Well, I only go to Autobell about once or twice a year because I always seem to forget how bad of a job they do. Today reminded me that I don't need to pay $50 to have my car go through a car wash because I always end up having to do the interior myself anyway. Today is the last day I'll be going to Autobell in Denver, NC. I've overlooked the spotty and inconsistent quality in the past, but when I was literally lied to today, that is the last straw. The attendant spoke in great detail how the mats are removed from the car, power washed and scrubbed with a brush which is why I bought the respective wash. Well they did no such thing and refused to adjust the overall cost when I called them on it. Never again - here's your tip: DON'T LIE! read more

I've used Autobell since I was in College back in the late 60"s. A Friend named Charlie Bradshaw swore by them till he ran a Lincoln Continental Convertible through it and it shorted out the electrical system and made the top retract in mid carwash. Fortunately have never had that problem and have been a patron over the years. Normally I use the location in Mooresville but we moved from Cornelius to Denver back in July. There is a location in Denver and finally got a chance to try it this week. Pretty good and the car looks great. Inside could use some work For some reason, it is next to impossible to get the rear window clean on the inside. If they do try to clean it, it's a streaky mess. Used to think it was because I smoke but gave up smoking years ago and have never smoked in this car so no clue. Very good service and good results except for the rear window and except for this, would have had a higher star ranking read more

The attendant ushered me towards the car wash, lined me up, and said I was good to go. When he started the car wash, it made a very loud noise because my tire wasn't completely aligned. After we tried again, it was still the bumpiest ride. The inside detailing took all of 5 minutes and I can see why. I saw them vacuuming, but it doesn't look like they vacuumed ANYTHING. My car looks the same condition as when I arrived. My floor mats haven't been vacuumed, cup holders are still dirty, console is still dirty, and they didn't spray any air freshener in the car. I will NOT be coming here again - they were rushing the cleaning process to get back to texting on their phones. I guess I've learned my lesson, as I had to clean my own car when I got home. read more

This is the third time I have had issues at this location with the service. Paying around $40 for interior and exterior I would expect at least kid footprints to be removed from the inside doors and seats, especially with car seats removed. That is not what I got. Upon returning home and opening the back doors, I was appalled to fine not only the back was not fully vacuumed but I dirty footprint all over the back still. Upon further inspection in the front my glove box had dirty handprints on it. Now in the past I had driven right back to get this corrected. Due to lack of time this could not be done and at this point, another 30 mins of driving to have this rectified just was not worth my time. Went to auto bell in Denver today and my black rim on my 2024 Honda civic got curbed because the guy in the back didn't know how to guide me on to the pull. Told him I needed to back up and go in straight he said no no your good drivers side back rim wash stunt knew it when I felt it. Got out saw it and was told nothing in the carwash would cause that.No offer of anything but to file a report. And said they probably wouldn't pay for it. read more

Iam very dissatisfied and disappointed with the result of the cleaning today. I had to ask them to go back and vacuum areas that were not cleaned. My car still has bugs on it. the windshield and the front side windows were not cleaned very well at all. still very dirty. the guys did a good job of vacuuming but did not wipe the windows down on the whole inside. main reason I went there was for the interior, cleaning windows and vacuuming. i did notice that they had not wiped the back glass and asked them to do that but didn't realize only half the inside windshield wasn't done. I was not satisfied. I paid to have my car cleaned with what they offered at that price and it didn't happen. i didn't inspect my car until I got home or I would have talked to a manager then. read more

They ran my car through the wash and after 35 minutes of not a sole touching the vehicle which left water spots, I made rehash the vehicle. After another 15 minutes they did a so so job of drying and cleaning the vehicle. Total time on site 1-hour. Weekend management at this Autobell stinks. read more

I presented them with a challenge this morning. The first employee that greeted me was very honest and upfront about the condition of my truck. In the end they were able to accomplish a lot more than expected. I am Very pleased and they gave me recommendations about going to an auto body shop to replace my paint protector films. read more

Every time I come here they are slow and need more competent workers. They're not drying the cars in the order they are washed so i sat there way longer than I should have for just an outside wash. My car dried before they got to it which defeats the purpose of not getting spots on my white car! Also they left two towels in my car I didn't notice til I left read more

I've been to a Girl Scout fundraiser car wash that did a better job!!! I asked the attendant if he could remove the antenna, if not I would remove it. He told me twice he would. "Didn't happen"!!! Now a nice new scratch is on a new car because he failed to remove the antenna. There we multiple areas they missed on wipe down. I asked for them to rewipe the fenders and it was still a half ass job. For $25 you would think they would at least spray the fender wells out. Don't waist your money!!! read more

