I purchased a brand new car in cash ($53,000) coming from an out-of-state dealer. I paid $2000 to have the Jeep delivered to AutoNation here in AZ. They told me it could take up to a week to 10 days. I contacted AutoNation multiple times during the delivery period for ETA updates. They kept assuring me of a specific date for delivery. In the meantime, I was going to be transferring my current plates to the new vehicle when it arrived and trade-in my vehicle. They took the title from me and removed my plates/registration from my vehicle. I was pulled over for driving an unregistered vehicle and received a ticket. I called them immediately and they did nothing to rectify the situation. An hour before I was to pick up my new Jeep, they texted me and said it was NEVER PICKED UP for delivery almost 2 weeks ago. Then they promised to get another company to pick it up the next day and expedite the delivery in 4 days. The next day, it was not picked up and they said it would be over another week. I suggested they could fly me to the location and I would drive my vehicle back myself; they said they would but not pay for gas or lodging. And then said I had to pay for the airfare myself and they would reimburse me from the delivery fee that I paid in the first place for after I returned. I have the bank statement showing they cashed my $53,000 check 10 days ago, and they will not cut me a check back until they check if they money is cleared, then it would take time to process; meanwhile, I've also been told they could write the check same-day. They are now being more rude and unprofessional, saying they have other customers - this customer has been waiting for her new car, gotten a ticket (over $200 for traffic school), ended insurance on current vehicle and purchased insurance for the new car that never came, they are in possession of the title of my current vehicle that was to be a trade-in and they have not given my title back to me.... The worst car buying experience I have ever had. Two days ago, we came to purchase a car, and we were told it wasn't here and was being repaired, so we left. Today, we called to confirm and spoke with an employee named Oscar, who assured us the car was ready. We drove 40 minutes--which I had mentioned over the phone--and after arriving, we were told again that the car wasn't here and was still in repair. When we asked why this wasn't checked beforehand, and why we were made to come all this way, wasting our time, we were met with a dismissive attitude and brushed off. I brought my car in last week because it was over-heating. It took them 7 days to let me know that the radiator cap needed replacing and that it supposedly wasn't covered under my warranty. He mentioned several times how terrible my extended warranty coverage was. The quote to repair was $900. This was just to replace the RADIATOR CAP and to retest it. I declined the service after learning that it was just a radiator cap that was needed. They still ended up charging me $300! Picked up the car and went and purchased a radiator cap at the auto parts store for $16 and installed it myself. Car runs great. DO NOT GO HERE - Worst customer service ever. read more

I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience. I initially test drove a 2015 Jeep with fewer than 76,000 miles on Wednesday. At the time, I was informed that the vehicle required a motor mount replacement. Despite that issue, I liked the vehicle and left a deposit with the understanding that the repair would be completed before delivery. When I returned on Thursday to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that the repair had not yet been completed, so pickup was rescheduled for Friday. I arrived on Friday at 3:00 PM to complete the paperwork, only to find the Jeep still on the lift being worked on. I expressed that I did not feel comfortable signing paperwork until I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle again and confirm the repair was completed properly. However, after waiting several hours, I ultimately signed the paperwork around 5:00 PM without being able to conduct a second test drive. Upon leaving the dealership, I immediately noticed several concerns: * The vehicle had almost no fuel. * Only one key fob was provided. * The trunk rubber mat was missing. * There was no washer fluid or power steering fluid. * The engine grounding strap had not been reconnected after the motor mount repair. * There were loose nuts/bolts under the hood. Due to the inconvenience and delay, I was assured that a replacement key fob would be provided at no additional cost. Shortly after driving the vehicle on the highway, I experienced additional issues, including knocking beneath the floorboard, pulling while driving, and shaking at higher speeds. I promptly reported these concerns to the salesman and provided photos of the issues I had identified under the hood. Based on feedback from individuals familiar with vehicle repairs, I suggested the possibility of suspension or tie rod-related issues. The dealership asked me to return the Jeep for inspection and repairs. The vehicle remained with them for approximately 2.5 days. When I picked it up, I was informed that the issue was simply an unbalanced tire. However, the additional concerns I raised were not addressed. Before leaving the dealership, I advised the salesman that the original issues were still present. I was told to "give it 24 hours" and follow up if the problems continued. The issues did continue, resulting in multiple follow-up conversations regarding another repair appointment and the possibility of a loaner vehicle while my Jeep was being serviced again -- only days after purchase. Eventually, the dealership agreed to pick up the vehicle from my workplace, which is approximately four miles away. After the second inspection, I was told the issue had been caused by a loose bolt and that the vehicle should now be operating properly. It has now been more than 30 days since my purchase, and I still have not received the promised replacement key fob or trunk mat. Despite contacting the dealership multiple times each week, communication has been inconsistent and vague, with responses such as "I hope so," "Maybe," or "I'll find out." I was also told on multiple occasions that a technician would contact me to arrange key fob programming at my home or office. However, none of the proposed appointments were ever confirmed, and I was never contacted. Most concerning is the fact that I requested several times for a manager to contact me regarding these ongoing issues, and I have yet to receive any response. