I went to T&S after several people recommended it in my Facebook group. I went in for a tuneup which I got, and I was pleased with, I felt they were honest about the tuneup because initially they said it could need this and it could need that and it didn't need the extras. But I declined a service they suggested I get that cost nearly $900. I wanted to get a second opinion. I went to Heights Mobile on 18th St. they diagnosed what T & S said I needed and they said I didn't need that at all. T & S also quoted a front end alignment for $149.95. I also declined this service. I instead got it done at Monterey Tire Shop where it was only $69. Needless to say, I will never go back to this automotive center. A free diagnostic check is not always free. They seem to always find something. On a sidenote, most businesses would thank their clients for good reviews and remark on bad reviews, but this business does not do that. They stay completely silent. Beware. read more

Have pretty good service there, friendly too. I love that they'll drive you home when you drop your car off, if you're nearby. Then they'll come pick you back up when your car is done - makes the day a lot easier. Hve had brakes done, oil changes, timing belt changed, and various other car repairs. I had great service here! I don't have much knowledge on cars so it was refreshing for someone to walk me through each step and repair that they needed to do. My brakes had to be repaired and replaced so they were explaining each individual charge to me and really putting into perspective what I needed to know without complication. To begin with, I have never taken my car to this mechanic for a repair. I do, however, have first hand experience with this company. In June of 2012, one of the employees of this shop was out test driving a client's car. He ran a red light and hit me, totaling my car. The police officer who reported to the scene told me that the other driver was under 18 and did not have a driver's license. My insurance company is still in court with this company, because the owner refuses to pay for the damages. Stay away from this guy. read more

I have done business with T&S Auto Repair three separate times. Each time, the service was beyond excellent and the work was completed quickly. They go out of their way to make sure they can take care of your issue, and will recommend alternatives if they cannot. I have never felt more confident in an auto repair shop. I am confused by the poor reviews given to T&S Auto as my experience has always been extremely positive. I've taken my car there about six times over the past year, mostly for minor things like tune-ups and oil changes, but also for a couple of more involved repairs. Each time, I've been met with excellent service and quality repair. In one recent example, I needed a tie rod replaced on one of my wheels. Firestone quoted me about $600 for the repair, whereas T&S quoted me $400. When the repair was complete and I picked up the car, the final bill came to $300 because, as T&S explained, the car did not end up needing the wheel balancing. Now, they could have very easily just done the wheel balancing anyway and charged me for it as that was what I was expecting. However, they determined that it wasn't necessary and chose to save me that cost. Since the repair, the car has driven beautifully. To me, this perfectly illustrates their honesty, quality repair work and excellent customer service. A "typical sleazy auto repair shop" wouldn't have hesitated to perform, and charge me for, needless repair. read more

She priced me out on tires including mount & balance to let me take home to see if I could get a better price else where. *not 100% sure her name was Betty. We took a vehicle here for inspection and it failed. I have never seen a vehicle fail for the reason listed on that form. Took it to another location the next day and it passed. With specific review of what was documented as needing to be fixed by the T & S inspector. Our conclusion is that the T & S inspector failed our vehicle for reasons he interpreted as part of the inspection guidelines, but actually were not. We won't go back. read more

This is the only place I take my car in for repairs. They have worked on a couple of my BMW's and honestly, they do a better job than the dealership downtown. Trust me, I don't take it to the dealership unless it's a recall or guarantee issue. I have total trust in T&S. They are always so accommodating and quick; as well as, more cost efficient - very reasonable pricing. I will try to keep this short... No issues my first visit. I was please with everything. Second time, I felt I was grossly over charged. When I was given the car back I was told "there will be a little noise, but not to worry." After two months I was so upset I had spent so much money ($1400) for it to sound almost the same. I went back and was told it was something completely different. It would need another $1100 to fix. I questioned and questioned them, but they would never admit they did not fix the correct part in the beginning. Had they worked with me on the issue and cost I would not be so pissed. This is a very nice family owned business, easy to get a hold of, they're always patient (believe me, I called a LOT) and accommodating. The manager, Low, was very knowledgeable and helpful and explained the issue to me and even offered a more affordable solution for the time being the first time I came here. He replaced only 3 coils and got me back on the road! I never felt taken advantage of. They are more then fair, and very patient. After a great first experience, I had a horrible second one. They didn't fix what was wrong, charged me hundreds of dollars for the work they did in not fixing what was wrong, and tried to tell me that I needed new tires. Not even the tire place agreed with that. My tires just needed to be balanced. That was it. As soon as they were balanced, it was fine. They didn't have to fleece me. The tire place could have sold me tires unnecessarily, based on the bad information I got from T&S, but they were much more honest than T&S. Discount Tire did a great job. My wife and I have been to these guys a few times in the past. They have always been honest and even diagnosed the problem for free every time. Today my Radiator pretty much exploded on the way home. I pulled in a few hours before they closed. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and made the repair in a short amount of time for a reasonable price. Always excellent customer service at T&S! I decided to stop by for an oil change because it's close to my home and my usual place ticked me off. I'm a convert! I've taken both of my vehicles back and had multiple minor repairs done on one of them and they've done a great job every time. They might not be the cheapest place you can find, but you don't have to worry about them finding issues that aren't there to pad their cost. Plus, they're still much cheaper than the dealership. Went in for my annual inspection. Gent rudely told me that they couldn't inspect my vehicle as windshield was cracked. I told him it doesn't matter as Texas doesn't require your windshield to be perfect so long as it doesn't wreck your wiper blades (which mine doesn't) He just said he couldn't do it then turned his back and started walking away without even engaging. I said "is that it?". He just responded yes and kept walking. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to the owner and ended up talking to the owner's daughter.
