I have a 2015 F-150 that I bought from an AutoNation dealership and was given an oil change and tire rotation plan, and we'll all I can say is thank you autonation chevrolet of Spokane valley, time and time again your team has taken care of me and my truck, even road force balancing my rear wheels for free once as my past tire shops had screwed me over with their balancing. If I could I'd give damn well near 5 stars although you guys did forget to put my valve stem caps back on my wheels, and did not inflate them to their preferred pressure, but besides that you've done me well. :D read more

I bought a used car 2 weeks ago. I decided to get an outside inspection since I paid over 30k for the car. The inspection took place 7 days after purchase and I put 60 miles on the car. The drive shaft needed to be replaced, and a front strut was bent and needed replacing also. I notified the dealership of the 5k expense to fix the car. I was told the invoice was sent to the GM Seth Marshalek and he would get back to me. My mechanic notified the Autonation warranty and they opened a file for their inspection. This was all done 7 days after purchase. We're at 2 weeks now, the drive shaft is coming from Germany, 3 to 4 weeks. By now I've contacted the salesman, he requested by text the invoice and inspection from my garage again, which I sent. I followed up with a call and left him a VM. They never opened the text I sent. I haven't gotten called back. I don't have a car for probably another month. Do your due diligence before signing a contract for a used car there, or don't do business with them. I was approved for the car I wanted on a Tuesday but was told it wouldn't be ready for 1-2 days. I told the sales guy I had a gig that weekend (I am a traveling musician) and he assured me that wouldn't be an issue. Wednesday afternoon I checked in and was told it would be ready Thursday. Thursday I checked in, no response. Friday I checked in, no response. I finally called the manager since it had been 48 hours, no response. I called a FOURTH TIME and finally talked to the finance gal who asked why I hadn't come in to get my car... So I explained all of the above to her. She was suppose to call me back and **never did** then claimed it was because she had a different number on file, which isn't true. I've had the same number for almost two decades. SO - I called her a second time and that's when I was FINALLY brought back in to look at the van and it was in awful condition! Stains all over the inside, ripped seats, deep scratches on the outside that were obviously from a minor accident. I was in shock at how much they wanted and told them I would not be buying a 22,000 vehicle in that condition. I was offered a Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel instead. I asked SEVERAL TIMES what other vehicles qualified on their SEVEN LOTS and apparently, there weren't any that would fit my needs, even though the exact reason I picked this lot was there large inventory. I ended up going with the jeep because I was desperate for a running car at that point and had another paid gig coming up. When I turned the AC on for the first time - that following Friday - the engine felt weak so I called to bring it in and have it looked at. Once again, no call back the first or second time I reached out, so I didn't go to my gig for fear that something was wrong with the jeep. It took me three days of calling to finally reach their shop manager and get an appointment, only for them to tell me that they couldn't find the issue. I drove off the lot and IMMEDIATELY felt the issue but was so defeated by the horrible treatment I just gave up. I missed another gig because of all the back and forth and now I get to stress every time the AC is on that something is wrong. At the end of the day I am out $500 for two paid gigs that I missed - due to no fault of my own - and I have a 20K car with an AC issue. I will never use this lot again!! They didn't give a crap about me from start to finish. The apology I received was forced and fake. I have a $500 payment in less than two weeks and I've lost that exact amount in income, which is going to make things extremely difficult for me this month. The worst part is that I openly shared with them that I had anxiety car shopping and that I wanted to be treated well, even though I wasn't their ideal customer since I am a single mom with limited income. I expressed my frustration with being treated subpar, and then they treated me subpar anyways!! I get upset every time I think about how they NEVER called me back in all of those interactions over the course of two weeks - except when their shop manager reached out to schedule a diagnostic. I am appalled at the sheer amount of times they dropped the ball. We're talking six phone calls to different people on different days with NO CALL BACK. I was also told on two different occasions that the person I was leaving a message for **only had two hands and were doing the best they could** as if I was asking for them to do something outside of the job they were being paid to perform! As if I wasn't a PAYING CUSTOMER JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Never again!! I highly recommend avoiding this place if you want to be treated well, especially if you don't have 20K down and an 800 credit score. I bought a used car from another AutoNation store nearby. They told me it was a trade-in from this store. Given it's a Chevy, I wanted some simple parts. The "fun": - I couldn't find a parts phone number on their site, I had to fill out a form. - I explained the parts issue and got a call from sales instead. The person told me he'd get me over to parts and have them contact me. - They didn't contact me. - I drove to the building and talked to parts. The guy couldn't find anything, but I left my name and number and he said he'd do more research and get back to me. - Two days later, I haven't heard from Parts. Abysmal customer service. read more

