I was traveling from over 350 miles away to purchase a used vehicle "sight unseen" so it would have been a real bummer had they miss-represented the vehicle over the phone. In the past I have always been wary of dealerships and car lots when looking for a used vehicle, so this was a very pleasant surprise. I haven't found fault with the service, but Service Advisor Daniel is a mess. It's just one problem after another with his complete lack of communication skills. Example, after a week, I called him to check on my truck and he said, "OH, it was ready last week." You'd think Corwin Ford would want their $2k in a timely manner, but Daniel failed to call day after day while it collected dust in the parking lot. Daniel does not respond to text messages. Daniel, quite frankly, was a whiny little child at pickup time from the truck nursery. I'm the customer, not the customer service advisor. I'm not your mommy who's going to tell you all your mistakes are okay and you're a good boy. The "follow up" call from Daniel today was just more of the same whining, asking me to tell him all his deficiencies again bc he forgot how bad his service is. Daniel, I already gave you my feedback in person - you didn't need to call and ask me what you did wrong again today. I had zero intention of posting feedback publicly, but you need somewhere you can look back and remember what went wrong and not ask me a third time. Complete liars. Brought my truck in last year due to sputtering engine, spent 10k replacing cam shaft etc, and surprise, same symptoms today. Called today to find the best course of action and dealership says they were never able to diagnose the sputtering/non running condition and that I paid for a new cam to eliminate noise on startup. Really? Who would spend that kind of money to eliminate a noise on startup? I wouldn't trust them to fix a matchbox car. Save your time and go somewhere else! read more

Corin Ford Spokane Valley could care less if you kill someone with your faulty brakes. Scary huh? I come in last November for a recall on my master brake cylinder. The part that they put in for the recall failed on the way home almost causing a red light accident . I had it towed back in the next day and they said the part they put on was bad and would be ready in January , now I'm hearing it's gonna be past September before the parts available. I will spend every single day of my life telling people not to go to here. i've spent over $6000 in car payment since November for a non-running truck. They let me leave their dealership with my truck in the situation where I could've killed myself or someone else on the way home. The last review I left, The general manager said that he would help me if I needed help and they won't even patch me through to him for the last few months. do not have any recalls fixed at Corwin Ford.... And if you have your brakes done there, have someone else check it before you go home so you don't get put situation where you could kill someone. Went to Corwin last summer for my 100k mile service on a 2013 F-150. I asked them to give it a complete look and they said the only issue was the rear brakes were about half life and almost low. Fast forward to June this year. I'm moving overseas and went to Ford to see how much they would give me to sell the truck out right. I figured having been a loyal Ford customer would have afforded some loyalty. Couldn't have been more wrong. I was sitting in the sales room by the window and could see exactly when they drove my truck off for a test drive. The service guys were out for all of five minutes and came in to speak to the salesperson. In those 5 minutes, they apparently diagnosed an exhaust manifold issue, differential issue, cupped tires, and offered my $10k. I had already mentioned I had an offer from Carmax for $14k and thanked them for wasting my time. None of the issues were true. The tires were only 2 year old off road tires that were in almost new condition and the other issues they claimed could not have been diagnosed in a 5 minute drive without even looking at the vehicle. There also has never been a leak of any kind. Ended up consigning my RV and that salesman asked if I was selling my truck because he had a friend in the business that may be interested. It was a salesman from Dishman Dodge and they paid me $17k for the truck. I had lost a little faith in Corwin last summer when they refused to grant a 10% off all service and labor coupon I had received for the 100k mile service. They claimed it only applied to the oil change and beat me around the bush for a couple months before I was able to get a free oil change which was equivalent to the savings. This latest experience was the end. I no longer live in Spokane but I can tell you where I would be sending my business and it isn't Corwin. Shady at best and made things up entirely to lower offer. Unbelievable. If you are in Spokane, take your business elsewhere. read more

