Do NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I bought a car here in October 2025 through a salesperson named Luisa, and this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I was promised a flash drive with all of my signed paperwork sent by mail--I never received anything. I've called multiple times and have been given nothing but excuses and runarounds. The worst part: I later found out the vehicle has a Structural damage report on the CARFAX that I myself had to look up because I was not given a CARFAX when I asked for it, which was NEVER disclosed to me at the time of purchase. This is a huge issue and completely unacceptable. Failing to disclose something this important is misleading and raises serious concerns about how this dealership does business. Both of them lack professionalism, Gary was just blatantly rude to my father while speaking to him. I bought a Nissan 2010 370z about a year ago from them and when I was finalizing the paperwork they told me they needed to fix the "fuel pump issue" so they made me wait a week after to come back to the dealer which was an hour away from me to pick it up but they never even attempted to fix the issue because it broke down on me the very first day i drove it. It was a back and forth issue for about a 2 months, which they started ducking my emails and phone calls in that period of time,between me and Edwards saying they would "pay" for my repair but that also ended up being a complete lie and they just compensated me with a $1,000 check (which he made me pick up and wait about an hour to receive) to a $3,000 repair because it turns out the ECM was fried and it was never my fuel pump. When we called them back to get our tags, they left us high and dry to tag the vehicle ourselves, ON OUR OWN DIME. They issued a refund check that they did not date and later denied. On March 18, 2025, I signed a contract to purchase a 2020 Volvo V60 from Autos Direct of Fredericksburg. The price was fair. At the time of purchase, I noticed that the driver's side rear lens was cracked. Autos Direct promised to replace it. They did so but after two return trips to Fredericksburg. At the same time, I asked about a service warning light. I was told that the service department would check the cause. If it was checked, no one told me the result. As it turned out, the Volvo needed a new auxiliary battery. Also at the time of purchase, I told the salesman that the Volvo should be titled in the name of a revocable trust. I gave him a copy of my current registration for another car as an example. Nonetheless, the Volvo was titled and registered in my name alone. I called the back-office support person who told me that no one ever told her about the special registration. I talked to the manager who said he had told her. I had to go to the DMV and re-title and re-register the car. read more

Amateur and Shady TLDR; These guys are amateurs, will weasel out of every promise, and will do it with an attitude. Every stereotype of a used car dealer. -- I've bought a lot of vehicles. I knew which car I wanted in advance. I called, put a down payment over the phone, and said I'd come see it in person in a few days. They were great at first - said they'd have the paperwork all done before I got there, and would just need a signature. When I showed up, he insisted I let him know about any concerns during the test drive, that their mechanic would take care of any issues as a part of the sale agreement. Two small issues came up, one with lane-keeping-assist and one with AC. He confirmed and promised that they'd take care of it right away. When I sat down to sign the paperwork, they completely changed. He retracted his offer to have the two concerns addressed, at one point blatantly lying that the car wasn't equipped with lane-keeping-assist (only lane departure warning), despite their own listing showing both, the visible feature in the car, and Honda showing that it is indeed a feature of this model. None of the paperwork had been prepared as promised - it was an extra hour just waiting alone at an empty desk while they drafted and printed it. Additionally, they fumbled the documents to the lender and were contentious during the exchange with them. I dealt with my salesman, Bosa (Sahel) as well as two others, Moh and Tanisha. Phone calls resulted in incessant transfers between co-workers blaming each other or hot-potatoing, and were rude and sarcastic. All in all, the 15 minutes of pleasant introductions quickly soured and turned into 2.5 hours of dismissing and backtracking, and then two painful weeks of dealing with them after the sale. By far the worst experience buying a vehicle I've had. Funnily enough, they tried to force me to sign a document that said I couldn't write any bad reviews online. update to prior review from 3 years ago: I paid 3 years ago $2800 or so in repairs for a vehicle that was "safety inspected" by this dealership. They ignored me and ruined a really