This is absolutely one of the WORST car dealerships I have ever dealt with in my life. We purchased our car on 2/23/24. We had to bring it in to the shop 2 weeks after we purchased due to over heating, we were left without a car for a week. Got it back then had to return it for a coolant leak one week later. Left without a car again and was told I would have to pay $500 to get it fixed. I was told when we purchased the car we had a "bumper to bumper" coverage for the first 90 days so I was shocked when I was told I had to pay $500 dollars. Went in and talked with Brad who said he would cover $400 of it as a " Good faith one time offer" but if anything else came up I would be on the hook for it. Brad also got me a loaner car for the week (which I was grateful for) but it had an expired dealer plate! I paid the $100 deductible for my warranty and haven't had any car issues since but my horrible experience doesn't end there. After I got my car back I was expecting to get my plates just a few weeks later but those weeks came and went without any sort of word. I finally called and asked when they would be in, come to find out they didn't have them. Couldn't get them for an odometer issue. I got with Gary who after several missed phone calls eventually got a hold of me to try and get me to bring the car back and buy a different car (of course they didn't have any in the same price range so I would have to pay more) I told him that wasn't an option and he needed to figure out whatever he needed to do to get the plates. Well after 89 DAYS I finally got a picture of my plates from Gary! There was absolutely no empathy or anything when it came to the stress and possibility of getting pulled over for driving around on a temporary tag that expired almost 45 days prior! I will mention that Gary offered to drop the plates off at my house but honestly that just felt very forced and not because he wanted to. I asked for some sort of compensation for all the trouble and was told that was absolutely out of the picture. These people sold me a car that they didn't have the correct paperwork for! They have tried to sell me wiper blades , brakes, tires, rotors, but still have not changed the oil. I will not be back. Today I had an appointment for an oil change. The time was set for 9:00. I arrived at 8:55. I waited until 10:10 and no one started changing the oil. They said that there is no mechanic at the moment. Question: why schedule an appointment if they cannot provide the service. This is simply not respect for the customer. And I had to go to another workshop, where they changed my oil in 30 minutes. I do not recommend going there. They do not value you and your time. Very unprofessional service. read more

Another update! Take your vehicle somewhere else to get it fixed! I had to take my truck to another dealership to get it fixed! Autonation couldn't find the codes or anything wrong .. I question if they know how to read.. it's on the dash messages to. Within a few hrs another dealership had the issues figured out (codes pulled) parts ordered and let me know what's going on with a simple phone call. I made a diagnostic appointment with them and dropped my car off on 8/24. They had my car for 5 DAYS before giving me an official diagnosis as to what was wrong with my car. Gave them the okay to order the parts to fix it. 4-7 business days to get the parts and of course that was Labor Day weekend. Never got an update about anything until 9/6 saying that the parts arrived, only after I contacted them myself. 9/7 I was told that they were hoping to be done with my car on Saturday, but if not someone would be in SPECIFICALLY to finish it on Monday. Well I call on Monday only to find out that no one was working on my car because the two people that had been don't work Sunday and Monday. My car gets finished on 9/9 but that's only AFTER speaking to the manager and expressing my frustrations. But then he proceeds to tell me that what they fixed wasn't even the problem and that it was a different issue that would then cost another $700 on top of the $800 we were already quoted. The manager was oh so kind enough to offer $500 off the service, but that made no difference at this point. Finally picked up my car on Tuesday and paid the $800 for my car to still have the same issue. Not to mention I ended up finding damage to my car that 100% was not there when I dropped it off. 10/10 would never recommend this joke of a place to anyone read more

