How can the dealer have an A+ BBB rating!? I contacted the BBB to find out... Seems that Reviews Don't score At ALL! Seems that 7 consecutive One-Star Reviews Aren't even tabulated! Complaints are tabulated, NOT on how many are Satisfactorily resolved, but rather, Did The Dealer Respond To The Complaimant. ALL the business has to do to receive an A+ BBB rating is basically...respond. Moral of this story: Apparently, any business can be A+, even if their customers consistently rate them as One-Star; just send your complainant an "So Sorry" post card. As for me, I'll take my financial lumps, but will NEVER set foot on their car lot again! Since that time I have found that 3 of the connectors for the center console were broken, and the lighter no longer works. There is a cut in the leather shift knob that was also done by your repair person. All of these faults are related to the short-throw shifter replacement. The car continued to leak oil and I brought it back to your shop. This was supposedly repaired a second time but it has continued to leak oil for the last two years. I have recently brought the car to Hendrick to repair the oil leak. They first replaced the oil pan gasket, which had an external sealant pasted over the gasket area. Subsequently they replaced the crankshaft seal. You can see from your bill that your shop worked on both of these items. I have paid $3500 to repair your faulty work on the engine, and many small pieces were broken when the shifter was replaced. This shop does careless and slipshod work.

He gave me the chance to run up the the NAPA store and get the part and he would fix my transmission before he went home. Despite setbacks at NAPA, Russell walked me through getting back the Mr. Transmission and he took care of the repair without complaining or stressing about the extra time it took. Located on a busy section next to Milos on Montgomery Hwy in Vestavia, this Pep Boys has about 5 automobile bays. On this late afternoon, they had their own troubles apparently because the AC in their lobby/office was broken. I noticed this right away when I walked into the office. With the office doors propped open and despite the heat, employee Beth greeted me with a smile. We walked out to my vehicle in the parking lot where she examined the flat tire. Took my keys and said she would let me know when it's done. Luckily on this day it just rained and was actually cooler outside than the non-AC office so I sat on the edge of the sidewalk outside. About 45 minutes later I got a text and I could see my vehicle returned to a parking spot that my car was ready. Landon the mechanic who patched my tire was very nice. He even gave me a crash course on the technique he used to patched my tire. Nice people, great job and only $25!