We recently purchased a 2006 Acura MDX from Corwin Ford for our 18-year-old daughter. We went back to Corwin because we have bought from them before and trusted them. During the test drive, we noticed the steering felt unusually stiff during turns and specifically asked questions about it, including whether fluids had been checked. We did not receive a clear answer. Shortly after leaving the dealership, the vehicle began making significant noises during turns that were not obvious during the test drive. We contacted the dealership multiple times by phone and email over several days trying to discuss the issue. When the manager finally returned our call, the conversation was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening to our concerns or showing any willingness to help, he immediately became defensive, accused my husband of lying, and repeatedly stated, "You signed 5 pieces of paper." We fully understand the vehicle was sold "as is," and we are not disputing that. What was upsetting was the dismissive attitude and complete lack of professionalism in handling a legitimate concern that arose almost immediately after purchase. We understand older used vehicles can develop problems, but customer service still matters. We came into this purchase excited to buy a vehicle for our daughter, and unfortunately the experience afterward left us feeling misled and disrespected. I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a used vehicle from Corwin Ford pay for an independent inspection before signing paperwork. Service is a joke. I called on 18 Feb 2025 to get an appointment to check my new 2024 Ford Ranger. I was told to bring my vehicle in on 25 Feb 2025 for an issue with our radio/infotainment module. We were having intermittent service with AM/FM and Sirius. After having a negative experience with another Ford dealership, I thought that this might be different--WRONG!!!!! I brought the vehicle in as agreed only to be met by the person that does the electronic repairs/testing. He told both me and my wife that he was not sure why we brought our vehicle in as it was going to take him 2-3 weeks to get to our vehicle. When the service representative came back he said that our radio was working just fine as it had FM clearly. After trying to explain to him 3 times (again) what the issue was, his attitude was that we should be thankful that AM/FM was currently working. Upon leaving he told me that he thanked me for my service as he was a combat veteran. Stolen valor if I have ever seen it before. TL/DR: have purchased three vehicles from Corwin Ford. My dads F150 needed a quick and easy repair done. They would not entertain the possibility of getting the truck in and completing repairs without a 3-4 week wait. Took to Ray and Roy's they completed the repair that same afternoon. Avoid this place they really do not take care of their customers. I had a Ford F-150 that had the belt come off due to the power steering pulley breaking. (A repair that was relatively easy, but one I did not want to do myself) I took it to Corwin Ford in Spokane. What a horrible experience. The service department is not well marked and was difficult to find. My first stop on my hunt for the service department was at the service cashier window, I told her I needed to speak to someone about service. Her reply, "we are booked until August, it will be 3-4 weeks before anyone can get to it." I said ok, which way to the service advisors? She repeated they are booked, busy and it would be a month before they could get to it. I again said ok, which way should I go so I can speak to a service advisor? She pointed in the direction I should go to find service. I found the service advisors and spoke to one of them. I explained the problem, stated I understood they were busy, if I left my vehicle, would it be possible for them to maybe get to it without waiting 3-4 weeks? It is a pretty light repair..... he said he would check with someone and disappeared for about 20 mins. When he returned he said I could leave it, but they would not be able to look it over or begin work for 3-4 weeks. I shared my disappointment, and explained That I purchased a Ford Flex from Corwin Ford in Tricities, My wife and her son purchased vehicles from this Corwin location after it was acquired from Gus Johnson. I understood they are very busy but might it be possible to get to it in one or two weeks? My family had purchased three vehicles from them after all...? No dice. Can't get to it for 3-4 weeks. I tell them to pound sand. They have lost me as a customer, I will take my business to Foothills Ford or Wendle Ford in the future and encourage everyone I know to do the same. I was able to get the truck into Ray and Roy's in Spokane valley, that same afternoon, and they quickly and professionally did the repair that day even though they had a shop full of other vehicles. I called two weeks ago to get an oil change appointment. I've always paid $40 which was an agreement made with the car purchase. They could no longer honor that and the current price is $59, but it did include a tire rotation. I just put new tires on and did not need the rotation. The service advisor said the price would still be $59 regardless. When the service was complete the bill came to $69.30. He said the quoted price was just an estimate. So I'm updating this review for the 3rd time. (Original review 01JUNE22) TL;DR: A 50,000$ truck and they treat me like this? Avoid this dealership at all costs. Who knows how many of these reviews are honest after this stunt. What an absolute joke of a management team. Almost a month after the initial complaint, I am still completely ignored and tossed aside. Quick