I had a terrible experience with AutoSavvy in Duncanville and would not recommend buying a vehicle here. I purchased a 2022 Honda Odyssey expecting it had been properly repaired and inspected. However, at just 30,000 miles, the transmission completely failed. That is not normal wear and tear and raises serious concerns about the quality of the prior repairs done before the vehicle was sold. At the time of purchase, I was also sold an extended warranty through Endurance Warranty Services, which gave me a sense of security. When the transmission failed, the claim was denied leaving me responsible for a major repair out of pocket. So the reality ended up being: A branded title vehicle with a major mechanical failure, combined with a warranty that did not cover the issue when it mattered most. This has been stressful, time-consuming, and expensive, and it completely changed the value of what I thought I was purchasing. My advice: Do not rely on the warranty alone, and do not assume these vehicles have been repaired to a reliable standard. Get an independent inspection and ask very detailed questions before buying. I purchased a 2018 Explorer here. salesperson was nice enough, but I was very tired and did not think this one through. 1- Before agreeing on a vehicle, ask what interest rates and what finance companies they have pulled up. I had a pre approved rate with Capital 1. The rate I was given was higher, but salesperson said the estimate was based on the Capital 1 rate... it wasn't. 2- Ask for a complete breakdown of what is being financed. I was charged $999 for vehicle enhancements... 3- Don't let them just give you monthly payment totals based on your down payment. Ask HOW they came to those estimates. 4- Be sure you have license plate holders in the front AND back... in Texas you have to have these. The buying process was quick, and there wasn't any need to do a haggle over pricing. I did decide to purchase the extended warranty through AutoSavvy because I was slightly weary of purchasing a used vehicle, and I am so glad I did. There were minor issues with the vehicle, which is honestly expected with purchasing used. That being said, the service department was unparalleled when it comes to costumer satisfaction. This dealership only sells branded titles. Which means they were in an accident. We were shown the pictures and it seemed all cosmetic and then they boasted about their inspection service that it goes through. We took the bait, they tried to charge us $200 to plant a tree to "help with emissions". Nope nope. Then 8 days after we had our car it stopped working. A major recall was never replaced. How did that get missed? It spent a month in the shop because they also found something else they needed to replace. Again, how did that get missed? Part of the sun visor came off and the car is only 2 years old. After 3 months we got rid of the car. Too many red flags. Oh and a normal dealership will only give you about a third of the price of car because of the branded titles. Aka, it's tainted. Save yourself time and effort and go somewhere else read more

TLDR; AutoSavvy of Duncanville is a 10/10 car dealership, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal on a used car. My salesperson, Tyler, was willing to work with me on my first car loan and was very reasonable and accommodating. The trade in amount on my old cash car was also very reasonable. I did do a VIN history check on the vehicle before buying it (all vehicles at AutoSavvy have branded titles, it's their whole thing) and the nature of the damage was a minor front-end collision which was admirably repaired by the AutoSavvy team. I personally must advise against purchasing any vehicles with major structural or water damage, so the VIN history check is important. The vehicle was very reasonably priced for the age and mileage, and the 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty provides me a lot of peace of mind. They connect me with another salesperson and he proceeded to notify me that the car I came to test drive wasn't at the car lot. If I could give a 0 star review I would. I bought a vehicle from here and regretted it literally DAYS after purchasing. Multiple lights turned, all the brake fluid had leaked out literally the day after I drove it off the lot. They provided me a rental, but it took almost 2 weeks for them to fix all of the issues then after I picked up the vehicle and asked for detailed information on everything that was done to the vehicle, because one of the lights turned on again! The general manager called me ungrateful, told me to go to another dealership, and to never call the dealership again And hung up the phone on me. Their customer service is terrible, they will literally sit there and argue with you, and not take the customers point of you into consideration. Please DO NOT BE TEMPTED by there prices. On September 12, 2022, I purchased a used 2019 Chevrolet Traverse from AutoSavvy in Duncanville, TX. The exterior and interior of the vehicle all appeared in good shape. AutoSavvy is a national dealership specializing in rebuilt vehicles. They claim the vehicle goes through a 151-point inspection not once but twice to ensure it is safe and adequately repaired for sale. We traded in our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country to purchase the Traverse. After arriving home (approximately 4 hours away), I noticed a strange noise coming from the vehicle's front end. I made an appointment at Chevyland in Shreveport on 9/17/2022 (the next available service date). Soon after dropping the Traverse off at Chevyland, the service department representative called me back and asked me to return to the dealership immediately. They showed me