I was going there to my oil changes until my AC stopped blowing cold air (only minimal). I replaced both filters before going to see those people. Turns out they said it was my ac compressor and when I went back to pick up my truck my AC was blowing HOT air I told the guy Samuel how is that possible?? I brought it in with a little cool air now its just hot! He said yes I didn't know that putting it on the diagnostics it would do that... So I went to get a second opinion it just wasn't sitting right with me. So the guy from the Auto check says your missing your cabin filter and your AC relay I'm like what the heck! I just replaced my filters....Those people are thieves and don't know what they are doing so I had to replace those and it wasn't even my air compressor the active shutters behind the bumper were completely shut that's all it was NOT MY AC COMPESSOR! I don't trust them and DO NOT RECOMMENED them. The worst experience i've had. Saved myself 900!!! I told my husband not to take my truck there anymore they might take other pieces. read more

(I just realized i never posted this review which i wrote a year ago) They sold me a $15 oil filter and never changed my old one out. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. They told me it would take 15 minutes to deliver a new filter since they did not have it in stock. Then it would take some time for the actual oil change. No problem I said. 15 minutes later my car was ready. I watch them and no delivery drivers ever came up. Then they told me it would be $75 cash only. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they found a filter on hand, I left and went to the store to get cash. While I was there, I lifted the hood and saw the oil filter cover had never been removed. There weren't even smudges or anything from a tool, a rag or hands. When I touched it, I could see the dirt wipe off. So I went back to the shop and asked to see the delivery receipt for the oil filter. Then he said sometimes they deliver parts and send the delivery receipt later. He said they could have an invoice faxed over from AutoZone. So he got on the phone for a few minutes with AutoZone then went outside to look at my VIN number. At this point, I knew I had been had. This is where it gets crazier. I asked the guy to at least show me my old oil filter. He said okay and walked into the shop, grabbed a new box with filter off the shelf and disappeared behind the building. Then he came back in with that filter in his hand, soak in oil. LOOK I'm the only person who's ever change the oil in this vehicle and I only stopped here because I was in a hurry. So I know which filter goes in this car. It's very specific and the one he showed me definitely was not the one for this car. I walked out without paying and told them to have the manager call me. Now I need to go to a reputable shop and have my oil changed for real. I'm not sure what kind of scam they are trying to pull, but definitely stay away. read more

This is pretty much a no-frills auto shop. Need oil change and inspection done cheap and correctly? This is your destination. You aren't going to get all the extra services such as vacuuming and windshield wiper fluid top off, but you are paying way less than $30 for an oil change ($17 actually). State inspection is done for under $40. As the name suggests, Fast Sticker & Lube is pretty quick. One time I had to wait longer than normal, so they knocked a few dollars off the price. Why the abnormality? This is my only beef with the place: there is no structure on the order in which they service your car. I saw people come in after me and leave before me. It all depends on who you hand your keys too. The interior waiting room is kind of dingy, but you can sit outside on the plastic chairs and enjoy the smoggy, humid Houston air if you prefer. read more

Went in for front brake pads. When I got home I noticed my car was making a loud stretching noise. I waited a few days and took it back. The employee I spoke with took the car on a test drive and said now the car needs new rotors. I don't think they even changed my pads but also I think they messed with my car. I feel they did something to my car because the same day I took my car back the employee called me by accident as if he knew something was going to be wrong with my car. read more

Thieves! Be very careful with this place as they are taking advantage of people. If you are not mechanical inclined they will pull a fast one. I didn't have to pay for my inspection but I really hate dishonest people. I see them as Bullying to take your money. This time they got the wrong customer that is mechanically inclined. Initially went in for inspection and the guy pulls me to the bay mentioned everything passed except the brake system. I asked how is that possible if I just had MDX serviced at Pepboys and they do courtesy inspection while being serviced. Only thing Pepboys noted was front tires needing to replaced soon. I offered to show him paper work and he refused. Then he included that he noticed front tires which that was another lie as Pepboys Rotated the tires to the rear. Not knowing that I'm mechanically inclined I got technical and asked how did he measure brakes? He's response was just by looking at them , in reality you used a caliper tool to measure thickness. His game plan was for me to give in and allow them to change my brakes( more money in their pocket) +$25 inspection fee. As mentioned, I didn't get charged. But I hate dishonest people that take advantage of others. SNAKES! read more

