vacuum, it was accepted and taken seriously. Within 2 minutes I was back in my clean, interior and exterior, car and was on my way back to work. Two Stars ONLY because the young men who vacuumed my car and the others who wiped down the car after the wash were pleasant and respectful. I waited over 5 minutes behind one car to place my wash order. The customer who obviously needed a lot of help. It took two staff people to help her. Meanwhile three other cars advanced through their "Members" lane. I selected the Platinum was because I wanted the interior vacuumed and cleaned. It was $42. Everything on the menu costs extra. The staff person asked if I wanted my rubber mats power washed but said it would be an additional $5 per row. I have three rows of seats in my vehicle, so I declined. However, after I drove away and the sunlight hit my windshield, I could see a filmy layer of dirt across the windshield where the wipers don't reach and the corners of my windows behind the sideview mirrors were still dirty. I don't feel I got my money's worth. Low value of clean for the price. read more

I wanted to wait a while prior to providing my review to see if the service was consistent. I've been a member for three months now and the service has been excellent. Mostly, I visit the Annapolis location but I've been to Millersville a few times too. The staff is mostly young adults but their customer service is EXCELLENT. They always greet me with a smile and are very personable and respectful. If I had to compare the customer service, it would be on the level with Chick-Fil-A. The care they provide with maintaining the appearance of my vehicle is outstanding. I really only have two manor complaints: Please stop moving my driver's seat and upgrade your air freshers. It's a pain when I get into my vehicle and the seat is moved far back and way too low. Also, the fragrances might last 1/2 hour and then it's gone, and I've tried all of them. You might want to try a different product. I'm very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this company. read more

Mister Car wash will not touch the outside of your vehicle unless you get the inside cleaned. Management has the staff stand around and watch you wipe down your own vehicle. Got the best wash with interior. Looking at my vehicle the rear section under the window was not clean and the interior has some white smears around the door, side of seat and a lot on the panel by the floor. I pointed these out to the finishing personnel. He cleared off the smears in the interior but the rear of the vehicle was not clean where the name of the vehicle is. Also there are still bugs on the windshield. I guess "Mister" is the amount of water they use! Last time I went there they had to run the vehicle through twice to get a clean vehicle. Never again.
