I went to this auto repair shop for a vehicle inspection, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The manager/owner was rude and disrespectful. While I was waiting, I noticed the employees standing around talking and the owner even came out to ride an electric skateboard in the front of the shop, so I politely asked if the technician had finished the oil change on the car ahead of me. Instead of answering my question professionally, the manager/owner told me I could "stay or go." I found his response dismissive and unprofessional. As a customer, I was simply trying to understand how much longer the wait would be. A little courtesy and communication go a long way, but I didn't receive either during my visit. Based on this experience, I would not return and cannot recommend this shop. I went to Central Valley Auto Repair which is three blocks down on 234 N. Central Ave. Better service. Nick's Auto was a reputable shop for many years under the original owner, John. After John sold the business and retired, the professionalism and customer service that made this shop well respected is gone. BEWARE!!

We purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 with only 57,000 miles from Kurt. He most recently replaced the Driveshaft and assured us that the vehicle was mechanically sound. On the first drive, the car left us stranded on the side of the road, indicating a transmission malfunction fault. I called Kurt, but he was not interested in helping, he also mentioned that he does not warranty his work. So I took the vehicle to a reputable shop that lifted the vehicle to check it out. To my surprise, the Driveshaft was damaged due to improper installation, and, it was found to be a low quality Chinese driveshaft that cost 1/10th the price of the original. Just about any mechanic that you will meet will warranty their work, and own their mistakes (which is ok, we are only human) but not Kurt. Instead, I am left with a hefty bill and a vehicle that my mother is afraid to even drive now. This review is so that you, as a potential customer, are aware of the person that you are looking forward to doing business with. I would highly recommend using mechanics that will warranty their work, because mistakes do happen.

Now that he has expanded h his business to Franklin Square...seems like customer service has gone down the toilet. He is not on site anymore and won't speak to customers even if there is a disagreement. There is a young guy behind the desk that seems to be running things now. I had an unfortunate encounter with him where he lied about calling me to approve services to my vehicle that I did not approve. I just wanted my brakes and rotors changed and that was confirmed when I dropped off the vehicle...only to be forced to pay for an extra tire rotation ($50 -while tires were already taken off already for brake job!) and coolant top off ($20) that was not pre approved (I had the tires already rotated that same morning at the dealership with an oil change!!). I understand that miscommunications can happen, but don't lie and tell me you called me to approve the extra services!! I have no tolerance for dishonesty!! PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!

He ended up replacing my backup light with a used bulb that was dim and charged me 50 dollars for it. Next, he "replaced" my entire washer fluid reservoir when only the hose needed replacing . A panel from the bottom of my car ended up falling out 2 days later and all my washer fluid fell out. I ended up leaving with more problems than I had because I had to find someone who could put the panel back up. Avoid these people if you can.

A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding.