went in for an oil change. Took 2 hours and on the way home I had smoke coming from under the hood the entire ride home. When I got home I popped the hood and it looked like someone had sprayed oil all over the engine and wheel well and made zero attempt to clean it up. I brought it back the next day and after another 2 hours I was told the adapter probably wasn't attached correctly and caused the mess. they would clean it up and bring it back up. As soon as I popped the hood before going back in to grab my keys it was EXACTLY the same. There was zero effort to clean any of the oil off the engine. I brought the advisor out and showed him and was initially told their wash station wasn't working and there wasn't anythjng they can do. I was then brought to the manager who came and took a look and got ahold of another dealership to take it to them to have it washed. I was never talked to by the manager again after that, just sent on my way. So after a total of 5 hours and 2 days, I accomplished an oil change and now have a ruined mud flap from how much oil got everywhere. PLEASE avoid getting your oil changed here. Had a pre-purchase inspection done on a vehicle I was buying; and all that work, and all the points of inspection were for nothing. Is it because its done without seasoned technicians? Or they let some new guy, at it, since he/she is the lowest in the rankings and skills? Or they simply don't care, and raced through the inspection without being meticulous about it? Basically, the obvious oil leak was found, quoted, and fixed. But the other obvious clunking in the front suspension while turning, the blown shocks, the "shimmy," while driving and going over bumps... That was never diagnosed? You can push down on any corner of this truck, and it sways like you're on a water bed. This is just me pushing my weight down on it. And this was never found on the inspection.... I'll also add some dash/HVAC lights are out. the seat is creaking, and the handbrake is at the highest height when engaged. All of the above, are just listed as "ok," in the inspection report. This only further perpetuates, that dealer servicing is some of the worst in the industry, and AutoNation happens to be one of the worst here. Find a good indy shop that will pull out the red carpet for you. Not a dealer that doesn't care about the details. read more

Chevy should close this branch immediately!! I'll also start out by saying I'm one chill human being and I am a hard worker so I respect anyone doing the same for me. I purchased my Camaro through a different non-Chevy dealership and thought bringing it to a Chevy dealer for repairs would be in my best interest. WRONG My Camaro had shut down while on the freeway acting very choppy right before going down. I had it towed to AutoNation. I hadn't even owned the vehicle for more than 3 months so I was well under my warranty for any repairs. They called me back finally after almost a week of having it to tell me absolutely nothing was wrong with it and questioned why I even had it brought in. I already explained it shut off..I had them run a diagnostic and they said only a few codes showed a misfire but they didn't know how long ago. They changed my oil cause it was about due and then handed me the close to $200 bill.. I said that my warranty should cover that to which they said well no since nothing is actually wrong with your vehicle and we didn't order any parts we can't turn this in you must pay for it today! I did and when the dude turned my car on for me it sounded like SH*T he told me oh that's fine just drive it around and it will stop.... so I did and as soon as I exit the freeway downtown the most horrid knocks began... this was also on a Sunday and every shop was closed. I called Auto Nation said my Camaro couldn't t even go 10 miles an hour...he told me to DRIVE IT BACK!! I got the codes ran and every cylinder was misfiring... Once it finally got back to them they go yup you need a new engine?!?! Uhhhhh how is it you have had my Camaro a week and send me away with every cylinder misfiring?!?! That will be covered by the warranty he said...uhhh give me my 200 back then?? nope. They had my Camaro for almost 2 months and called to tell me a few days before I can pick it up...I show up after returning my rental on foot and dude goes you ready to see your Camaro?!?! In such excitement I'm like YASS he goes okayyyyy its in a bunch of pieces! I'm like your joking right you have to be joking! NOPE my Camaro was in my horror completely gutted outspread everywhere.... uh guess I'm not driving home then thanks for the update!! My skirt had been cracked also from being on their lift and I noticed it said something and was just stared at??? (good talk) NOT Finally, when I was called to pick my Camaro up he fired it up, and immediately there's this obnoxious high pitch belt squeak! I said what's up with that...he goes oh we got oil on your belt and pressure washed it but it will go away once you drive it....WRONG 7 months later squeak louder than ever I paid a 100 bucks and had it replaced myself... I will forever warn anyone I hear that is considering using this place for any kind of service!! On 12/2/24 I called 509.924.1150 local Autonation Chevy number and made an appt. for 12/24/24 7am to have a hitch installed on my son's car, this was his Christmas present. Arrived at 7 am and was greeted by RUDE Gary, asked me if I ordered the part or have my own I said well I told her what size hitch you guys are to have the part, he says well that's just a call center did u call here to order the parts, uh no why would I do this I ordered them when I scheduled, well they don't know what they are doing I don't know if we have your parts I'm here by myself parts don't open until 8am, I ask why am I here at 7 if parts don't open until 8, I ask don't u check before an appt if u have the parts he tells us they are too busy for that at 530 pm closing up they only see things a couple days ahead. Bree calls me at 8am appx., no parts tells me it's just a quote I needed to order parts and I never paid. I'm tell her what the hell are u talking about I have never ordered the parts and paid EVER, before the work u all do that- no one told me any of this, well u called Vegas not us, I called your local number during business hours, more arguing I hung up went and got car talked to manager said never doing business here again, he apologized I said this was my sons gift he said the Vegas people should have explained it better- this is an INCOMPETENT BUSINESS WITH RUDE EMPLOYEES, manager was not rude if anything I was rude to him I had enough ! read more

