The codes for the forester, 3 for the engine. 7 other codes

WHERE'S THE TRANSPARENCY??? NOT HERE! I was just here at this business this Tuesday, 2/24/26 and have been regretting, the day I went. I have been looking for a car since the end of December, looking at CARFAX, cars.com, car gurus, individual companies, pretty much everywhere. I've even test drove at least 5 different cars. I came upon this company, thru the web(I don't think thru any of those sites I've mentioned) and noticed that they have like 4 cars that i wouldnt mind test driving, looking for an suv, not per se a particular brand. When I mentioned to the sale guy, he gave me a snide remark, that should've been my 1st warning. Sales guy, was very laid back(which you think was a good quality), no pressure sale, which was nice. But he really didn't know his trade or his stock. He couldn't really give me any details on the cars I was driving. Literally holding a conversation with my self. My 1st defense for looking at cars is a FIXD device which is golden(a definite necessity for any car owner. This little device fit its the ob site under the dash. It will tell you of the things you don't see. I wanted to look at 4 but only 3 were available. I test drove the 2016 red Subaru Forester, 2021 orange Kia Seltos and the 2018 Grey Nissan Rogue. After test driving each car, I plugged in the FIDX remote, scanned the cars. Each car threw a red code, which is not good. The forester threw up 10 codes and the other cars threw up 1 code each, but both were in the red. Which what you don't want. I'm hoping to show you pictures of what I am speaking about. So I course I was baulking at even getting any of them. O did I mention I drove like an hr and 20 mins to get here, really not worth it. I really wasn't thinking too clearly, I think. I should've left right then. I really did want the forester, but 10 codes, I couldn't even considerate it. I said I wouldn't mind purchasing the seltos, it had 1 code, but I wanted my mechanic to look at it 1st. He arranged it where I could get my mechanic to look at it, and if there was anything wrong they would fix it. The sale guy kept saying the mechanic was going to poo po the car just because of its color. I told him ive been going to the same guy for over 20 years, he wouldn't do that. So Wayne, 1st gave me the #'s, their site said $17,400 and all those other sites said the same amount. He literally added another $1000 because I wasn't financing the car, I was paying cash. That's when I should've left. Again. I liked the car. Later i had read their mission statement, they want their customer to have transparency and confidence in buying a car. They state that on their site. They said that the provide each customer the carfax with the histories, owners, accidents of each car, NEWSFLASH-They NEVER gave me the carfax. As I was saying I've been looking at cars since end of December. I was NOT looking at cars with multiple owners or accidents. I thought I had looked those specs, but there were other seltos and foresters and rogues I was looking at, and I must of mixed these up also. IF AUTOPROVED LIVED UP TO THEIR MOTTO, I wouldn't be on this site complaining. I gave autoproved $1000, non refundable deposit, in hopes of returning the next day to pick up my car and pay for it with a check. IF I SAW THE CARFAX, I WOULDVE NEVER CONSIDERED THIS CAR. Multiple owners, and accident(s). CARFAX LITERALLY SAID THIS CAR SHOULD SEE A COLLISION EXPERT. I saw this fact after I got home. I had literally called my mechanic for them to go over the car. I was so filled with despair, when I saw the CARFAX. I couldn't go thru with the sale. Wayne wanted me to pay for the car, take it to my mechanic and then if they found anything, autoproved would pay for the difference. The next day, i told my husband what i found out with the carfax and that i wouldve not went thru with the sale.HE WAS PISSED with them beinging dishonest with the price and now with the carfax, he didnt want anything to do with them. DO YOUR HOMEWORK FOLKS. DO NOT VISIT THIS BUSINESS ITS NOT WORTH YOUR SAFETY. I feel like I should be able to get my deposit back and that is definitelya safety issue,(THIS LITERALLY ALL HAPPENED IN LESS THAN 24 HR) for the sake that they didn't provide that CARFAX, when it literally clearly says it on their website that they do that. UGH!

    Note, missing lug nut!!

With that said, she needed some work. The windshield had a few rock chips in it, and they replaced it for free. It had 12, yes, twelve small to medium dents in the hood and driver's door that needed to be addressed; (paintless dent repair $450) An (aluminum insert needed to be replaced $350). To be fair, the dealership took some cash off the top of the deal for the insert. I understood that downside. Now the bad part: less than a month and the check engine light comes on. I call the sales associate, and he connected me with the repair shop. In the end, the camshaft, and other engine components had went. All but the plugs were covered by the warranty. Total repair was over $4k all covered except the plugs and coils. The inspection report is email, and it says my front tires are almost gone: (I just brought the Jeep). So, that's another $500.00. The service dept. worked with me regarding the plugs and coils and I appreciate that. Sadly, while on the turnpike, I realize me hood was moving. THE TECH NEVER CLOSED AND SECURED THE HOOD. I WAS DOING 80 MPH ON THE PA TURNPIKE WITH AN UNSECURED HOOD!!!! When I closed on the purchase, everything was smooth as silk. I didn't have to leave the house, as they delivered her to the house and had everything prepared for me to sign. The sales associate does everything, so (THERE'S NO WAITING IN THE FINANCE MANAGER'S OFFICE)!!! Oh yeah, they gave me an exceptional deal on my '19 Ford Expedition Platinum. (My Expedition sold in less than two weeks). Lexus of Lehigh Valley is a great dealership and I will recommend them as a reputable dealership. Are they as good as Thompson Lexus? I think they rushed to put my Jeep on the lot, as I think Thompson would have caught that engine issue, and they would have fixed those dents prior to listing her. Everyone treated me well and with respect. I'll give them an 8/10.