history: Ford emailed me about how my purchase went, I left an honest opinion that I felt neglected just because I had my own financing. That they rushed the detailing, and that it took multiple days to have the truck delivered. The GM of the store emailed me and said to let him know if he could help, I replied "I'd like to have my truck detailed again if possible" I was ignored for a week. Ford emailed me again and asked if the problem was resolved, I said no. GM emailed me again and said he "can probably fit me in, but would get back to me." Ignored a second time. So this morning I received a phone call from the sales rep and he wanted to help fix this (a month later). I said, "I'm not sure, I've got a pretty bad taste in my mouth from your dealership". Said he'd talk to the boss and get back to me. Calls me back about an hour later and says "the boss is hurt and that the damage is done, but If you delete the comment or change it to a 5 star review they'll detail my truck for me". Really? An entire month later and you're asking me to change my review for a service you should have done in the first place? To hell with this dealership. I have now uploaded pictures of how sloppy the detailing was done. They didn't clean anything under the hood, left dust, crumbs, and soda stains in every cup holder, I found a bullet casing and a nail in the center console. I limped on in to Corwin Ford at 4:20 pm, and Jere got my car in for a look to make sure I would not be stranded somewhere. He then arranged for Corwin Ford to rent me a car to send me on my way, and then helped me arrange another rental to get back to Oregon. I was out the door and on my way in under 1.5 hours! I bought my most recent car through them and it has been great. Josh B. was a very friendly salesman that walked us through everything and made buying a car a breeze. I ended up buying a different car than I had in mind but I am so happy with my purchase. When it came to scheduling an appointment for an oil change the girls at the front desk that are supposed to schedule appointments didn't know what they were doing. They couldn't answer my warranty questions or even scheduling questions as I was hoping to come in on the weekend. However, after calling back a few times I got ahold of Jeff and he was great. He answered all my questions and made sure everything was squared away when we arrived. When they took my car into service it they did great and worked efficiently even for a Friday afternoon. The sales team were awesome - the purchase process was one of the smoothest I have ever been through (and I've been through a few to say the least). As someone who might be classified as a "serial car purchaser" (I average a new / additional vehicle every few years), the staff at Corwin Ford were both easy to communicate with and prompt in addressing any questions or concerns. They offered me a very fair value for my trade-in and the purchase process was nearly hassle free. I know the hype around the big dealerships is "big pressure" - but that is nothing at all what I experienced. I would highly recommend visiting Corwin Ford in Spokane Valley if you are considering upgrading or adding to your fleet! Also - while they might seem like one of the "big guys" they are still family owned and call the PNW home... that counts for a lot in my mind. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We took my Ford F-150 in for diagnosis/estimate. We were told one price on the phone, another price when we brought it in and then it was another $20 after pickup for "shop supplies". I guess every customer gets charged this even when all they do is plug the truck in, as the service tech told us "to cover the charge of the plastic and floor mats". Yet they forgot to give us those. When we first brought it in the sales manager also just diagnosed the truck for us without looking at it because he "really knows what he's talking about with these trucks". Well turns out he was wrong, they also told us things were broken that clearly aren't. We were treated very poorly, they are very pushy, and over charge for service. This isn't my first issue with the Corwin Ford Service Department. On my first appointment with them two months ago, the service attendant never returned my voicemail. I took my vehicle in this morning and began the check in process with the same service attendant. She asked me questions about my vehicle and it appeared she was checking me in. I'm sitting there waiting in front of her desk for 20 minutes and she then says to her coworker that she is unable to log into her computer. Another five minutes goes by and I asked her coworker if he can check me in. His response was that he was unaware I hadn't been checked in yet, but says he is busy doing something else and will be back shortly. Another service attendant that had not been in the area comes in and begins to help me. I explain my frustrations with the original service attendant, and he begins to blame me for not being checked in promptly enough, stating that I should have asked for another check in person rather than the service attendant requesting someone else to help me once she realized her computer wouldn't work. This is the last time I will go to Corwin Ford. Mike White Ford in Coeur D'Alene was so much better with customer service. read more
