He told her he just did an adjustment and she did not owe him anything but to come around when she really needed work. He charged her a handshake. Honest and competent.

Pretty flabbergasted, I begin to do research online and calling other places. I call to ask why the parts and labor costs are so high after a cursory online search. I find out after calling that they "only use the best parts" AKA OEM parts which are made directly by the manufacturer of the vehicle. Even with using these parts they are still up charging for the parts close to 200%. I call another auto shop that also uses the OEM parts and they will do the job including all parts and labor for $1250. I am actually pretty offended by how sleezy these people are. Maybe get with the 21st century and realize that everyone can use AI now to research these things. Apart from that, just stop trying to screw people over. This place is terrible and would give 0 stars, if I could. Oh, and by the way I am being charged $300 for a "diagnostic fee" as well...

I waited 30 minutes to talk to someone and then left because no one was available to talk to me and they hadn't said a word since I first arrived to say it would be 5 minutes. They fixed my girl friend's car and ended up putting a crack in the windshield and wouldn't own up to it. Don't recommend this place.

This shop was lovely…read more Typically I can't stand auto shops. as a woman, they feel grimey - and I put off going because I know I'll get talked down at (eyeroll) and feel awkward eyes staring at me. IYKYK. This place didn't feel like that. What was different: - they communicated about pickup and delays through a text system (tried calling first, but I'm in work calls all day and can rarely answer). loved. - the people working there were all really kind, and talked to me like a normal human. - they found out that my catalytic converter needed replacing, but when I found out it was still under warranty with the dealership, they were genuinely happy for me that I didn't have to pay their shop for the fix. - they called me the next day to make sure I was still happy. - free diagnostic services - free lyft ride home within 5 miles (but it's also in a really convenient walkable area) Anyway I was incredibly happy with this shop and will be going back anytime I basically need anything done.

I started going here after some terrible experiences with my mechanic of several years, and E1 has…read moreconsistently been great to work with. I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). Just a great business.
