As you can imagine, it, at this age, needs constant TLC. After years of "smog shops" FAILING to provide efficient services, BMR led me to AUTOTEK. AUTOTEK went ABOVE AND BEYOND when smogging my ancient machine. Most places only smog, and those that make repairs, charge A LOT extra. AUTOTEK, found a few fundamental problems with the emissions systems and because they were minor, they made adjustments WITHOUT adding to the basic charge for smog. I can't promise they can always do this for everyone, because all vehicles are different, but this earned them my repeat business. For seven years now, I take all five of my vehicles to them, because I don't have to scrap my old ( yet quite functional ) Motorhome, and replace it with what these days would be a six figure machine. I took my car in for a smog and during the check the advised I had a hose leaking coolant and I never saw it. They replaced the hose and checked for anymore leaks. They found none. I went in for a smog and they tied to charge me $95 to get it done on a 1995 Honda Civic. I told them that I came in before so I knew the price before hand and they still had the audacity to say that price to me. Only a year had passed and I thought well maybe the price went up. While I was waiting I started to doubt the price would go up that much from my last smog and began to call around at other places and got far better prices by more than half even some accepted coupons online. I didn't even talk to the lady at the desk and went out and told him to end the test because i don't want to do business here and that they charge way to much. He was nice and understanding. I'm not really one to cry racism but seeing other reviews on here having pleasant experiences differ from mine makes me question what could have been the reason? They also send your information to the DMV, no need to do it yourself :) At first, it was a bit difficult to locate them - but they're literally right across the street from Antelope Pick & Pull, in a BRIGHT YELLOW building. You can't miss it! These people are super honest - right when I pulled up, an attendant hurriedly greeted me, and helped me find my registration (shoot, I have no idea what it looked like). I usually keep emergency money in my glove compartment - he saw it, and warned me to keep it, so nobody takes it. NICE GUY!
