I was over due on on some of the maintenance my car needed and took it over to Clifford's as we have been seeing them for years. It is currently under new ownership and am happy to say it is the same great service I have always gotten. I initially brought my car in for a timing belt replacement and alignment. After bringing in my car they called and confirmed that the timing belt should be replaced and also let me know the alignment was good but may need to be serviced later on. I had asked if they would also do a fluid flush on my transmission as it hadn't been changed since it come from the dealership (~190,000 Miles) and was going to do it myself but decided I would leave it to the professionals since I was already taking my car in. My car is running like new again and couldn't be happier. As mentioned, I won't hesitate to return for any future service my car needs!

I received a call later on, that it in fact, it was the right rear caliper that had leaked or broke or whatever. This was to be free of charge to fix, great. Well not really, they took it upon themselves to "inspect" and take apart my front brakes and left rear brakes when not asked to do so. Quoting me a cost of $770 to replace rotors and pads on all. When I said I would rather not replace all of that at this point, I was told he wouldn't put it together and HE felt it needed to be done, pretty much FORCED work I did not want done to pad his pocket. Then the next day I receive a call that they had an "incidental" finding and had to replace yet another part, that of course was replaced with out calling me first. Now my bill is up to $1000.04. Really??? I am a single mom paying for my daughter's college, just replaced a furance, need to replace a sewage pipe, have numerous other expenses I am paying and a hefty mortgage on top of that. I was forced to replace all rotors and pads and a 2nd caliper when all I wanted was the right rear brake issue fixed. I feel he forced services I didn't ask for nor could afford to pad his pocket, not ok at all, leaves me paying other things late and not at all happy.... oh, and to top it off we go to pick it up and magically it would be $900.00 if I would pay in cash.... I did feel he felt he could take advantage of my being a female. VERY SHADY in my opinion.

Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin stated they would install the alternator for $150.00 and they could install on Thursday. My son agreed. My son, Sergio V. took his car in and handed the alternator to Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member. At that time Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member said they may not get to it until Monday but would call them if Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff finished sooner. When I called to inquire about it, he was trying to say that the technician didn't notice anything broken when that's 100% false because this glove box had not been opened since I purchased the vehicle and even if it was broken and then to not say anything about it, I think is ridiculous. 100% was not broken prior to having that cabin air filter serviced and slamming it shut and having it precariously hang until I'm driving and all of a sudden its falling because I see that the plastic tabs were broken which help it seat into the slots properly for closing as opining. So now it's a matter of driving over bumps whether it'll fall onto the floor or not because of this being damaged. Incredibly infuriating, so over the past year tried reaching out four different times and he tried telling me that the technician did not break it and essentially wasn't gonna do anything about it so I don't recommend going there. My glove box 100% wasn't broken prior to going there. Then slammed shut only held up by the latch at the top. When my glove box gets replaced this review will be updated. Google, trip advisor, yelp and other platforms are next if it's not replaced. Brand new this Glove box with black wooden trim is $350+ dollars. When this gets fixed, when/if I'll update accordingly. *2015 Ford Explorer Limited, Black interior with Black Wood Grain along interior. So when you get a replacement ordered the correct one is exact.

THIS IS COUNTUNED FROM MY OTHER REVIEW Then he pulled the car to the alignment rack. Someone else…read moreworked on the alignment for over one hour. While it was on the rack the manager told me that the front end alignment was going to be "free of charge" for me because of the hassle with the muffler system. The manager took it for a test ride an handed me the keys telling me that everything was in the green and I was good to go. Driving home I noticed that the car was pulling to the right big time. I got home and called back saying that something was not right. I also asked why I did not get a paper readout of the alignment. I also told him that I was about to take this vehicle on a 5000 mile road trip out west being pulled behind a motor home. He said that their printer was not working but then he said if I was worried about it to bring it back in. I WAS WORRIED. I took it back and I asked to see the screen when they set up the alignment before they do anything. Well he put it up on the rack and started to work on it before I could see the screen but I got there on my own. I could not believe what I saw. Not one category was in the green (meaning that the alignment wasn't worth anything). I took a picture (See picture). With no explanation, he started to work on it to alignment it. At one point he told me that it was as good as he could get it and only 2 out of 6 things were in the green. He said he could not set the camber because there was no adjustment for it. I told him that I just put camber bolts in place and he actually still argued with me that there were no camber bolts. Finally he looked again and magically he found them. He made the finale adjustment and tightened everything up and said it was the best he could do. Not all the read outs were acceptable in my eyes and I contacting an expert on alignment and he agreed with me. Driving home it still pulled big time to the right. At this point I called the district manager to tell him the problems I had. He told me to go get a front end alignment from a shop of my choice and he would pay for it. That is what I did and now my car drives straight as an arrow. Wisconsin Muffler did pay me for the alignment. If I would of pulled this car behind my RV like they had it probably would of destroyed my brand new tires if I did not get a additional alignment after the one I got at Wisconsin Muffler. This was a nightmare experience. If I was you, I would run from them. I will never use them again and I feel sorry for anyone that does.