severe damage to the undercarriage, which had NOT been repaired from a previous crash. There were frame and sub-frame parts not connected or missing. Some parts were bent and rusted under the vehicle. The radiator and compressor lines were leaking. The engine mount was sideways, and the Chevyland Tech stated this was causing one of the sounds I had heard. They told me the vehicle was unsafe to operate in its current condition. Chevyland provided recommended repairs of almost $9,000 to make the vehicle safe to drive. I contacted Traye Winn (General Manager) at AutoSavvy - Duncanville about what to do. Winn stated he needed to contact Corporate to find out what to do as he had never heard of anything like this before. Approximately 2 hours later, Winn contacted me and said they would arrange to get the Traverse towed back to AutoSavvy-Duncanville to inspect and repair it. Winn stated he would get us a loaner vehicle in the mean time. Winn stated Chevyland grossly exaggerated the repair costs. Winn did arrange for a loaner vehicle (2019 Ford Explorer) and had some dealership staff meet me halfway (Longview, Texas) which was 2 hours away. After thinking about it overnight, I emailed Winn and asked for our van (trade) back because I did not feel safe or comfortable doing business with Autosavvy after this experience. He said they had already sold our van to CarMax, so I asked for the agreed-upon trade value back ($11,000), and they could have the Traverse back. He said he would have to contact corporate again. When he called me back, he stated that corporate was only going to repair the vehicle and they would not offer a refund or unwind the transaction. I had already contacted US Bank and asked if the transaction was finalized, and they stated it was not, but only the dealership could stop the loan from completing. Winn stated the deal was finalized and could not be stopped as the sale was final. Autosavvy advertises they have specialists purchase from one of their 400 trusted repair facilities and that the vehicle goes through a 151-inspection before selection. They also advertise that only 1 in 3 pass the inspection. After selection, they advertise the vehicle goes through another 151-point inspection at the dealership where the vehicle is sent to sell. It is obvious these so called "inspections" never happened as they advertised, or they did and chose to sell it anyway. Autosavvy has repeatedly refused to provide a refund and take back the damaged vehicle. We have repeatedly stated we have safety and trust issues with Autosavvy and they continue to refuse to unwind the transaction, provide us a refund of our trade or buy back the vehicle. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety - Office of Motor Vehicles. We are victims of fraud. Please do not fall victim to these scam artists. read more

I would start by summing up my review with the words of the great business man Andrew Bernard by saying "steer clear, Bug Tuna. Head for open waters." Don't be tempted by the prices. I have bought two vehicles from Auto Savvy, most recently from Duncanville location and I have had nothing but horrible experiences with anything after the fact. I've rarely ever given such a low review on anything. We spent months trying to get a hold of anyone to assist with even the most routine of needs, never getting anyone to call us back after promises from dozens of people. I left messages with them day after day after day with no response. Would try calling through sales and get promises of call backs with nothing. Had issues with title and license that were not related to DMV delays, got empty promises in 'We Owe' from the sale contract that were not followed up on and then told it's too late. Had people give me cell phone numbers and promise to follow up and then get ghosted for months. Had people tell me they agree and know there are serious issues with communication and getting a hold of people and then I get told that I should have tried to contact them. Had employees tell me they know that something wasn't done correctly but they aren't willing to do anything to correct or address it, with again more promises for follow up and call backs that don't actually happen. I tried submitting requests online for call backs and assistance, i tried chatting with their customer service online to get a hold of someone. The best way to try to a human being in that actually location was to call sales and even then no one would call back. I live over an hour away from them and in our day and age should not have to rely on having to physically drive in and waste hours of my life because of the clear gaps in function of the location. Both cars I bought had batteries that failed within months of buying (you'll find others that have similar experiences), one that corroded and leaked acid, due to no fault of myself as they happened so quickly after purchasing and I know to care for a battery and never had these types of issues. Again, the prices are tempting, but you'll pay for it in the long run with incredibly frustrating issues of their clear gaps on process, follow up, execution, management, and any type of controls in place to ensure their mission statement is actually fulfilled. I've worked on both customer service,. management, risk, control, and process improvement and see any clear gaps that management knows about but fails to address and in my opinion don't care about either. Their constant turnover of management is another clear indication of the derelict attitude to doing business at a local level. You'll see a high rating on here because they work hard to ask for a review of the sales process right when you purchase the vehicle and if someone has no need to reach them after the fact it's likely that they won't update their review. You'll notice that there is a pattern in reviews of issues after the fact of low reviews and it's very telling. read more