My mom is 86 years old, I went to Spokane for a few weeks to help her with some long delayed errands. One of those was to get her car (which she no longer drives, but depends on others to drive for her) evaluated and repaired. There was an engine warning light on. Took it to Autonation for evaluation. Was told it was 3 sensors that needed to be replaced. They had to order the parts. I got the bill and authorized them getting the parts and made an appointment to have them installed. At billing time I told them I would be gone but my brother would bring my mom and car in at the appointment. I said I want to pay for everything, except my mom will pay for the labor to install them. I was about to leave when I looked at the billing statement and went back and I asked, Are you sure everything is taken care of and she only has to pay for labor? I wanted to pay for the parts, the statement showed nothing paid for the parts. I was told it's OK that's how we have to enter it in the computer system. I also asked are you sure the parts will be here? I don't want to have her making several trips. They said yes, the parts were in town and definitely be there. My brother and my mom take the car in at the appointed time and was told the parts had to be ordered and would take 2 days! And nothing was ordered because the parts were. not paid for. My mom was confused and actually got mad and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I paid over $200 and was told that was for the parts. Did they make a mistake? maybe, I'm not sure. But they treated my 86 year old mom very rudely. They even refused to let her speak to a manager. I would say there are options in the Spokane region for a GM car repair, I'd recommend that you think twice before trusting Auto Nation. This was such a horrible experience purchasing a vehicle from this location. We ordered a Tahoe back in June, we were told it would take a month for delivery. Fine, but in the meantime we wanted to get all the paperwork done and get approved. Seeing that we had bought two cars from them over the past 4 years, they said all was good. Told that all we needed yo do was come in and sign the paperwork. Great! Well, that was far from what we experienced. The day after we picked up the car we were called everyday and sent emails to come in and sign paperwork or submit the same paperwork over and over again. This was a nightmare, then we were told that we had completed everything and then the next day we were contacted again to submit the same paperwork. This went on for 4 weeks. Not sure what kind of training these employees had prior to hire, but it couldn't of been much. Basically two months of harassing phone calls and emails. Never again will I purchase from this location nor recommend it. read more

