I have had body work done on several cars here over the last few years, and had nothing but great service and fantastic results at a very reasonable price! Most recently, I had a couple spots repaired (a fender scraped against the garage door, and a dented/scratched passenger side door) on my beloved "Blue Magnetism"-colored Prius Prime. I was really worried that the paint could not be matched well, since it is kind of an unusual color. But American Auto Body knocked it out of the park! They even washed and buffed the whole car, so it was super clean and sparkly when I picked it up. It looks absolutely perfect. Couldn't be happier! Thanks again for yet another awesome repair job. :)

I don't even know where to begin. I'll start with Dave. After walking into a couple other places,…read moreincluding Jake Sweeney Body Shop (bought my car from Jake Sweeney), to talk about the damage and getting the repairs done, I walked into Llanfair Auto Body and was greeted by Dave. He instantly came outside and looked at my car and discussed what all things would need replacing. Within a few minutes of him talking and letting me know, I felt confident that he could get the job done and bring my car back to its life after this disaster of an accident that wasn't my fault. Fast forward to some time in the future, I was involved in a small fender bender in the parking lot at work (not my fault again). I instantly took the car to Dave to look at and see what I'm looking at in cost and time frame. Both times, he gave me a true cost, didn't try to overdue anything, advised me on how I should get a rental car and reassured me that he would be able to make my baby new again. Within a week or two later, I called Dave and we set up a good time to get the car dropped off. Once the car was in, he kept me updated on exactly everything that was going on in great detail. While there were obstacles that pushed the original time frame back, I remained confident in Llanfair because they were working their butts off to bring my car back. After 3 long weeks of being without my car, I got the call from Nathan (one of the body techs, very cool guy) that my car was ready. I instantly got happy and nervous at the same time. Once I entered the parking lot and saw my car, my jaw dropped as the sun shined off the Mazda emblem in the front. The entire car was very shiny, very well put together, very clean and extremely beautiful again. I have to say thank you so much to Dave, Nathan and the rest of the crew at Llanfair Auto Body for doing such an amazing job on my car. I was very picky on who I wanted to touch my car and became very excited at the end result. After going so long with the side of my car a bit banged up, I now look back at my car at least 5 times and do a walk around every time I get out now. Please consider using a different collision shop. I took my car to woods to fix a small dent /…read morescuffed paint from my car being hit with a baseball bat. After about 2 or 3 months post being fixed, the paint cracked. I then took it back for a second time for the cracked paint to be fixed. Once I picked it up the second time, the fixed area of paint was raised / had a bubble almost under the paint. Keep in mind this is a very small area on the side of my car that was done wrongly not once, but twice. After the second time, I called and spoke to the manager. He denied any issue with the quality of work that was given and requested photos to show the issue. He failed to contact me back and I went through my insurance regarding the issues with Woods. They have since been taken off Nation Wides list of shops they work through. I will include photos to show the lack of quality. Lastly, there is a complete lack of professionalism in there front office and with management.

Over the course of a year for a single passenger side body repair, I had to return multiple times to the shop and make over a dozen phone calls. The main issues were quality of work and customer service. Quality of Work: Several items from my insurance claim were missed during the initial repair, and even after the repairs were done in stages, I experienced recurring issues (e.g., electronics malfunctioning) only after driving the car off the lot. Customer Service: Communication was poor, with a lack of clarity on timing expectations for a replacement for a faulty part included in the original fix. Despite the shop eventually accommodating me once the part arrived (something I only learned by calling them myself), I faced further frustration when issues continued after the repair, when I drove off the lot. When I suggested they test cars in motion to avoid rework, I was dismissed as not being an "expert" and told to sit and wait, which I did for an additional hour, while this new issue was being fixed. Additionally, my car was always returned dirtier than when I dropped it off. In short, if you're considering Wood's Collision, proceed with caution. Document everything and be prepared for poor communication and potential rework. I could have just had bad luck, but felt the need to share my experience with others.
