happen. I purchased my Ford Maverick on April 27, 2026. The transaction itself was very smooth, and I'd give my salesperson, Josh, 5 stars. He was young but very pleasant and easy to work with. As far as buying the car went, everything went smoothly. The issues began after that day. While I was there, I called my bank to get the payoff numbers and wrote everything down: the bank's name, address, phone number, account number, payoff amount, and daily per diem. These figures were all prior to a payment that was due the following week, which was fine, since my bank would eventually reimburse me. A week later, my salesperson contacted me to say they might need the payoff information again. At that point, I sent him a screenshot with all of my banking details, including my account number and the bank's mailing address. After two weeks, I checked my account to see whether the loan had been paid off, and it hadn't. I followed up, and was eventually given the name of someone in the accounting department to handle the situation. After looking into it, he told me they had sent the payoff to the wrong bank because they'd pulled the wrong address online. I asked how that could happen when I had sent a screenshot with the exact information needed. I never got an answer, only that he would get it handled. Getting it resolved was the priority, but I still don't understand how they could send a check on my behalf to whatever bank a quick online search turned up. I sent him the same banking screenshot, and to his credit he followed through and resolved it, though it took 30 days from the date of purchase to get my loan paid off. In the meantime, I was about to make another payment on a vehicle I no longer owned. On top of that, the amount they paid off was not the payoff figure I gave them, but that amount minus my payment, roughly $450 less than what we'd agreed on. As I said, the purchase was the easy part. But how can a company handling your finances be this careless? They sent the payment to the wrong place, didn't act on it until I pushed (apparently not a priority once the car was sold), and paid about $450 less than agreed because the payoff amount had changed. My strong advice if you do business with them: get everything in writing, wait until everything is fully completed before posting your review, and if you have a loan payoff, watch your account closely to make sure they follow through in a timely manner. read more

Asked the Auto Nation Ford Canton Service Dept for a quote on my Bronco Sport for a 20k checkup. They came back with a price of $919. Unbelievable. The 20k checkup consists of an oil change/tire rotation and checking other things on the vehicle. So needless to say, I'm taking my vehicle to another Ford Dealer in Canton whose quote was about $150. They have been high on servicing the vehicle each time I have taken it in. read more

Made an appt days in advance for service explaining what needed to be done - they did not order parts ahead of time, they could not locate my warranty, waited 2 1/2 hours and asked what was taking to so long - they said they were waiting for the warranty to be verified! I was there at 7:30am and was first in line, waited 5 hours total for a simple brake job. I had to lose half a day of work. Reached out for maintenance and tires for a newer vehicle they wouldn't provide me an estimate on tires without scheduling an appointment so I scheduled an appointment. Then I was told a service advisor would reach out later that day or early next morning for tire brand and pricing I didn't hear anything by 1 so I called and left a message with receptionist they said I would hear from them shortly. 5:30 pm no phone I'm supposed to drop off 7 am next morning I had a feeling there would be no tires so I canceled. I took my truck there to get transmission fixed,charged me $2700 for module to be replaced.when I took the truck the shift linkage was not working properly and the speedometer was jumping up and down, so I call them back on the way home and told them what was happening, and that I needed to take the truck to work and I would bring it back and they could fix it. I just wanted him to note it on the account. When I took the truck back to get it fixed, he told me that's nothing. They did his shift. Linkage was disconnected when they worked on the transmission but the service manager told me that wasn't even in the area we were working. Last time I checked the shifter control the transmission. I asked him about the speedometer Which has never had an issue. Oh that's jumping around because of the clutch fan and to replace it it's only 1600 more dollars and they'll fix the other stuff for me. What an insult to tell me that the shifter was nowhere near the transmission they worked on like everybody is stupid Never again will I take anything to these hacks? I'm going Monday to talk to the general manager which I'm sure I will get nowhere. Don't learn the hard way don't go to Ford AutoNation and after I pay the 2500 to fix the truck I went and bought a pick up truck from them the following day for 14,000 and this is how they treat you. read more

My wife purchased a new vehicle from salesperson AJ. I would give him a 5/10 during the buying process. We did not have much interaction with AJ as he was working other deals while dealing with us at the same time. We had heavy interaction with James in the finance department and Scott the general manager. We were misinformed with some information and the lack of communication after the deal was done leaves me to not be satisfied with our purchase. I have given the GM and the finance department a chance to correct the issue and nothing has been done This issue we are experiencing is definitely possible but it is totally up to the dealership and they have chosen to make a sale rather than doing the right thing and having good customer service. This place is shit. The way they handle the service department sucks. I have had my car for not even 1 year and 1/2 and they have had my car 3 times so far and currently still have it for what is coming up on month 3. The other 2 times they had it they had it for 1 month and 1/2 each time. The first time they replaced something, got my car back for not even a week and had to take it back because they messed something up while "fixing" the first problem. The second time it was in there needed a new transmission. This time, it needs a new engine. They've had it since May. It now being mid august and they still have it, and don't have parts. They never give me updates. They are very short on phone when asking questions, and somehow never have any rentals. Weird. Never go here. read more