This place is an absolute joke! Took my Tahoe in for an airbag recall, when I picked it up suddenly there was a dash light on same to service my airbags. I went back in and was told that it was highly unlikely that the work they did for the airbag recall was in anyway related to my airbag Notification. They also would not take the time to look at it that day and made me schedule a month out. After coming back I was told in fact, the two were not in anyway related. They charged me $160 just to tell me that then said the work to replace the sensor would be an additional $500. From the initial airbag it's recall scheduling experience we were treated like absolute garbage. What happened to good old customer service?! After spending the last couple of months researching the brand new Tahoe's that we were fully ready to purchase from AutoNation, it is clear we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE. AND UNDER NO MEANS SHOULD YOU USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Not only do they offer a 90 day warranty they don't uphold but they will talk you into purchasing one as well. Then they will charge you 600 dollars for a battery swap before your second payment on you new vehicle is even due. Their service department will be very clear, especially if you deal with Josh or Patrick, that they aren't the ones that sell the warranty so it is not their problem. And that it's not covered and that they don't know what's covered in the 90 warranty. But even with not knowing about the warranty they will know YOUR issue is NOT covered. Then they'll say To call sales. When your upset about the cost Patrick will tell you that maybe if you call sales and your really nice and take your review down that maybe they'll help you out with the cost. REVIEWS NOT COMING DOWN PATRICK nice try though. So now we're 600 bucks out for a battery on a new vehicle. They do not care about their customers they definitely aren't doing their inspections because when this issues started we found multiple issues that would have been caught in inspection. They also do not Provide a copy on the inspection at time of sale or upon request. They try to run you through the ringer until you just give up. They suck. They charged us 300 DOLLARS TO PUT A BATTERY IN. The battery itself was 300 bucks which is actually the only fair thing they did. But to charge 300 bucks in labor for a battery is ridiculous. $600 bucks out the door. But Josh will tell you "doesn't set the prices!" I'll be finding every avenue I can to share my experience with them. We got screwed don't be us. Bought a 2018 ram on 03/15, been having issue for two weeks now. Dropped it off this morning. If you buy a used vehicle here, and it breaks down 5 weeks later they will not prioritize fixing it. They will leave you without a vehicle for an undetermined amount of time. They only care about the actual sale, not the customer they are selling it to. I have a mother who's doing chemo and depends on me to take her to her appointments. I have a job that depends on me to be there. Thought I was buying a truck that could meet those needs and working with a company that knows how to prioritize vehicles that need service. Or at least try to make it as right as they can but they don't. They just want the sale. I know they didn't cause the issue, and things get missed in inspection. But telling your customer what's wrong with the car same day it's dropped off and providing them with a time frame of when it will be completed should be priority. a little understanding as to how inconvenient this type of thing is to their customers would be nice. This isn't three years down the road or even 6 months. It's weeks. Super scammy. Will not be back. Would never refer anyone here either. Highly recommend car max. Took my vehicle in for extended warranty service, that should've been covered. They had it for almost 3 weeks. No communication. After a week, I had to call them to get the status on my vehicle. Was told that my service representative was on another line and would call me back. This was on a Thursday at 9am. After no call back by the following Tuesday afternoon, I called again. Service representative was rude, and condescending. I guess as a female, he assumed he could talk to me that way. Ended up having to pay nearly $600 for a service that should've been covered. Spoke with the warranty company and was told that the charges that the dealership sent in were excessive for the parts and service that was provided, and that's why the entire amount wasn't covered. They overcharge, they're rude, they lack communication, and I do not recommend them to anyone looking for quality, friendly service. read more

