Called them, they looked up my account and had the new tire on order and my appointment set within minutes. 250 dollar tire, plus mount and balance for a 17 dollar tire insurance renewal. With my second set the tires I wanted were discontinuted. They notified me pretty early in the process and I was able to keep my original appointment time. The substitute were a bit more expensive but they extended a rebate to me to help offset the cost. I actually recommend these guys to anybody who needs a tire shop. They'll take care of you. ​

Drove down an hour to their location for a rotation and they refused to rotate the tires because the front tires had too much wear on the inside for their liking. That's literally the point of rotating your tires to try to maximize their life and get them to wear more evenly. The tires were well under the 70,000 mile mark and that was dismissed too as being "mechanical wear" so it wasn't covered. Duh. All tire wear is mechanical. So no tire rotation and no warranty coverage. I've bought several sets of tires here and always had a good experience until I actually needed some service, then I just got a smiley refusal. Done with Discount Tire. Might as well just buy the cheapest price from any installer if there's no service after the sale.

It was at a complete 0 psi but my tire was not flat at all. I decided to stop in at Mr P's and after waiting for a little bit. They did a full inspection on the tire and told me that the rim actually had cracks on it. The cracks could've possibly been from potholes, curbs, etc. What I liked about that interaction is that they were completely honest with me. They even recommended a nearby shop that was able to weld the rim together. I was extremely satisfied with the service.

A week later they were still very nice to me after wasting their time even though I didn't have my repairs done with them, weird coincidence and worlds colliding. Beware of this place. They are EXTREMELY expensive and they have lost my trust. I brought my car…read morein and was told it needed over $1400 of repairs for an air flow sensor issue along with one more repair. Previous to this- about 5 months before they had already repaired the sensor. Of course they told me it is another issue (not the same repair). Their diagnostic fee is very expensive as well at $225 just to take 5 minutes to plug in a machine to see the codes to what is wrong. I took my car to get a second opinion and they were able to repair my car for $800 less!!! Also they noted the work done on my sensor was not done well by Silver Lake so they had to repair it as well. I'd recommend finding a local auto repair show instead. They are more trustworthy and fair in pricing.

This time I needed a new tire for one that had sidewall damage. It's a special tire, but they were able to locate one and have it delivered and installed in a couple of days. When picking it up, I was running late and they said, "No worries, we'll be around a little longer -- stop by as soon as you can." I really appreciate their focus on the customer, setting realistic expectations, and getting the work done as promised. I've only had them do tire work, but I'm considering using them for other repairs.

I've had my car there 3 times for service since they first opened their doors a few months ago. In…read moreeach case, I was totally satisfied with the quality of the work done. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.