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing purchasing experience. The ongoing lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and failure to fulfill commitments have left me with little confidence in the dealership's customer service or professionalism. They are in the business of wasting people's time that's for sure. They reached out to me after I submitted an appraisal for my car through kbb. They initially offered me a number that was too low for me which I rejected. They messaged me a couple of days later with a higher number stating kbb value for my car went up. I accepted it and made an appointment. After going in, they offered me the same low offer they did the first time and tried to claim there was something about the condition of the car I didn't put in the appraisal. When I pointed out the fact that I actually did, they "went to check" and came back and acknowledged it, but still refused to give me the second offer and could not even tell me who made me that offer. Even though they did say it was one of them that did. They just "Didn't know who". Seems Like they lie to people just to bring them in, in hopes that they accept a lower offer after making the drive. My wife and I sold our car to Autonation USA Phoenix location on March 23, 2025, as of today, May 21, 2025, we have not received the $15,000 payment for our vehicle, even though they advertise "SAME DAY PAYMENT", "WALK AWAY WITH CASH IN HAND", "GET PAID THE SAME DAY. NO HASSLES", "GET PAID QUICKLY, ON THE SPOT", "SECURE PAYMENTS: CHOOSE ZELLE FOR INSTANT, RELIABLE PAYMENTS." While we have not received our payment, they have however already sold our vehicle and received their payment. I would assume selling our vehicle was actually "NO HASSLE" considering we had a clean and clear title in hand when selling to Autonation. I would highly recommend steering clear of this dealership unless you plan on giving your vehicle away for free or enjoy having our money stolen. On a sidenote, almost 3 weeks after selling our vehicle we did receive a check from Autonation, however the check was for $25,000 and belonged to someone else. Instead of voiding the check Autonation asked us to kindly return the check to them overnighted through Fedex, which we also paid for out of pocket. When purchasing, our salesman told us they couldn't schedule with the service department because it was the weekend. They said they would call Monday to schedule. Monday comes. No call. We called back on Wednesday and spoke to our sales person and asked to schedule the windshield repair. He said he would talk to the service department and they would reach out to us to schedule. What a relief! My check engine light blinked on so I called AutoNation to make an appointment. I had no idea they could come to my house to check my Fiat. Saban, the kindest mechanic I've ever met, arrived on time and quickly hooked up the scanner to find he problem. What a relief! It was only an old nonairtight gas cap. He drove back to the shop to pick up a new replacement gas cap and installed it quickly. His scanner turned of the check engine signal and all is well again. My Mopar app selected this dealership for my prepaid oil and filter change on my Ram 1500 Diesel.. so after their website booking wouldn't work, I called, spoke to a nice lady and BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT. Now, when I book an appointment, I take that to mean that a window is being reserved in the schedule around that time time to work on my vehicle. Especially when I confirm that I will be waiting for it. I get a text this morning to confirm my appointment and it doesn't work.. Later this morning, I get an email to confirm my appointment, guess what? That doesn't work either.. So, I roll up at 13:45 for my 14:00 appointment... and sit in the queue waiting. When the 'Service Advisor' gets around to me, he informs me that it will be two or more likely three hours before my vehicle gets worked on and expresses surprise that I was planning on waiting... well what else was I going to do? Actually I WAS planning on wandering over to their sales office as they had a Ram 2500 I was considering buying, however I digress. So, I express my surprise at this information and ask him what is the point of making an appointment if I'm still going to have to wait three hours? He glibly informs me that the 'appointment' is 'to see the Service advisor'... I purchased a Jeep Renegade from the Jeep AutoNation behind it back in January. It was a nightmare working with the management and salesperson at this location. Don't do it. Everyone is so incompetent. I even told the management that they have the dumbest people on payroll. I recommend working with a Toyota or Chevy Autonation dealership in the valley. They can bring any car from this location to theirs so you can avoid the most time consuming, head hurting, and worst possible experience of your life. We purchased a van from this location. On our way home we noticed the horn doesn't work, then the air bag light came on. We returned to the dealership only to get hours of our day stolen away from us and we got nowhere with getting any kind of help from them. We had to come back 2 more times before they ordered the parts to fix and then before we could come back again to have the part installed a car hit us head on and we had no air bags to help protect us in the accident.
