The kid TRISTAN (salesman) absolutely will omit information that's important to the car you're buying. Right AFTER we finished with finance he let us know that we'd be without the vehicle's spare key, spare tire, floor mats, refused to give a straight answer about stains on the windows, even lied to his boss about providing us a jack and gas. Upon consistently omitting information, was also a terrible communicator. Poorly communicated functions about the car and VERY poorly explained fees in financing, needed to go get his manager to clarify the points he couldn't convey. read more

Was really bad service overall! took very long to replace the engine in my Jeep, I had warranty on the engine and Auto Max said that the engine is cover but i had to pay for the installation of it include filters & oil. After 3 weeks they call me to pick up the Jeep, i start driving it in a hot day and realize that the AC wasn't working! bring it back to the shop,and it took them one more week to fix the AC. All together they had my Jeep for more then a month! I had to spend more then 2k on it! the only one good thing this company have is Rob, Rob is the service manager and he was the only light in this all deal, but his hand was tight! read more

I bought my wife a Renegade and so far the vehicle is great. The salesman, forgot name, Was ok, Very much not energized. He did take us out in a few vehicles, did a great job on paperwork, but when we went back in to get it, he was lethargic. I am aware of the lacking in the service department, but hopefully when mine is due, they will be good. I will never have them do any major repair. Get your own financing if possible or they will screw you over. I have great credit and even put down a big down payment and they stuck me with a 9.5% rate (Which is unheard of). Since it was late in the evening I completed the deal so I could leave with my vehicle and immediately refinanced it through my bank the next day with a 4.8% rate. Purchased the truck the same day with the promise from Jason Valentine (general manager) that he had the wheel rim caps ordered and coming...It is now April 20' AND NO CAPS! We have called at least 10 times and driven all the way from Norman to Shawnee to be reassured by Jason that the rim caps are 1) somewhere on the premises and he will call when they find them 2) he would mail them to me 3) he would meet me somewhere because he lives in Moore etc, etc... We are still very happy with our purchase but so annoyed at this point with the disregard to a promise that was made and the continued forgetfulness after our $30,000 purchase. read more

We bought our truck there new and have always maintained a service agreement with these guys to get our oil changed, etc. I called TWO WEEKS ago and made an appointment for 8:30 this morning to get the oil changed. We arrived at 8:15 this morning ... at 9:15 our truck was still sitting out front, which meant that WHENEVER they got around to doing us we were looking at atleast another 45 minutes. We had to be in the City and could wait around another 2 hours. I don't know what the problem was, but, when people have APPOINTMENTS they should be serviced BEFORE those that do not have an appointment. read more

Do NOT take your vehicle to this place to get worked on. I have had problems with my heater and a/c and have taken my car there twice. They have yet to fix the problem. They did "repairs" to my car without asking my permission, they held my car there for two days and never called me to tell me it was ready, the service manger tried to make it sound like I was the idiot because all it needed was new filters when that was not the case. They charged me close to $150 to change out my filters. I called to tell them my a/c still wasn't working and the service manager had already left and he never called me back. Finally after a month I got a hold of him and now he is saying that he never told me it was fixed and that he told me that I would have to bring it back in.... HE FLAT OUT LIED TO ME! TWICE!!!! I don't even know where to start, I've had numerous bad experiences with this dealership including the staff & the management. My vehicle was backed into whenever it was being serviced, it added a car fax history incident report, I was out my truck over 4 weeks due this incident. They never let me know how much it's going to cost me whenever the vehicle is work done to it. They start working on it immediately without advising you that it's going to cost you money whenever you bought the extended warranty which doesn't make any sense. Horrible experiences with this company I advise no one to even visit the facility, I could go on and on about more altercations I've had with this company. read more

Purchased a 2015 Charger SRT from AutoMax Dodge (I live a few states away in AZ) - Steven, the manager, took over the sale as soon as we had agreed on a (very fair) price. He was immediately responsive on text or phone, never left me feeling like he had dropped the ball. I wired the money the same day, my bank confirmed the money left and I texted Steven, who 30mins later, confirmed the funds had cleared and showed up in their bank account -- I've bought out-of-state a few times and each time it has taken *days* for the dealers to confirm funds, which is really frustrating for someone impatient like myself. I expected a week or more for the car to arrive after paying on a Friday, instead the car was *in my driveway* that Sunday. Big props to Montway for that one (booked through uShip) and my thanks to Steven for making himself available for the shipping company on a Saturday to get it loaded up. The experience working with AutoMax overall is best described as "friendly and professional" - there were no long periods of time when I didn't hear from them. They were never not available to answer my questions and the responsiveness didn't fall off a cliff once they had my money - Steven and Dale (GM) continue to not just be responsive, but actually reached out to me after a week and asked "So, how are you liking the car?" - typically sales man shy away from that question because I might complain and they have a lot of new problems to solve for me... I really respected that effort to make sure I was taken care of. The car is fantastic, very happy with it. Would happily buy again from AutoMax even though I would incur the shipping cost; finding a dealer you trust is so rare, it's worth the money. read more
