The car they sold me has had the transmission rebuilt, rear axel rebuilt, transfer case motor replaced, injectors replaced, and is currently sitting at ford waiting for the engine to be taken apart and rebuilt because i got the oil changed at the dealership and then it blew up. I normally do not leave reviews unless I have had either an exceptionally great experience or a terrible one. In this case, it was the latter. I purchased a Nissan Titan from Overstock. During the purchase process, I was offered an extended warranty for an additional $3,000, which seemed reasonable. I was also charged $300 for what was supposed to be a final multi-point inspection and detailing service. I was told the brake pads had been replaced during the inspection. The salesman also stated that the GM had personally driven the truck for about a week because he did not have a vehicle at the time, and he described it as a good truck in good condition. After the sale was completed, the truck was shipped from the Phoenix location to me in Nashville. That part of the process actually went smoothly. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill quickly. When the truck arrived, it was obvious it had not been detailed despite being charged for it. The interior had what appeared to be dog hair throughout and a strong odor. Within a day or two of driving it, I noticed the A/C was not functioning properly. I genuinely do not understand how this was missed considering the truck had supposedly been driven in Phoenix heat and had allegedly undergone a "multi-point inspection." Looking through the paperwork afterward, I also found signed documentation stating the vehicle would have functioning A/C, which should be expected on a $25,000 purchase regardless. I contacted the dealership and informed them of the issue. After speaking with management, I was told to have the A/C inspected by a shop, but specifically not to take it to Nissan because it would be too expensive. I explained that most shops charge diagnostic fees, often around $200 or more. Their response was essentially to try and find someone who would do it for free. Then they suggested I use the extended warranty I had just purchased to cover the repair, even though this appeared to be a pre-existing issue that should have been caught before the sale. At that point, the responsibility was effectively shifted onto me. Eventually, I was told to take it to Nissan after all because it would become a deductible claim. I did. The truck was there for several days, and I had to use Uber to get to work during that time. In the end, I paid the deductible and transportation costs out of pocket and submitted receipts totaling approximately $190. Nearly three weeks later, I finally received a reimbursement check. The problem? Everything on the check was filled out except the amount. When I contacted them, even the salesman seemed confused and said this "normally doesn't happen." I was told another check would be mailed, but I still have not received it. Also, I have still not received my permanent plate. I'm not sure they have even mailed that in. The overall experience felt disorganized from start to finish. Between being charged for services that did not appear to be completed, dealing with issues immediately after delivery, and having to handle most of the repair process myself, this purchase became far more frustrating than it should have been. My advice: do your homework and shop carefully before buying here. My experience left me wishing I had spent my money elsewhere. This was an absolute nightmare and clown show. read more

I've been looking into buying a new car for about two months now I called them with interest on the car and offered a cash price and they told me they would talk to their general manager and call me back within 10 minutes and they never got back to me. Absolutely horrible service I called again and tried talking to someone different and they said oh don't worry about it. We'll call you back in about 10 minutes. And again they never got back to me. ****WARNING*****This place is horrible and it should be avoided at all costs. They shipped a used car to me with a broken mirror, broken midgate, and no floor mats (none of this was communicated). I reached out over and over again and they just gave me the run around. This was ridiculous but the reason everybody should stay away is the fact that these guys are selling dangerous vehicles. Before I even got through a tank of gas I had to purchase 4 new tires because the tires they shipped my vehicle out blew out and were too worn out to repair. I bought a truck from this dealership on 02/19/2024. During the finance process I was given a "WE OWE" document and was told the dealership would take care of scheduling the windshield replacement. I came in this lot because they had a gorgeous green charger for a great price. I offered a trade in and paying all in cash. Alec and his manager had a very hard time keeping me up to date. Not only did they quote me for the wrong car, but they would not give me the correct VIN number to look up the car fax, nor was it listed on their site which is fishy to me. We looked at a Black Daytona which was given to them days after we looked at the green charger, and that one was already listed on their site since they had received it in. Even more fishy. I reached out multiple times with no response or the plain Jane of "we've been busy all day I'm sorry I haven't reached out I'll email you right now" and still received no email. It sucks because they would've had a great deal on their hands and I have multiple friends looking for new rides. Before this I would've sent them there in a heart beat, but with the lack of communication and details, highly doubtful I will be. They have now sold the car to a dealership without even thinking about reaching out and telling me, so I waited around for three days to get this car, sitting on cash for nothing. I thought my initial buying experience with Overstock couldn't be beat, and I was wrong. As part of my purchase, Michael and his boss John (the General Manager at Overstock) agreed to paint the hood of my car as it had a couple of (very normal) dings on it from rocks. I took my car in to be taken care of by them and was so incredibly pleased with the high level of the customer service that they provided to me. John took my car to the body shop that does all of the work for his own family, a man named Eric runs that shop. They went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND for me - not only did the hood get taken care of, but they took it upon themselves to touch up a couple of spots around my car that needed fixing at no charge to me. John and Michael had my RCF detailed inside and out, everything down to the suede was cleaned perfectly. To put a cherry on top of the whole experience, Michael returned my car to me with a tank full of gas. Unbeatable and personalized customer service like this is becoming harder and harder to come by, especially in typically shady industries like used car sales, but I can guarantee you that the employees and management at Overstock have a high degree of integrity and really do their part to take care of their customers.