I'm honestly not sure about these other customers who had a bad experience. This place is great and everyone here was extremely understanding and patient. They helped me find the correct address after my maps sent me to the wrong place TWICE. They dealt with my multiple calls over having trouble navigating and waited for me to pull up right at closing and still assist me. I've been looking for an auto shop to consistently go to and trust. This is the one and I will be back again. Thank you so much to the employees here who made sure my brake pads were replaced even if it meant assisting me as I pulled in at closing when they should be closing up and going home after a long day at work. I was turned away by many shops I called that were open an hour or two later than this place. The other shops told me my brake pads would require over an hour of work and intense labor and they did not have time. This shop assured me it wouldn't be a difficult task and we're happy to accommodate. Thank you again, guys! Y'all are are doing great! Will recommend to friends. read more

Drove up to the place, advertises $17 oil change. Talking to the guy, he won't do 5w20 for that price but can for $27. Fine, I agree and sit in the tiny waiting room for about 30 min or so. Get the car back within a reasonable time, but some basic items you would expect to happen during an oil change like checking the tires, belts, battery etc - none of that happened. Had leaks in two tires so I knew they were low and still had to pay to air them up at a gas station the next day, and then saw a lot of corrosion on my battery terminals that you'd think they would have caught and at least mentioned to me. Will just go to a more thorough place and pay an extra $5 for the kind of service you generally take for granted when you don't change your own oil. read more

I was in the need of an inspection, so because I live close I stopped by this business. I pulled in behind a gentleman who waited in his car for an attendant to come over and help him. The attendants just looked as us both and never came our way. We both were appalled. The gentleman ahead of me mentioned that the attendants used to come out to your care to wait on you. The gentleman had just visited the business last week .. but this time, there was NO notice and no warm customer service offered to help customers who were use to the previous way of doing business. (First time - shame on me). I saw that Fast sticker and Lube does oil changes and I needed an oil change like last week. So, I returned to Fast Sticker & Lube. (Big mistake) This time everything went smooth until my car was returned to me. The attendant had laid a paper mat on the floor, but had done NOTHING TO PROTECT MY SEAT COVERS FROM THE OIL ON HIS CLOTHES. THE OIL FROM THE ATTENDANTS' CLOTHES WAS NOW TRANSFERRED TO MY SEAT COVERS. Not only was the oil from his clothes transferred, but also the dirt from his boots and the oil from his hands were all over my car. The car was returned to me with the dirty mat still on the floor, and in addition there was dirt on the running board, oil on the steering wheel, dirt on the door handle and on the gear shift. So, THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HAD NOW TURNED INTO BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I complained, but the woman at the desk spoke very limited English and offered me a free oil change (like I want to return for more bad service). Some folks came out and attempted to clean the oil from my seat covers to no avail. (Second time - shame on me). I even called the complaint number posted. The folks acted helpless and again offered more bad service. So, unless you do not care about the condition of your car ... I would not visit this business again. 1st time - shame on them 2nd time - shame on me .... there won't be a 3rd time! Fast really means We are going to Fail you At every chance we get to Show That we don't care about your business! I vote with my dollar and this place earns a HUGE thumbs down! read more

Avoid this place unless you have half a day to spend here. Bottom line, I was told it would take 30 minutes to charge the A/C and 2 hours later I am still waiting. Came here for inspection also and told them I had battery changed yesterday. I was concerned it reset and the emissions reset. Told to drive it 20 miles and come back. DON'T GO. Rude, in a hurry and not customer friendly. Went in for a State inspection. I'm new to TX just moving from another state so I just got TX insurance. They would not take my spec sheet from the insurance company because it was not an insurance card but the insurance company told me it was my only proof of insurance till I get my card in the mail. I had to call the insurance company for approval again - even my insurance guy said he never had someone refuse the spec sheet. Then he failed inspection - windows tinted too dark - TX law 25 and I was at 20. I paid good money to get the tint professionally done and they were in guidelines when installed...Not happy. read more