I had been looking at ads for hybrid cars, but had not yet gone to test drive any. I was visiting a friend 300 miles from home and found a few to look at. I found the one I liked at AutoNation Chevrolet. The entire experience was the best I have had in 50 years of car buying. My salesperson, Andrae, was very customer service oriented, not sales oriented. His friendly, cheerful, no pressure approach was very refreshing. When he didn't have an answer to my questions, he immediately got the EV/Hybrid salesperson, Brandon, to answer my questions. Brandon took the time to answer my husband's questions over the phone. This low pressure atmosphere continued throughout the entire buying process. It was such an enjoyable experience that my friend, who was not in the market, also bought a car. In the end we both had fully detailed, mechanically and cosmetically, cars with full tanks of gas. At 71 years old, I may not be in the market for another car, but, if I am, I will make the 300 mile trip to shop here again. read more

did not buy because the sales associate sat april 28th (heavyset guy in his 50's that wears glasses) came across just condescending and clearly had no interest in actually making a sale. was more interested in talking about himself, and had the personality of a rock. the guy had a contentious attitide when asked about price comparisons w/o warranty and he became defensive and tensed up like he was getting angry. he seemed to hate his job. will never consider an autonation and went w carmax the next day. much better experience read more

They had set up an appointment for my fiancé and I to come in and look at vehicles at 8AM, we got there on time, apparently they don't open until 9AM though but thankfully the General Manager was there. He was super nice, started us out looking at a couple vehicles we were interested in, then when one of the reps got there around 8:30AM, he handed us off to the gentleman which was super smooth. They were both super helpful and loved the experience. Worked with us and our crazy schedule the for the day and we were done pretty quickly once everything had been set in motion. Come to find out that the vehicle was altered in the PTU. And they have told me that it is the buyers responsibility. That is a direct quote from the sales manager, Devon. They are great unless whatever car you bought has a problem. They are only expected to do a safety inspection. After that it's your problem. Biggest $27,000 mistake of my life. My wife and I are easy going, we don't ask for much beyond some common courtesy. AutoNation Chevrolet failed us, again. We took our vehicle in for repairs. The 4x4 made a metallic clank when engaging. The technician heard it, but because they couldn't tell what it was via the noise, it didn't need fixed. Because it didn't need fixed I was charged $155 diagnostic fee. Can you imagine trying to wrap your head around that? You heard something not normal, but wouldn't diagnose it any further because your ears couldn't distinctly pick out the problem? The customer service was a total disaster. We have the platinum warranty and thus expect our service to match. Our service manager called us once in 10 days, and only to tell us to return the rental car, the car we had to request after they had our car for 24 hours, platinum warranty dictates 4 hours and they're supposed to give us one. When we showed up after being told to be there, we had to wait another hour for them to do paperwork, and the only reason it took only an hour was because I got up to go check on it, our service manager didn't even come find us. Then he told us we owed $500 dollars, no warning, no explanations outside of your problems didn't need fixed, you know like my front differential hitting hard in 4x4. Then he got frustrated with our being upset, and threw my wife's keys across the counter at her and walked away quickly to avoid us confronting him. They gave me my vehicle with a low tire, that wasn't low when I took it in, and the paper work lists a complimentary car wash, it was just as dirty, but now with hand prints all over it. If you can't even do something as simple as return my car safely, and do a check list item on your paperwork, why should I trust you with anything else on my vehicle? I will never buy so much as a pack of 25 cent gum from AutoNation. I paid for my vehicle, I paid for my warranty, and now I pay for my mistake of buying a car from them. In case anyone from there reads this, the sale was a pretty good experience, your service department is awful. What made it even worse is that there was a service manager sitting there surrounded by little glass trophies by the dozen, with that much service excellence, you'd think some of it would carry over to your other team members. Or you think he'd care to help lead those with less trophies, in turn helping people from being swindled. My service manager and the indifference toward a problem you verified, but didn't want to look further into, cost me $500. Stay away from the AutoNation Chevrolet service department if you can't stay away from their vehicle lot. Its a den of indifference, swindling, and serves only as an example of how not to provide customer service. read more

