I brought my champagne baby here because I couldn't stand the embarrassing dents from a hit & run on my driver side door and Auto Body International is close by my work. They are located right behind the Cottage Animal Hospital on 5th Street. Auto Body International did an excellent job in repairing the dents and blending the color of the paint to the car's color. They even had the car shined nicely on the outside and vacuumed well on the inside. My car looks like a new champagne baby to me :) I would love to give it 5 stars but the job took a lot longer than I expected (dropped it off Monday and it was completely finished a week later) but they did apologize for that due to the paint drying. I asked around for recommendations, and my neighbors recommended Auto Body International, both on quality of work and price (based on at least two repairs). I checked Yelp as well, and saw the company had consistent five-star reviews, with raves for both price and service. I took my car in for an estimate, which turned out to be considerably lower than I expected. I set up the service and paid a deposit. Within a few days Auto Body International had the necessary parts and had them painted and ready to install. I took my car in and they had be back on the road in barely over an hour (including a full wash inside and out). I was very satisfied, and agree fully with all the five-star ratings. We first got an estimate from another Oxnard body shop - one that does a lot of advertising on TV - they said it would be $2500 to $4500. Then we went to Auto Body International, who quoted the very reasonable price of $1500 including parts, labor, and painting. They even asked me If i wanted a quote on repairing a few dings on the same side of the accident. I didn't like that so I decided to look around and give "Auto body International" a shot. Right from the first call, the experience with them was amazing. Julio told me he would take care the damage and a few more things around the body for FREE! When I got my truck back I was completely satisfied with the work they did. You can't even tell my truck had been in an accident. To be honest my truck looks even better than it did before the accident. They polished the whole truck, they touched up a few dings and dents. A friend of my mine went to four paint shops to get info and estimates for her Mazda Miata. She recommended ABI based on her research. When it was time for me to have minor body work and paint jobs on my cars I saved time and just went to ABI. They did a fantastic job on my teenagers Toyota Camry. I did not want to spend more than $1,000 to get the body work and touch up paint job. They did it for less than I was willing to pay and the car looks great.