young persons savings. I let it go after I realizedi couldn't do anything legally because the vehicle was used. I had to rely on the dealership to admit their mistake and fix it like a reputable dealer would and that obviously didn't go well. A couple of weeks ago the "new manager" reached out here to "try to make things right" and they asked if I would be willing to change my review. I told them all the ways the would be helpful for me. Right now I need to actually drop down a vehicle. I asked them if they were willing to run some numbers to purchase my vehicle (I can take care of whatever isn't paid on the loan) they replied with "we don't buy cars." and went on to say I would need to trade in. They didn't contact me to make my experience right. They contacted me to push me into trading in. Here is my prior review attached. Why contact a reviewer and prior customer when your intention isn't to ACTUALLY make things right. Actually making things right is owning up to what the dealership caused and repaying us in some fashion. I don't know like maybe finding something actually beneficial for me that we can agree on. Mmm, not good, not good. A friend and I came down from the NE to look at a specific car, which they said would be ready when we got there so we could take it for a pre-puchase inspection. It wasn't, and that's because the car was actually an hour north and west at their second location. So, we traipse on up to Manassas and get the keys to bring it to another place, a Firestone nearby on Nokesville Road that was open and has solid reviews. The CEL was on, and we found two codes on our own. Firestone found a total of four codes, a lot of it downstream of the modification done to the vehicle. The list of what's wrong with it is long, and we were at the Firestone for more than an hour despite them getting the car up in the air within minutes of our arrival. Repainted? Check. Trouble codes? Yessir! Accelerator sticks on rare occasions? You bet we have those! I would not buy from these people, were I you. I walked away. You should, too. In fact, run. read more

I bought a car from here June 2023, 3 days later the motor blew. So then the car went back in the shop for 2+ months, I finally got it back. Thinking everything is gonna be good, 3 days later it shut off on me in drive. Got it back to their facility and they said it was because the oil line broke to the motor, so back in the shop for 5 more days, also replaced brakes and rotors due to uncontrollable shaking over 70MPH, Chris promised me to get me a good reliable car because I travel. Got it back engine light came on not even 30 minutes later I got it back up there and at this point THEY'RE SEEMING ANNOYED WITH ME?????? So mechanic comes and says it needs away bars and O2 sensors and they will order it and I can come back and get it... I had a family emergency out of state.. I went to Auto direct and had them look at the CAR AGAIN!!!!! and they said I would be okay to travel to Florida to see my sick grandmother. I called Kia and asked them as well because I've been trying to get it in Kia for a recall but everytime I get it back, I have it NO LONGER than a week or 2 and it breaks down. Took my At out of state, in which is STILL STUCK OUT OF STATE, because it turned off and wil not turn back on. Have tried jump. New terminals, new battery & they told me there is nothing they can do. Also pay a lump sum to them and my insurance and my insurance doesn't even have ONE FREE TOW! I live in Virginia, my other family is here, my job and house is here, I had to come home and leave my car 3 states away because they sold me a piece of crap car and basically told me to screw off and they didn't care that I was out Of state, said there's nothing they can do for me it's my car. Mind you I have a 36 month warranty & Chris told me to lie to the bank and say my car was running great and they promise they would fix everything. Now I have to take them to court because I don't even know where the hell my car that I just bought is, they are horrible!!! Do not get a car from here. They are terrible with communication and paperwork. All they want is a sale. I traded in my old vehicle for a more spacious one. They did not charge sales tax to make it look like my trade in value was higher so when I got to the DMV (because they did not transfer my tags) I was charged almost $800 in car and sales tax. They also promised to order a part for my car that was cosmetic, but will not answer the phone or return messages when asking about the status. They are dishonest and terrible business people. Also the first car I looked at was not what was shown on the internet. It was garbage and they still tried to sell me a car that was misrepresented on the internet. Come to find out the car was in an accident with airbags deployed! Very poor customer service out of the Fredericksburg location. Called to ask a question about my front plate after buying the vehicle a year