In dealing with the service department. I called in advance and made an appointment - the EGR code they previously diagnosed but could not get parts for -I was bringing it back for that service since the oil was now due as well. I detailed what was needed. I left my key in the dropbox with a list of what was needed on the car. I emailed a reply to their email about my service appointment. When I received a text from my service department contact, I gave him the same list of things that were needed And none of them were done. Aside from the oil change and air filter so I again repeated what I brought it in for. They charged almost $200 for hooking it up to their computer to tell me what was wrong was what I told them was wrong, I had also told them again that the infotainment system needed an update so they charged me another $200 to hook it up to the computer for that too. I ended up spending about $500 on an oil change and air filter because they're quote for the EGR valve was $2400. And a two week wait and I had to pay in advance. Ignored other items on my request entirely as well. At this point I said no to that and went into pick up my car, I was sticker shocked with $520 when all was accomplished was an oil change and air filter and a software update. The service representative I dealt with was rather curt unapologetic and told me I was the one who refused service and they couldn't service it without diagnostics (like the EGR valve was going to improve?) He had a lot of in-house awards all around his workstation, so they appreciate and reward his disorganized, crap communication and curt demeanor. So, if you go to AutoNation Chevrolet expect to have a similar experience, they will quote you $1500 in labor to replace a $400 part $200 twice to hook it up to their computer to tell you that it's still bad just like last time when they didn't have one available to order. Highly recommend you find anywhere else for service, I have a deposit for a new Silverado EV that I will be canceling as a result of my experience with the service department. Based on this and the last time I went there for service - I don't understand how they have a star rating this high, seems highly overrated. read more

Let me start by saying that me and my wife are very easy to please. We work in customer service and know what it's like to deal with difficult people which is why we try not to be one of them. I want to put that out there first thing because it's easy to see bad reviews and think the customer was just difficult. Not the case at all, this place really is that bad. It all started when we saw a car (Mazda CX-5) on their website that we liked. Went down to check it out and was told they didn't have that in stock. I pulled up the listing on my phone and showed it to them and they did some more searching. Turned out both the CX-5's they had were not available due to recall. I said then why is it even listed for sale on the website? They shrugged and said I don't know because they won't be available for quite awhile until we get the recall parts in and get it fixed. I should've walked out right then but I got sucked in and agreed to look at some other options. The salesmen themselves were nice, not too pushy and don't negotiate on price (supposedly it's "fixed" because negotiating makes people uncomfortable). I actually like negotiating but the car was decently priced as it is so we agreed to buy. After the test drive and credit check we were taken over to another building at about 6 to do the financing. I asked how long it would be and was told hopefully we'd be out by 9(!!!). And it did take that long. It isn't until you wait around FOREVER for the paperwork to get done that you get the push for the extended warranties, etc... I was so tired and hungry by that point I agreed to the warranty because cars can have issues and I had 60 days to cancel. I should mention we had also traded a car. I decided to take it back the next day because of sentimental value (you have 3 days to change/cancel any part of the deal). They did give it back but 2 days later I got a call asking for the title to the trade-in. I told them no we took it back from you guys and gave the trade-in $ back. The next day I get ANOTHER call asking for the title. I told them to get on the same page and again repeated what I told the other rep. I ended up changing my mind on the extended warranty as well because the mfr one still had a ton of time left. Called to cancel and was told I had to deal with the finance manager (I know why, it's so they can try to talk you in to keeping it). Left a message and never heard back. I emailed the sales mgr my request to cancel and he said he'd forward it on to the finance mgr (ugh!). I ended up receiving a call later that day from Autonation but it wasn't even about any of this. It was a salesmen asking if I had put a deposit on a van (WHAT??). I literally laughed out loud and said I've been waiting for a call from financing and instead I get a call that isn't even for me, how is the communication so terrible there. He apologized and quickly hung up. After 3 days of nothing from financing I called the sales manager myself and he agreed to just email me a cancel form because of the headache. I sent it back and he said it went through but takes 6-8 weeks for refund. We'll see what happens there. Fast forward to today, 36 days after the purchase and I realized I never got a call for the permanent license plates and the temporary one expires in 6 days. I called and was told "if you haven't gotten a call yet then it's not in and we get them in all the time so it should be soon". I said no I think something is wrong because it's been over a month. I get transferred to somebody else and it turns out they've been sitting at Autonation MAZDA (didn't even buy the car there) this WHOLE TIME and nobody called me. Un.believable. I'll go pick up my plates this weekend and be done with this place. The only reason they even gets 2 stars is because the sales manager was somewhat helpful and we love the car. But the time and effort it took to get to anything done post-sale and the unbelievable lack of communication along the way isn't worth anyone's attempt to buy a car here even if its a great car and amazing deal. I can't even imagine what dealing with their repair center is like -_- read more