I don't write many reviews but I feel it's important to let y'all know they left my car in worse condition than when I took it in. I needed am alignment before a road trip last week (it was pulling to the right). In the middle of the alignment they let me know my car required a camber kit to fix the front camber, however adjusting the toe in the opposite direction would fix the problem. I let them try that out and after the adjustment they test drove it, brought it back and told me it was good to go. After I left, my car immediately started pulling hard to the right. I didn't have time to go back so I decided to take care of it when I got back into town. On the highway my car pulled DANGEROUSLY to the right. I had to keep a very firm grip on it the entire time. When I got back to the shop they were unapologetic and refused to give me a refund explaining to me that they completed the alignment. It wasn't until I called them out for lying about test drive, and they realized I was going to write this review that they relented. And after a long argument, gave me my $40 refund. Their lack of diligence caused my car to be in a WORSE state than before; unapologetically to boot. read more

10/05/2011 These people make me sick! I brought my car in to this place because i seen the signs with what i thought is reasonable. Well turns out i guess its true you get what you pay for! Turns out i was a victim like another person i seen wrote a review, they did me the same way about my alignment, I spent nearly $600 dollars on ball joints and other stuff along with inspection and alignment only to get my car back with the same issues but worse! They came up with a story saying I had to replace other parts to fix my alignment. I left unhappy... I called back to complain about my issue that I still had, then they said bring it back, I took it back 4 times. The second time, they told me it would only be 45 mins but that was a big fat lie, thank god I didn't have to go to work or do other things, I would have been super late. I ended up being literally the last customer out of that place! I thought for awhile they must have forgot about me. They had a younger guy pull up my car and he couldn't explain to me why they took so long with my car and that he felt it was ok! I found my gas gauge wasn't in it's original place! (Where the heck did they have to take my car for a test drive too? BFE? Plus they are messy most of my interior was smudged with oil stains. Then the young guy stated again: I guess it's ok like that! NO!! it's not ok! It's not fair I spent my hard earned money to this business and left unhappy! 10/26/2011 Update: nearly a month later and my steering column isn't right. Still unhappy! I called back again to see by chance maybe they will help me. They told me to bring my car back to them today only to tell me that they were going to look at it. Saying my gear box is messed up! Why couldn't the young guy that worked on my car tell me that And waste my time? Somethings not right! My steering wheel wasn't crooked when I took it to them in the first place. Then they came out with crap saying well maybe your car was in an accident, no it wasn't in a darn accident, I would have known! I own the darn car! Duh!!! I used to love this place...until my last visit. I have been getting my oil changes done there for at least 2 years and they always told me they were using a synthetic blend oil. That was a great price at $18 for my car and $21 for my wife's SUV. Then, on my last visit, the new guy told me the $18 oil change is for regular oil and the synthetic blend was $28 and he said it's always been that way! To top it all off, he tried to tell me my inspection sticker might be a fake, but that he could do my inspection and put a real one on for me! WHAT? I left and won't be going back! read more

Until today I used them only for inspections which usually go fast without drama. Today I went for an oil change for which I called in advance about price. After the work was done, the $1.50 oil filter became an $8.50 filter. I told them I didn't appreciate a bait and switch and got excuses and arguments. When did arguing with an angry customer become a good idea? BTW, they have changed their phone number and name to Automobil Services LLC, likely to get away from the bad reviews. These guys seem to be honest. It's a small shop. Their prices are good, but when I got my car back from a free estimate it smelled like someone was smoking in my car, and I don't smoke. I went in for an alignment and decided against it because they cannot provide a print out of the manufacture measurements for the camber, caster and toe like all the other wheel alignment places. They offered to take pictures, but that wouldn't help me very much. read more

Horrible experience. We went there for an oil change that cost 50 dollars. That's fine but we drove up the block and noticed a smell then the ac wouldn't blow cold air. There was no issue before and it was only after getting an oil change did we notice an issue. We contacted them and they told us to bring the car in which we did. My husband already found the issue but they said it may be the transmission oil. The neck on the radiator was broken. Its as if someone leaned on it and broke it. I am no mechanic but i know this had to be there doing. They mentioned something about heat expansion and then we may have hit something on the road, which we didn't. They would not take accountability and now we were stuck with a unnecessary bill. Not trutworthy at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Plus they overprice parts. Do research before coming here or better yet STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! read more

