I took my new Toyota Rav4 to have it coated with ceramic paint protection to keep it looking sharp for years. Abel had the SUV for two days, and when I saw it, my reaction was wow! The shine and surface was like glass, I was very impressed and sitting in the sun is more impressive. This ceramic coating is not cheap, but considering I don't have to wax or worry about birds, bugs, UV and paint fade, it well worth the investment. My ride is worth it. I know this was a good body shop at one time but that is no longer the case. I have a 71 Mustang that he had for 6 months and when I got it back it had bubbles in the clear coat large scratch marks on the hood the spoiler was on backwards, driver door hinge spring was broken one head light is pointed at the ground and the other is just rattling around in the frame. the air intake filters were caked with sanding dust as was the entire engine compartment. the car as a whole was filthy. I had just had the trunk completely re-carpeted and it is ruined with over spray and will have to be replaced. The owner Able is never there and doesn't answer calls as well. I have just updated my review as follows as I brought another vehicle in. I bought a 2003 crew cab dually truck that has low miles however the outside had a variety of issues; a hole and tear in a rear fender, a lot of smaller dents in the rear overall and the right side of the pick up box was pulled out from improperly loading a camper. I was wowed when it was finished. Great workmanship and very fair pricing. My comment of great workmanship shouldn't be taken lightly. They do collector car restorations there and that they take pride in all sorts of repairs. My first review: I went in because my front bumper had a serious tear. Abel explained how they do it a bit differently than many other shops and since I plan on keeping the car for a while I was glad that they go the extra distance as to quality. Very impressed with their work. These guys also do automotive restoration so know how it should be done. They have a very high end paint set up which might be part of the reason that the results were so fabulous. However at the same time are able to do so while meeting insurance requirements. I also had them do something like a color sanding or special buffing of my entire car and my car hasn't looked this good in a long time. Here is where it gets yet better. Because the paint on our cars age and no longer looks like the original, these guys make paint samples on pieces of metal and then compare them to your car before they paint your car, so your painted area actually looks like it should. Like new and a perfect match. If your car matters, as mine does to me, then this is a place to check out. read more

Found AutoCraft on Yelp and went to their shop. Talked to Able the shop manager who was professional and very helpful. Inspected the damage to my car and gave me an estimate of $ and time which was very reasonable. AutoCraft must employ true "wizards" because my crumpled hood was restored like magic! Paint matched, no reflected dents... just like new. I might mention that their shop, which you can see from the lobby... was spotless. Fantastic bunch of professionals running this business. I just got my car back from Auto Craft and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. For starters, the quote I received was very reasonable and less then most shops I came across after getting a few estimates. They repaired my bumper and I also had them paint all 4 of my brake calipers. Everything came out great and I was very happy with the quality. My Audi TT had a lower front bumber damage since 2012. I never wanted to deal with getting fixed because I was not comfortable with the auto shops that I had spoke with over the years. My wife gave me the ultimatum to get it fixed! Abel had fixed a front side panel for our newer CRV, so I figured I would talk with him. I told him that I wanted an aftermarket bumper/grille and the front side panel fixed, which would require all to be repainted. I picked up the TT yesterday and I was extremely happy. Abel really was patient in my getting the aftermarket bumper & grille and finding the matching paint, which was originally a custom color. He and is amazing team didn't just get everything to fit, they made it NICE! It is hard to know if you are being "taken" when dealing with car issues. Not the case with Autocraft. Very fair price and amazing work. Very personable customer service. I wish I had an auto mechanic shop that operated like Abel and Autocraft. read more

I had my 1966 Nova restored by Auto Craft, and I have to say this shop was the worst experience I ever had! No quality control at all. The work done was so sloppy and poorly done I would never recommend this business to anyone. I came to pick up my car and it broke down on the the very same day within less than five miles of driving it that day! This happened to me three different times when Auto Craft said my car was ready to go and a perfectly sound running car. I give Auto Craft a very poor rating for workmanship, quality control and customer service. read more

I actually came across this business while looking for another auto body in the same area, and decided to go in and get an estimate. My Honda had some major damage along the driver doors, passenger doors and back bumper. It was not anything insurance was going to cover, it was out of pocket so I needed the best deal I could find. I got an estimate from the manager . He was nice and helpful. This company is new in Camarillo, and had no online reviews, so I decided to put my faith in them. Their estimate was considerably lower than some of the other auto shops in the area, and that was a major factor in my decision. It took them approximately 10 days to finish my car. THey updated me every few days on the progress on my car, along with pictures and video. I was very impressed with the end result. I did not think my car would look this good. AutoCraft is a reliable and honest company. I have been raving to my coworkers about them. I would not hesitate to come here again. Not many trustworthy businesses like this who care about their reputation and craftsmanship anymore. Best of luck to them, and hope they are successful in Camarillo. read more