My sales experience was terrific and my finance guy was great! The service department on the other hand is a joke and has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I recommend you buy the the premium warranty and pay the higher deductible at another service shop and avoid this place all together. And don't bother trying to talk with management or the GM it gets nothing fixed or accomplished , just trust me when i say there are many small local honest service shop in Spokane who would love to earn your business so stay away from Auto nation Chevy! read more

I'm disappointed with the service. I received post cards for two recalls for my 2012 Traverse. I called to make an appointment, but was told that they would call me back when the parts came in. I didn't receive a call, but in the meantime, received another postcard about a recall, prompting me to call again. I made an appointment, which I showed up for on time. The service department was busy and I was told that my car would be ready by 330. My husband end up waiting for the car from 330-5pm. They fixed one recall having to do with the airbags, but we were told that they needed to order the part for the seatbelt recall issue. When I made the appointment, I was told that they were ordering the parts. It is very inconvenient to bring my car back in, possibly to be without it for another day from 1130a-5pm. read more

Each time I have a poor experience here, I realize how much I missed the service at my old Chevrolet dealer. I've had a few sub-par experiences here, but I kept going back because it was a more convenient location. My first experience was a price gouging for two replacement OEM tires. I understand a profit margin is important, but the markup was unreasonable. After I politely declined their quote, the price came down substantially. I asked them to save one of the old tires in the trunk. It wasn't saved, and I didn't realize it until I got home. I attempted to reach my service tech on multiple occasions and never received a call back. They did attempt to make this right, however, with a courtesy loaner during recall work + complimentary tire rotations. Thank you for this. Today, I went in to get a simple tire rotation and oil change. I received a few emails from these folks advertising the $39.99 special. I figured that since they sent it to me directly via their service program, they would honor it without the need to print coupons that state "Everyday Value Price". However, when i showed up and offered to pull it up on my phone, they declined to offer me the discount and proceeded to rattle off how the oil change is $50, the tire rotation is $15, etc. I stopped them after she mentioned the first two prices stunned at the cost as it sounded like there was more coming. Perhaps this is my mistake as I should have printed off the coupon. I asked the service tech to cancel the appointment and left. I called Camp Chevrolet to ask if i could come in for the same service, but I didn't have the coupon printed. They offered to print it for me. Parker Toyota provides excellent service as well. I'm hopeful that Autonation Chevrolet will take some cues from their competition. A pleasant service experience leads to more car sales and service in the future. read more

Very disappointed. I went here because I found a vehicle that I liked online. We did the test drive and went forward with the deal. They said we were approved through STCU and had us sign paperwork. The next day they had us bring in our tax returns. Then the following day had us come in to sign new paperwork. Turns out STCU declined us so they approved us through autonations financing. The interest rate doubled and the payment went up over $100 more if we wanted to keep the added protection for the vehicle. If I would have known this was going to be the interest rate and payment on the first day I would have not gotten the vehicle. Can't wait until I can refinance my loan and have nothing to do with them. read more

I completely see why this has one star. They play the typical make you wait game, almost an hour just to get my car appraised because they asked me to come in. I know my car is highly sought after and I know how much it's worth. Getting low balled by a dealership is common but this bad is just a slap in the face. They take all day to put your paperwork together to purchase a car (literally!!)...and then try to hide hidden fees, charge you for warranty's you expressively said no to, give your crap deals on your trade in, oh and get this one....charge you more then your actually pay off amount on your trade in!!!