WOMEN BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.I went into this location on July 23rd 2018. I needed a simple 18.00 oil change. Nothing else was wrong with my vehicle. I had my child with me. I wait for 2 cars to be changed. Once my car was being worked on I notice the five men on shift came in. One came over to and asked me about the corotion on my battery. I explained that I just bought a new battery. He said they needed to change the connections to the battery or my vehicle wouldn't work well. It would just be $50 And take 15 minutes. I knew that advanced auto parts had those parts for like 20 dollars. I said no thank you maybe I'll come back another day. He asked me what day. I told him I was sure it just the oil change today. I paid for the oil change and when I turned on my vehicle I immediately notice it ran worse. It was louder and and the ride was less smooth. I was confused how and oil change could do that. I work for a corrier service so I have to drive alot. I drove it the next 3 days a little around town. However the next time I went to work in mid delivery in the middle of midtown my car began to smoke. I pulled over and had it towed. The mechanic I took a look and said firstly the hose one you radiator is completely missing. Your leaking coolant. He looked around and found the hose looped around another hose in my engine. He explained that sneaky mechanics will do this to insure you come back and spend money. My radiator ended up being busted. And the fan on my engine had to be replaced. All because I just wanted the 18.00 dollar oil change. $500 dollars and being taken advantage. I'm a single mother and almost couldn't pay for it. But without my vehicle I can't make money to feed my daughter. I was told there was nothing I could do about it but I am writing to warn other people that these are the type of men that work here. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. First, every single person here treats you like you're stupid; especially if you're female like myself. I went in for an alignment and oil change and though I told the dipshits here that my car requires 3.5 quarts of oil, they put five. Then didn't align my vehicle properly, my steering wheel was almost upside down and the car would go straight. My husband told them about this and immediately they started talking shit to and about him in Spanish as if neither of us speak it. I have to come back the next day, and as I am writing this I have been waiting for them to fix their fuck up for over 2 hours. I went here to get a coolant flush and the event was terrible. It took much longer than quoted. When my car was given back too me, the lady left her lunch taco in my truck, had the air on that was not on when given. She left the paper floor mats in, parked sloppy and when it was time for me to get my keys, they were left in the keyhole in my door in the parking lot. I will never do this again. Today was the last straw! For the past 6 months we have used this place for all of our mechanical needs. We have an older truck so we have spent a few thousand dollars here trying to keep it in good working order. Our biggest job was the suspension: ball joints, shocks, etc... Within about a month we started to hear a loud 'clunk" every time we turned the wheel. When I took it back I was told it just needed to be lubed up since it was so new. That didn't help, at all. So, I took it back AGAIN and was told it needed needed new ball joints. I told them we had just had them done. Very conveniently they could not find any record of that work because they had just switched systems. Thankfully I still had my receipt. They tried to charge me for the labor of replacing them, but I wasn't about to pay a dime. Finally the guy agreed and did an entire new ball joint job for free. WIthin a day the clunking noise was back. This was a Friday. I was going to take it back the following Monday but I was in a minor wreck. While my truck was at a different mechanical/body shop, I asked the guy to look into the noise and he found that on all the suspension work NONE OF MY BOLTS WERE TIGHTENED!! The new mechanic tightened everything up, for free, and we have not had any clunking since then. Twice I took it back and they never noticed? Or was it done intentionally to make me come back and spend more money?? I wanted to believe that it was unintentional but now I think they just didn't care. Today, I took my truck in for a routine oil change and inspection because I knew it would be quick. Well, turns out our differential is leaking. Yep, they just "fixed" it less than six months ago. Of course when we brought our receipt in they basically blew us off saying it was a different gasket. BULL. We had both differentials done at the same time. These guys just do crappy work. We have spent quite a bit of money there, but they will not get any more. Don't go there. Even for an oil change. read more

I've only ever come here to get oil changes and inspections. I am a no frills person when it comes to these things as well as impatient. They get me in and out promptly without trying to sell me on everything else they do. They gave me a brochure and at top it says "we're more than just oil changes and inspections" - that may be, but that's all you're getting from me. I support local businesses which is why I have been bringing our cars here. I will let the mechanic in the family take care of me on everything else. This company advertises $15 oil changes done in 10 minutes. I called and set an 11:30am appointment. I got there at 11:20am. There were only 2 other people there and they were already being serviced. My truck was the only one in the parking lot. I thought, "Well, I either got lucky or this place sucks and everybody else already knows about it." At 11:40am, I asked the girl at the counter how much longer it was going to be. She said, "I dunno" and walked away. That's when I should have left, but no, I wanted to give them a chance. Long story short, I didn't get out of there until after 12pm. Considering how absolutely clueless everyone working there acted, I am now going to have someone else make sure I actually got an oil change and that no damage was done. My advice, spend the extra $10 bucks at some place else!! read more