Friend of mine got charged a $109 fee for them to tell her the tread was gone on tires they sold her with the car, and tried to sell her a "special" oil change because her car "sits too much" (it doesn't) -"they can tell by the mileage". I think the woman who books appointments there gets a bonus for every ridiculous service she sells. There's more- she got out of there paying more than $1000 for tires, oil change ( the "regular" kind) and windshield wipers. She declined the rest of the outrageous repairs. Really- aren't there enough legitimate car repairs (especially on a Ford) needed to keep them in business? Shame on them. Updating this a few days after I saw the "Owner response". While I'll admit their response looks very professional, It strikes me as pretty shallow. Hear me out - read it all before deciding. 1) No effort was made to reach me directly through the "private messaging" feature to resolve this. It's possible they just weren't familiar with it, but I think it's a little more likely that they just want it to look like they are responsive to feedback. 2) No General Manager's name was given, leading me to believe this is sort of a templated message some social media company uses for all negative reviews. 3) I called the number 4 days ago, asked for the GM, left a voicemail for him, and I have yet to hear back so far. Overall it was a pleasant experience. AJ was wonderful! Hands down one of the best salesmen I have ever dealt with. He didn't tag team us with someone else. Let us drive the car and another one without tagging along. Was fine when we wanted to take time and think for c an hour. Even let us take the car home overnight instead of finishing the paperwork so that we could eat dinner and rest. Very attentive but not smothering. Purchased a 2018 ford ecosport with 15,000k miles. It was a purchase for my mom. My sister went with her the first night and they both said how sweet he was. The only hiccup was it took a month after purchase find a vibration she could feel. They eventually put on a new set of tires but it definitely caused some frustration with her experience. However- the people in service were nice and friendly. The only lingering issue- they have no loaner cars. So each of the four times mom's car went into service she either drove mine or my sister's car. Would definitely use them again. read more

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I brought my car in here a few weeks ago to get serviced for an oil change, and they gave me a list of recommendations (New rear brakes, rear rotars, engine fluid flush, brake fluid flush) on top of the works package, which I did so, $800 later you would think my car would be running like new? FALES. I started feeling a shaking and grinding sound from the right passenger side. So I show the Service manager and he was even confused on what it was. So I drop it off again... A few days later I get the call from William to pick it up. Another $575 payment for this service. andddd the shaking and grinding continues.. SO now I'm upset because they charged me an arm and a leg, yet the issue is still there. I have a feeling this dealership does this to other customers too as this vehicle was running just fine before I even considered the oil change. Now here I am carless, which the dealership did not offer me a rental, they said they did not have any...What really pissed me off was when I was explaining my frustration to the service rep, William, there was an unproductive lady employee at the next kiosk over who appeared to be recording me on her phone for her own amusement or social media purposes. I would not recommend this dealership for anybody unless you are in to getting taken advantage of and being swindled for your hard earned money. read more

I called and spoke to a salesman in May 2020 with specifics we were looking for in a pickup. We had purchased 2 SUV's with Auto Nation. One in 2018 and another in 2019 for our daughter's. When my husband was looking for a truck we wanted to buy with this dealer. We never heard back from the salesman and bought a truck with Sarchione. I let it slide because it was during the beginning of Covid. Fast forward 2 years and my daughter and I were in the lot yesterday driving through to see if anything caught our eye and a salesman came out and we kindly said we were just looking. They have limited stock so there wasn't much to see. When we drove down another section a certain vehicle caught our eye but the salesman wasn't outside anymore so we drove off. I figured I would just look up the info on their site. The vehicle wasn't on there, so I called and spoke to the salesman that came out to the lot earlier. I told him which one and he said they just got it and he would get all the info on it and Call me back. 24 hours later and no call. No more! I will never do business here again. We took our f150 to have the breaks replaced. Not only did they do a horrible job and ruined the rotors that they were supposed to have replaced in the first place. That caused us to have have to how our truck towed on a flatbed back the next day. After months our breaks started shaking every time we pressed them. After taking to a different mechanic because clearly they don't know what they are doing. He refused to touch our truck he said AutoNation messed them up so bad. So we opted to take to a different Ford dealership because we refuse to let them work on any of our cars after seeing the poor workmanship. The service manager at AutoNation said it was faulty normal wear and tear. Which by how could they even say that not even seeing our truck? Two dealerships confirmed whoever did our breaks did NOT know what they are doing! They went and talked to the tech who was the one who screwed up our truck and shouldn't even be doing break jobs if that is the work he does. The general manager decided not to refund us since we took our vehicle to a different ford dealership to have all the work redone again in less than a year. We will never be back and I highly recommend not using their service dept. I would Ganley who fixed our truck properly. The customer service at Autonation was less than impressive as well! read more