I gave them one star only because they are the only car wash in town. Apparently this car wash wants you to now sit in your car while it moves on a Trac through the car wash I was working and didn't have time to sit in my car and then wait for them to clean the interior and exterior. I asked them if I could drop off my truck and pick it up a few hours later. The two guys at the front told me I had to ride in the truck. I told them I didn't have time and told them I would give them a good tip. The one guy spoke up and said he'd do it and charge me five dollars. I'm thinking this car wash which is already over priced now wants you to sit in your own car while it drives on a conveyer system through their car wash but wants to charge me for an emloyee to ride in it fifty feet. I called their corporate headquarters who told me they should charge me three dollars not five. Even though six months ago cars were going through their car wash with no one behind the wheel because it's a Trac car wash that requires no driver. Ridiculous! read more

I have used this location for last time. My dash 8s covered in dust and they did a terrible job.on the vacuuming. This use to be a great place but for the last year it has gone way down hill. My windows still have my dogs snot on them. The owners of this place need to take a close look at way thing are being done. read more

The worst car wash ever. I purchased their top of the line wash, only to see employees thought that meant to dry off the windows, exterior and put a shine on the tires. They barely vacuumed, did not wipe down any surfaces and basically left one young girl to finish the job. I had to shout across the parking lot to get a manager. When he finally arrived after taking out the trash (could see I was not happy so he took his time), the manager started arguing with me about what their job was and was not. I brought him to one interior door and showed him visible dirt. I told him to watch, as I wiped it off with one pass of his towel. The side sills were filthy, where I had spilled a soda still stained the center console, dust all over the dashboard. They even forgot to vacuum the trunk (the manager's words). So, they took the car back to complete the job. When it was returned, it was cleaner but not at the standard that a $30 car wash should be. I did not get any fragrance, but instead they left me with a wet driver's seat. Seriously? This was the worst car wash I've ever had. About two years ago, I did some secret shopping and reviewed Autobell in another location. They had deficiencies, but nothing this egregious. They're lucky I wasn't doing a secret shop this evening. Instead, I'm warning others after this experience. Save your money and do it yourself or go to another independent car wash. I won't be back. read more

The service was spectacular, manager Chase took my vehicle and cleaned it more thoroughly than Jesus Christ himself could clean it. If I could give 10 stars I would. My car was all to hell, but Chase Worked his magic and gave my car the best wash it had ever had in its entire life. Chase is prompt and professional and you can tell that he is committed to service excellence, easily the best employee at autobell. All the employees were working like f*%#ing machines. I've used this car was several times but I think I'll choose someplace else. This is not a snap decision on my part the last two visits have shone me it's time to move on. When you pay &30.00 to have your car cleaned you expect it to be cleaned. The last time, before today, they ran the car through the wash with the drivers window down. I do take some responsibility as I should have made sure all windows were closed. Today was worse. The problem areas on most cars are the same. Hood rim hatch rim console cup holders wiping the interior off and vacuuming. Don't think these areas need to be requested they are part of a car wash. Several things were wrong today and the attendant had to be asked to complete the job. The biggest complaint I had was they didn't even attempt to vacuum the cargo area of my SUV. When I questioned this I was told I needed to request this area to be cleaned. Notgood Went back for a comp wash yesterday. More employs on duty and a much better job was done. I learned that they really will service your car until you are satisfied. That means a lot and it also means if your not happy with their service they will attempt to completely satisfy you. The Denver AutoBell is on top of their game! Cant tell you about what went on in 2016 or 2015 with all those unhappy people. I can just tell you how they treat my truck when I come there in the last 18 months. Even at the busiest times of the week, a Saturday mid morning for instance, they will service my truck as I asked for, and QUICKLY. Unlike other locations of this chain, they DO NOT let my truck sit for ten minutes after its been washed for someone to come finish it. It gets a person on it almost immediately when it comes out of the wash. They dry it off right. They clean the windows right. And that's all I ask for from my casrwash. I have never had a good car was here. Only reason I came back this time is because I had a free wash coupon that they gave me last time when they did a horrible job. I gave hem clear directions to lift up the 3rd row seats that were down and make sure they vacuumed the 3rd row floor. Guess what. Nope they didn't. These complaints about car washes are absolutely crazy to me. Your paying $20 to have your car washed, vacuumed, and quickly cleaned up. That's all. For just $20 this place does a good job. If you want your car actually cleaned you can have a mobile detail company come to your home but most of their packages start at $50 and go up to $200. They do an excellent job but they are professionals and professionals demand a premium rate. $20 is absolute pocket change when it comes to auto detailing. Took my new car and specified no Armorall on interior. Went out to pick up and Armorall was everywhere. Even on leather and wood which should never have it applied. They gave me a cheep ass coupon for a free plain wash but that didn't cut it. Crap was all over my speakers and woofer and that can never come off. Two hours later dash is as streaked as a zebra. Likely not to go back. I know it's a cheap wash but if I wanted that quality I would have my 11 year old do it. read more