ago and the guy who answered the phone had a terrible attitude to begin with. He informed me that my plate had to be put on within 30 days of buying the vehicle and I understood that. His tone was very nasty when I advised him that I was just asking a simple question and no need to be hostile, he then stated "i was giving you a simple answer" and then hung up the phone. When calling back I asked for his supervisor and he told me he is the supervisor. I then asked for his supervisor and he said he doesn't come into shop and tried to argue on the phone before I hung up. Horrible experience, they asked me for 1000$ deposit in the Tundra 2022 they have for sale. I gave them 300$ I arrived at the dealer and the truck wasn't as they pretend to make people believe in their page. There's a big damage in the front of the truck that they trick people in their online pictures making it a reverse image only showing you the left part of it when in reality the passenger front part it's damage and broken, several dents and issues in the outside they don't event mentioned. I've been dealing with them for my deposit from almost a week and still they haven't refund it. I'll attached all picture here so you don't get trap with this people, I drove over 3 hours just to get a big disappointment, and they also told me they could take legal action because I was lying about all this that I posted. I purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer on 7/15/2020. I was never given Carfax, etc. I have had vehicle for 2 years and decided to sell it in order to downsize. I took the vehicle to CARMAX, they did vehicle inspection, and everything appeared ok. They offered me 23,500.00 to begin with but after CARFAX and AUTOCHECK was completed the offer went down to 18,000.00. Offer went down because report shows 2 accidents in Florida 2018/2019. One was structural damage and one involved front end damage/water damage. When vehicle was sold at auction in Florida they announced the vehicle had structural damage but Autos Direct purchased vehicle and sold vehicle to me in VA. I had no idea of any previous conditions on the vehicle. I spoke to dealer and was told that it is "my problem." read more

If I could give a zero stars I would. The most dishonest, scam business I've ever dealt with. Put a deposit over $17K on a car. They sold the car to someone else, and now three weeks later, still did not sent my $17K back. Almost impossible to get a hold of the manager Mr. Edwards. He does not respond to emails, or voicemails. I've tried to get a hold of him in past three weeks at least 20 times. I got him on a call only twice, he pretended like he ordered the accounting to wire the deposit back, but thats a big lie. (cannot be seen in the pictures they showed online) They claimed it did not have a salvage title, so it was OK! I had asked several times about the prior accidents and repairs, telling them that I had to long drive to get there. They gave me excuses for not sending a carfax prior to the visit. I was pre-approved with CapitalOne prior to going to this dealership. First they pulled my credit without me even choosing a vehicle yet. Now I have to get a car since I don't want another dealer pulling my credit again and taking more points off my score. They financed my loan with Ally Financial without asking or involving me in the process, once I asked why, Gary couldn't give me a straight answer, other than to say it was a better rate or I can pay for the car in full. Never saw a comparison of such rates. First and last time I shop here. Gary was very unprofessional when speaking and dealing with customer concerns. Not what I was expecting. I'm so glad I followed my intuition. I am in search of a very specific car and when the car matched up, I was extremely excited. Try 1. I inquired about a vehicle on a Friday. No one reached out to me. Try 2. I decided to call the following Monday (today) I spoke to a salesman named Joe. I asked him about this car and he was very deceptive with his wordings. I asked him typical over the phone questions when buying a car. (Clean car fax, miles, etc) He informed me the car had a minor accident involving rear left impact and the car fax checks out. I told him Im coming from ATL (8.5 hour drive) so if everything checks out, it would be an easy sell, and to send me car fax and pics of engine bay to check for rust. He sent me pics of the engine bay but bad angles n never sent the car fax. Later on that same night, as I'm still car shopping , I stumbled upon the car n checked out the car fax. The salesman was completely deceptive. The car had structural and frame damage. He was literally about to make me waste 17 hours worth of driving than to be upfront. I was contacted via text with text shortcuts and "send me your dl" not driver's license, or "we r doing...". No manners whatsoever and when I said that I wanted to hold off until I can get some more money together, his reply was simply WOW.
