I have had a great experience at power train. The staff know exactly what do to help you reach your goals.

Darren said there would be no charge if I brought my car in two weeks later to see if there were any leaks.

When my car's transmission broke down, I called around to a few transmission shops in the area…read more Fred at Authorized Transmissions was the only one who clearly spelled out what his shop would do, how much labor he would charge, and also gave an estimate on parts; the choice was clear. I had the car dropped off on a weekend and heard back from Fred on Monday that in fact I didn't need any transmission work, only a shift cable that had snapped off. I also opted to replace the original clutch (136k miles) and I couldn't be happier with the work. Done when promised, for the price quoted, and it runs like a dream. You don't get honesty, integrity, and value much these days with many repair shops. But Fred and his team at Authorized Transmissions stand head and shoulders among the rest. Thanks for the great work and painless experience Fred! Brad

I wish I could rate this place zero stars. Where do I even begin, this shop ruined my car…read morecompletely I brought my Nissan 350z here in the beginning of this summer in May of 2019 for a transmission rebuild and was informed it would get done in 3 days. Fast forward to 4 weeks later and it finally was finished, incorrectly I might add. I was driving it to work the next day after I received my car back, mind you I already spent 2600 on the rebuild. When I was driving it back it would come out of gear so I took it back to the shop on that day. They informed me that my computer in my car was broken and it had nothing to do with them. Then they told me they would send me to their parts guy to get the computer so they could "make things right" their parts guy gave me the wrong part and I could not get a refund. They told me it was my fault and my car was not their problem anymore. After I got the correct part I got it installed at Nissan and I still had the isssues. I was informed that the transmission was not rebuilt correctly and they refused to honor the 3 year warranty that I paid for and did not offer to fix my problem. I would avoid this place at all costs. They are liars and thieves and I am seeking legal action. I seriously would avoid this shop they ruined my Car completely and took my money for a service they did not perform. I had to buy a different car because they destroyed mine. Please do not go here

Listen. LISTEN. If you are considering hiring this "mobile mechanic," please pause, take a deep…read morebreath, and maybe lie down, because what I'm about to describe is not for the faint of heart. This man rolled up to my driveway in a van that looked like it had already lost a fight with a tornado, a raccoon, and possibly its own sense of self-worth. He hopped out, spilled an entire soda, and said, "Don't worry, that happens." Sir. SIR. Why is that your greeting?? He opened my hood, nodded like he was understanding the secrets of the universe, then poked a totally random part and said, "Yep, that's your problem." When I asked what the problem was, he said and I quote, "Mechanic stuff." Thirty minutes later my car was making a new sound I can only describe as "haunted dishwasher screaming into the void." I asked him if that was normal and he said, "Cars make noises." Then he charged me an amount of money so offensive I think it might be a hate crime against my bank account. He drove away. My car died. In the same moment. Like they were spiritually connected and my car couldn't continue living after witnessing whatever he did to it. If you hire this man, may the automotive gods have mercy on your soul because he WILL NOT. i would give zero stars but, Yelp refuses to let me express the true depth of my suffering.

Basically we were side swiped. I put out a project on yelp asking for a mechanic. Dave messaged me…read moreand said he would come out that night to take a look. Hours go by and he never showed. Finally that morning he came by. Told us the issues and told us what parts to get. We paid him $250 to buy the parts and $200 in labor. Not only did he get junked parts but none of them were good. I asked him to at least refund us for the money we paid in the parts. So he stopped responding. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He took our car parts and sold them for cash and our car still isn't running. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO!!!! I really thought these guys were honest and good people but they are…read morelike every other corporate business. They over price and give you the run around. I had a tune up there cost me nearly $600 didn't change 1 coil!!! Months after I had them replace my water pump which cost me just under $500 they failed to put my timing belt on correctly and since I knew nothing about cars, they allowed me to leave their shop with a crazy ticking noise as if I had a Diesel engine and I made sure to bring it to their attention that's not a sound I ever heard prior to bring it in. They insisted that I take it to who did my oil change?!!! Days go by I'm on my way home from work and boom! Long story short I ended up having to get a new engine because they failed to pay attention to detail. Cost me $3,000.00!!!!! Joe (the mechanic) insisted he would never let me leave with an unsafe vehicle because he knew I had children. Thanks for nothing.

Earlier this week, my vehicle was struck by a delivery van and declared a total loss by the insurance company. The initial valuation was low but I put a lot of work into my car this past year. I didn't keep any of my receipts but fortunately Lou does! He was able to make copies of all receipt documentation for the work that he did on my car so that I could show the insurance company. Awesome customer service!