This review is of the service department only. My husband and I bought a 2018 Platinum Explorer in January of 2019. Very smooth transaction, great salesman. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago (May 2022), I had been having several electrical issues. One issue being with the Ford app. I had tried having it fixed 2 years ago but didn't pan out. I had a brand new baby and it was the height of the pandemic so I didn't push it. My other issues had to do with my mirror not working and some of the sensors going off randomly for no reason. I brought my car in. Right off the bat my assigned service rep talked me out of getting the sensors checked because my extended warranty may or may not cover the expense of having them checked. I have the highest coverage possibly for my warranty. If electrical issues 3 years out with less than 50k miles on the car isn't covered there is a problem. Regardless of that I believe it is his job to check the coverage and then contact me so I can decide from there what I want. But instead I was scared into not having them checked because I might have had to pay for it. After settling on what I was getting fixed I was told that I would get a phone call that coming Monday (I dropped the car off on a Friday) with an update on my coverage & status as to when I would possibly get my car back. They were out of rentals so getting my car back was essential. Monday came and went. No phone call. Tuesday was the same. I called Wednesday and was told my rep was in a meeting & would call me back. He did about 15 minutes later to explain to me it was his day off and he couldn't give me an update that he would get back to me the following day. Needless to say that did not happen. Finally on Friday I was very upset by this time I had my husband call. He demanded an update. He was told that the wrong part was sent in and they were still waiting on the correct one. I definitely believe we should have been told before they had my car for a week what the situation was. My husband was able to get a time frame out of him as to when the car would possibly be ready. Which was the following Monday. He did call Monday afternoon to say the car was ready. We immediately came to pick it up. My rep had left already. I saw my keys sitting on his desk. I pointed them out to someone that had asked how he could help. He carried my paperwork to another rep. She then asked where my final paperwork was. My rep had said the paperwork wasn't ready but I could get the car anyway and he could mail it to me later. I told her as much and she said ok that's fine and handed me my keys. Now I'm wondering why my ID wasn't checked to verify who I was. I literally just walked out. 15 minutes later I get home and I notice a pad from my daughter's stroller is sitting in my front cup holder. Very odd because I know that pad was in my trunk when I dropped the car off. This peaks my curiosity. I check the trunk and what do you know. My daughter's stroller is not where I left it. It's gone. Infuriated I call my rep's direct phone line and leave a voicemail telling him about the missing stroller. I received no call back. I called a week later and I was directed straight to my assigned rep again. He scoffed at me when I told him the situation and then proceeds to tell me that he knows the tech that worked on my car doesn't have kids so he didn't take the stroller. I never accused anyone of stealing it. I assumed it was taken out for whatever reason and was simply misplaced. I just wanted the stroller back didn't really care what had happened. So he places me on hold after I insisted that it was in my car when I dropped it off. He said he checked the area my car was in but there was no stroller. Again I repeated myself. So he tells me the tech is gone for the weekend but he will ask him on Monday and then call me back. Well here we are about 2 weeks or so later and I haven't heard a thing nor have I gotten my paperwork. I will never bring my car to this dept. again. Terrible customer service from this rep that is the assistant manager of all things. So sad. read more

