IF YOU LIKE TO BE RIPPED OFF, take your car to this place. I was charged $1000 to replace a steering wheel pump and fix a cylinder 5 misfire. One day later, steering wheel fluid was found all over the engine, and the engine light came back on, indicating the same cylinder failure. I took the vehicle back, and the shop charged another $400, claiming the pump's base "broke" and that they "supposedly" replaced the coil in cylinder 5, despite I did replace all eight coils with Motorcraft parts six months prior. I had a couple of lights on my dashboard when I brought it in, and I also asked for a general tune up/look over (I'd like to add that I mentioned the tune up/look over multiple times and specifically confirmed that). First, and the least of my worries but still bothersome, my car smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke. Then, on my way home from the shop, my tire pressure sensors stop working. I call the shop back (again, this is maybe 20 minutes after I picked my car up), and the guy says, "oh, well maybe you ran over a nail." Like no. I know the difference between an issue with a single tire and the sensors not working. My husband called back on my behalf where we were assured everything was topped off and looked over, but still no acknowledgement that my sensors quit working 20 minutes after I leave the shop (they were working before). Well, here we are only 2 weeks from when I brought it in, and my brake fluid is low and the brakes no longer work. Seems odd that something so major would fail so shortly after all the fluids were supposed to be topped off and everything was checked. read more

After a night out, my car began to stutter during acceleration (frustrating). Immediately, I searched for the highest rated mechanics in my area, and this search delivered me to Autopro at 8 a.m. the next morning. Greeted at the front desk by Adam, he told me he may be able to look at it the same day and that was enough for me since I'd expected a full day's wait with any mechanic I chose. Well, fast forward to 4pm of the same day and my car is ready and waiting for me at the shop! Adam was prompt in communicating the need for an ignition coil after reviewing my 2009 Avalon, revealing the price which was fair for the service, and the process from start to finish was timely, transparent, and exactly what I needed. I took the vehicle in with a few dash lights, one for an improper tire sensor, and received a clean dashboard that is light-free. Adam's, "Should be good as new", was not an exaggeration and my car is back to running like it should.