1 STAR -- BUYER BEWARE…read more Absolutely horrible experience. I bought a 2020 Ford Explorer from this dealership for over $30,000 and put $10,000 down. The same day I discovered the windshield was cracked. Because of snow, I couldn't see it during the test drive. It took them almost 2 months to fix it. Then the vehicle broke down with multiple warnings: Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power, Hill Start Assist, Pre-Collision Assist, and Check Engine Light. They kept it for 3 weeks, claimed they fixed it, and said it was running great. Less than a month later, it broke down again with AWD and ABS problems. It's now been sitting at their shop for over 2 months. Getting answers is nearly impossible. They bounce you from person to person, promise callbacks that never happen, and constantly give excuses. I finally said I wanted out of the vehicle. Instead of helping, they tried to sell me another car with higher payments, then offered me only $17,000 for a vehicle they sold me for $30K+ just 7 months ago--after I've already put $10K down and spent roughly 3 of those 7 months with my car in their shop. Which the car is still in the shop till this date 08/16/2026 with no ETA on when i will get it back! I would NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership, nor will I recommend it to anybody. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!. And stay away from Peter he is not a honest salesperson.

If you're looking for a new car, please see Zach Kotran. One of the most personable, down to earth guys you would ever want to meet! I drove an hour to this dealership on Friday since they were one of the few that had Camry's on the lot that were "saleable" due to the current recall. I had a few text conversations with Zach prior to my arrival, which I appreciated very much. One of my wife's first questions was to ask me how the salesrep was since we were VERY disappointed with the not just the arrogance, but the lack of product knowledge at another Toyota dealer (salesman) that was local to us. Zach is most definitely a "car guy" that knew not just the car, but also all of the tech. It felt like I knew Zach for many years and we were just "BS'ing" about cars over a few beers. No pressure AT ALL....no tactics....just a great all around negotiating and buying process. I did observe other sales and finance guys on the Saturday we were there for the pick up....everyone was in a great mood and many Salesreps were hopping from customer to customer. Lounge and restrooms were super clean. Overall, we had an A++ experience here, and we are loving our new Camry. Again, a HUGE shout-out to Zach Kotran for not just being a great salesman, but also being a REALLY good guy!

When we went in Nolan was the salesman. he was very knowledeable and did not pressure. It was a pleasant experience until we reached back later and initiated negotiations. The discount was in line because they were against a month end quota. the issue started with their offer for the trade. The offered 19000. KBB offered 20140. they slowly relented to that number but started trying to justify how great it was by saying kbb would only pay 18895. I pushed back and said we wanted 21500. They stood their ground. Here's the kicker. Subaru itself guarenteed at least 20600 for the trade. So, they not only tried an insulting low bid out the gate they stuck to a number well below the guarenteed trade by Subaru. If you aren't educated and done your research, Ciocca will with out hesitation ignore fair values and try and rip you off. We went to another dealer that gave a higher discount and 21000 on the trade. They won the sale . Avoid Ciocca. they will try and low ball you, stick to their guns trying ti justify how great the klow ball is and proven they will also ignore Subaru guarenteed numbers. We don't hold it againts Nolan. He was just passing along from above.

Many of the things that the dealer had been "warning" me about turned out to be fictitious. I did go back to the dealer, though, last year to have my battery replaced because it is very difficult to otherwise find a compatible battery that is available locally. No problem with that at the time. But a few weeks ago, I went back again because I noticed that there was a steering problem and needed it to get checked immediately (my regular mechanic books out weeks in advance). The found that a rear shock was broken - fine. But they also told me that my battery was reading low and recommended replacing it. I said, sure, go ahead, YOU just replaced it 6 months ago and it should be fully covered under warranty. They immediately backtracked and muttered something about how the test result must have been from the previous visit (clearly a lie - the previous visit, I came because the battery was DEAD, not low). I asked again when picking up the car about the battery test result, and they again brushed it off and changed the topic. Sorry, but I can't trust this dealer any more, and you shouldn't either.