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the sales staff, and management, at this dealership. They were patient for the week I needed to get the credit union on the same page, and they even had it washed and prepped prior to arriving to pay. I didn't have to wait for a thing. I highly recommend James if you are needing any help with choosing the right vehicle. His knowledge and attention to detail will make your buying experience a positive one. I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on April 25, 2020, from AutoNation Ford North Canton for cash. After thoroughly test driving the car and finalizing the sale, I drove it off the lot and back home 2 hours away. I stopped for my mail and turned the car off. A few minutes later, I turned the car back on and it acted like it didn't want to turn over. I turned it immediately off and then back on and it started. When I arrived home a few minutes later, I turned the engine off and on a few times with this same thing happening almost every other time I tried starting the car. The next morning, I texted the salesperson Aaron, to tell him what was happening. He said I would need to return to their service department two hours away to have the car looked at. I explained that I did not feel safe driving the car two hours on the interstate. He said I could take it to a local Chevy dealer but would have to pay a $200 deductible even though I literally drove it off their lot the day before and there is a 90 day/4,000 mile warranty. I sent the General Manager of this AutoNation an e-mail explaining the circumstances and he replied back that unfortunately, I didn't purchase any of the additional warranties they offered to sell me, and sometimes used cars are unpredictable and maybe the car just needed a fuel treatment. What? I just bought it the day prior. Shouldn't all of this been checked before someone bought the car? I took the car to a local Chevy dealer, paid the $125 diagnostic fee, which I shouldn't have had to pay since I just purchased the car, and they told me the timing chain was off, had recently been messed with and not fixed correctly, and someone tried painting over the markings. After many e-mails back and forth between myself, the General Manager at AutoNation Ford North Canton, and the Service Manager at my local Chevy dealer, Scott Heid at AutoNation, decided to pay for the timing to be repaired on the car they just sold me. A few days later, the Engine Overheat AC Shutting Off light on the dash came on and I had to call Roadside assistance to check it. Luckily, they said it was just a short and the car was okay to drive. Yesterday, when I turned the key in the ignition, the car, again, acted like it didn't want to start. I turned it off and back on, and the car started fine. I turned the engine off, and the car vibrated and acted like it didn't want to shut off. This morning when I started the car the check engine light came on. At this point, I don't even know what to think. I am taking the car to a garage and having it looked over so they can tell me everything that is wrong with it. I'm sure I will have to pay for whatever is wrong, even though the car is still within the 90 days/4,000 mile warranty. I am completely fed up with AutoNation Ford North Canton dealership, feel like they don't stand behind their used car warranty unless you purchase the additional warranties they try and sell you, avoid your phone calls and e-mails, are shady and dishonest, and sell used cars that should not be sold and are not road worthy. read more

I found a car I was very much interested in. The website had clear, detailed photos of the car which put my mind at ease. My 20 yr old son bought his first truck at Auto Nation. Thr truck was full of problems. We tried to take it back for service. 2 days after the purchase and they said there was nothing wrong and would not fix the gas leak and other problems. So we took it to my mechanic and they had to replace the gas tank, fix the E brake cable that was missing and repair a leaky seal in the timing chain cover. $1500 with of repairs for a college kid. I purchased a 2011 Mazda3 from Autonation Ford last week. Overall, I'm pleased. I think that I got a great price & the finance team was very patient. My salesperson, Michael Bond, was very pleasant. The only thing I'm not pleased with is the cleanliness of the car. When I purchased the car, Michael explained that it had just come in on trade, and they hadn't had a chance to clean it yet. We set a date and time for me to bring it in so that it could be ionized & detailed. I left it in their hands for a full 24 hours, but when I picked it up, it was still filthy. I showed Michael the nicotine stains on the front visors and map light. I thought maybe they were stains, so I (grossly) gave it a spit shine - the stuff will come right off. Michael looked disappointed & assured me that when I take it in for a complimentary car wash they will take care of it then. I want to believe him, but I'm really disappointed. I want to show off my new car, not apologize for the mess! So I've got my windex and my Clorox wipes & I'm off to clean my car! My advice would be to buy cars from these folks, but make sure it's clean to your satisfaction before you leave the lot - and I would never pay them a penny to detail your car. Just an update - the day after my initial review, I got a call from Michael to let me know that someone had scraped the bumper of my car while it was in. I took it back, and the body shop did a really good job painting the bumper - so, some kudos there for honesty & the body shop. I had been assured by the service manager that my car would also be cleaned & ionized again. I believe it was ionized, and that it was vacuumed & the dash was wiped down. I purchased my last 2 cars from Park in green, & they were immaculate. I might be spoiled, but I'm still disappointed by their cleanup. I am very mixed on rating Autonation because of their Service Dept pricing. The company overall has some great things and some less than desirable things about them. I purchased 2 new Ford Focuses from them and I like their sales people and managers and the guys in the Service dept. They hirer pretty personable people. However, watch out for the typical, super inflated, dealership, service department outrageous pricing. I picked up a nail in my tire and they charge a base rate of $30 for a tire to be patched. With all their little add-ons, I dished out about $37 to have the tire patched. That is outrageous! For a patch, you should pay $15-20 max. My suggestion for tire and battery items, go to Sears. I would stay away from Autonation Service dept for anything other than Warranty work. read more

I am a veteran starting my own business and set up a vendors license with the state. The business I am doing is Transportation Services. Under this per state law I would not pay sales taxes because we collect on every job we do. The General manager Brian Gilmore would not follow the state law and stated that he just bought his wife a new car and had to pay taxes. He also voiced his option that Uber drivers should not be exempt. So he would not sell me the vehicle. I already have my loan with USAA.
