That being said I am traveling for work and am totally unfamiliar with this area, nor the degree of aptitude of their services. That being said I went in and received immediate service from a very young gentleman. Solid greeting and smile from this individual, who proceeded to ask what he could help me with. I expressed my issue with the maintenance light and asked if he could possibly run a diagnostic check on my vehicle. He did the diagnostic check printed off the result; which claimed no issues. Stumped of the reason why the maintenance light was on , we batted around some ideas of why. Finally we came to the conclusion that the reason for the light was that before my trip to Amarillo I had received an oil change at Wally World in my home town and they had not reset the oil change indicator notification and Voila mystery solved. Thanks again for stopping my mental breakdown for fear that I was going to have to get a loan to fix my Becarita. Yes that is her name.

They stated that the windshield could not have been broken while in their possession. Asked if they have security cameras in their shop so they could review and see if something fell on the truck to break the windshield. They said they have no security cameras. We feel they must have insurance to cover the cost of damages to vehicles while in their possession. Will never take another vehicle to the business nor refer any one to them as they showed no respect for our vehicle or concern that our windshield was broke while in their shop.

The manager refused to take out my battery and charger it because it was an auto zone batter y. I was turned away. I looked on Google and saw one was down the way on Georgia. The people couldn't be nicer. A woman took out my battery and charger it. Another gentleman ran battery and alternator test completely free. I got my information and headed to get my alternator replaced. Thanks for Auto Zone after the lack luster experience at Advanced Auto On 45th. I usually go there to buy my supplies and occasional parts. Not ever again. I'll drive past it after this poor customer service straight to Auto Zone. .

From the second he answered he treated me as if I was annoying him and how dare I call. I realize that the counter people don't have the best customer service so I dealt with it. But he told me he didn't have time to check my warranty. I told Rodney I only have one car on my warranty history and the part would have been purchased in the last few months. I explained that I was familiar with the Autozone system and it wouldn't take long. He carelessly told me he didn't have time and hung up on me. I ended up calling a different Autozone and got what I needed in 2min. Don't deal with Rodney at the 34th and Georgia.

Autozone system took the first card and then froze the system so it wouldn't work on anything else. Went to get my money back since it cleared my account and they can't find where it posted on their system. Stood in line and on hold for over 40 minutes while corporate kept saying they saw nothing and giving the manager phone numbers for her to call. In the end, she had to leave a message with the details and I have to wait 48 hours for them to determine if I in fact get my money back and then, if I do, another week for them to return it. While it is not this store's fault, I will not walk into another Autozone after this is settled.

I brought my Lexus in at 8am on Wed. & he kept saying, "It'll be ready tomorrow, tomorrow..." then I got a text from Street Toyota saying "Thank you for bringing in your vehicle!" ON FRIDAY MORNING. I am very grateful that his ego wasn't bigger than my safety but he cracked my cowl seal (GOOGLE THATT!) and broke my windshield wiper - - which he did not disclose - - I had to notice it and point out that I just got my oil changed at Street Toyota a week before and was absolutely certain the windshield wiper was in new condition before I dropped it off to him. So began the "Tomorrow, Tomorrow" game for those replacements and it took him, Julio, my giant paper-book manual, and GOOGLE for them to change the windshield wipers - - which do not look right - - and he replaced both cowls when only the one that he destroyed was needed. (There was no sun damage to it nor was there wear & tear - - they were perfectly sealed and unnoticeable!) He replaced it with an ill-fitting seal or just did a 1/2-Donkey job because there's a gaping hole now leaving the engine and my cabin vulnerable to weather and critter exposure. He, Ted, and Julio just made me feel like a Dumb Female and I know they're reading this saying, "That's redundant!!" But I have pictures and video of Braden & Julio just confounded as to how to change the windshield wiper so - - who's the dumb female??! (Sorry to be redundant).