This dealership is horrible.. scamming innocent buyers...they are not truthful and they sale lemons .. Don't let the outside of the vehicle fool you..It's underneath that hood that you can't see... Went to test drive one of their vehicles and it stopped several times on the freeway with a child in the car..Imagine that.. couldn't even return the car back to the dealership they had to come pick it up... If I could post the video of the incident on here I would...Dealership needs to be shut down. I would have gave this fraud of a dealership no stars but I had to just to post the review... It's good if you could pick up parts but this is not for parts. You buy salvaged and wrecked vehicles that they restored. We were about to buy a vehicle here but paid for the car fax report, on-line. . Don't just check for recalls. Found out vehicle had been in multiple crashes, had front and back end damage with air bags deployed,and totaled with rest of warranty discontinued. Has a salvaged title. Too good to be true check out the vehicle before you buy. read more

Bought an overpriced branded car with a warranty and a bunch of empty promises. Went almost two months without getting our plates, which were supposed to be here within two weeks. All of this is understandable as delays can happen. We finally got the plates after having complications getting into contact with anyone at AutoSavvy. The manager "Primo" said he would take care of us because of the horrible experience we had, and told us he would get back to us in an hour, but it's going on two weeks and we still haven't heard back from him. The only people we were able to get ahold of after purchasing the car was sales and they couldn't help us at all and were useless as far as getting into contact with someone who could help us out. Around the two month point the check engine light comes on for the car and we call AutoSavvy trying to get this fixed, as we had just purchased the car from them. All we wanted was for someone to come pick up the car, take it to their AutoSavvy customer service center, fix it, and bring it back to us. The general manager, Daniel was helpless as well though he said he was in charge of the store, but "couldn't do anything" and gave us a contact at their AutoSavvy headquarters in UT. We are currently having trouble getting in touch with the headquarters as well so depending on how that goes maybe I will update this review. DONT BUY FROM HERE, HUGE SCAM! They sold me a car that had no diagnosis ran on it and never got it inspected by the DMV. It was also never posted on their website so they committed an illegal sale. The contract they presented to me stated a diagnosis was ran (though it really was not) and there were only A/C issues. Also, they temporarily disabled the engine light which is illegal as it popped back on right before leaving the lot. Due to lack of diagnosis, not even the dealership knew they allowed me to drive off in a dangerous vehicle. My tire popped off while riding on the highway and I was almost hit by a diesel. Within that same time frame the car shut completely off as the car had a rundown used battery that died and couldn't be recharged. The dealership mishandled me when I alerted them of the issues. The same day I left the lot with my car another customer who just purchased a vehicle was walking in to complain about their engine light also popping on as well as an oil leak on the first day driving the vehicle off the lot. I heard the manager brush him off to his staff acting as though it was the customer's fault. My sister also ran into the same issues as she purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it was also a lemon as the engine light popped on as well. Management takes no accountability and tries to blame the customer. Later they provided false promises of repair of my vehicle under $1000 then shortly after they alerted me that they finally ran a first diagnosis of the vehicle after I already purchased it and it is unsafe to drive. They stated they will find me a safer car of the same value. This never happened. They never called me back again so I reached out for months and received no answer or callback for 2 months. Finally I called from a different number where I received an answer. They stated that they bought the car back though they never told me. When I called the bank who was financing my vehicle they stated that I am still making payments on it, therefore, they still own it and in order for the dealership to buy it back they would require my permission which they never asked for or received. I never gave authority for my vehicle to be unwinded therefore they did it under my nose. When I confronted these issues with the manager Daniel Luna, he stated that since I reported them then the state will deal with it and I am not their problem then he hung up in my face and advised his entire department not to answer my calls as I was told by Tish in Customer Service. This was an experience I would not wish on my worst enemy and I can only imagine how many more people they have done this way. I know companies pay people to do reviews to give them more stars or they find other ways to manipulate reviews. I am certain this company is one of them because what I witnessed as a customer and experienced was nowhere near ideal or legal. Please dont waste your time, patience and money here. My credit is negatively affected by this company and their scams. I am currently pursuing legal action. By utilizing this company, I am now faced with purely stress. read more
