Take for instance when I asked for r-134 air conditioning refrigerant for a car he said what is that lol. I'm in autozone to order a part for my car when all of a sudden voices are getting louder at first I thought they were goofing around until I saw the guy helping me signal to mgmt to that they needed to come here, well the kid helping this man starts getting loud and then gets in the mans face the tells him to get out of his face the kid says I'm not in your face this is in your face (nose almost touching), mgmt trys to diffuse the altercation about to happen trying to get the kid in the back, but now he's really talking smack because they're standing there, so the guy said I'm not going to jail for you but I'm calling your corporate office and the kid was still talking. Long story short the person helping me finished my purchase so I could leave a very uncomfortable situation, but if it was me that kid would be fired, he wouldn't back down and then called the customer all types of foul language words trying to bait the man into a fight. I guess I'll have my husband pick up the part for me on Tuesday. I go back to autozone today 1/7/20 to pick up an air filter for my car and the cashier speaks minimal English so after 5 trys I tell her to get me someone else to help me then she starts talking about me in Spanish to her co-worker, how rude, I'll spend a little more because I'm not going to be disrespected while spending my money and I need someone that understands me and who I understand. I placed an order for same day delivery via the internet from this store my card was not to be charged until the order shipped. 1/2 hour prior to delivery time I received an email saying the order was cancelled they couldn't find a driver. I check the bank and the money was taken out. I called the store and spoke to a compassionate young man named Kevin. Kevin claimed his manager named Tony told him they didn't have the part and they tried to call me which was not true. Kevin claims he personally refunded the charge which was still pending at my bank. Come Monday morning the money had came out of the account. called the store they said they did whatever they needed and I should talk to my bank asked for verification of the charge being credited to the account , "We have no way of doing that, I can't scan anything " go to your bank. My bank is in North Carolina and I'm on Long Island. Called the bank yada yada yada long story short took a week to get money back whilst the car sat on the street dead. The original email from the cancellation said the card was not charged this could be a one time thing but I'll never use them again read more

Went in to check if I needed a new battery... Was told yes my battery is dead that I need to buy a new battery so I did just that... Worker was huffing and puffing when he saw my battery without even touching it started complaining saying he may not be able to do it.... Telling me it would take longer then normal, after taking two screws off he finds one bolt that he tells me he cannot take off because it has a motherboard attached to it... This review is based on my limited engagement with this establishment. My car was having some issues starting up so I purchased a battery at AutoZone. The transaction happened fairly quick and did not require much time or effort on my part. A few days later my car started acting up again so I went back and had them swap the battery with another one. The employee that helped me was helpful and accommodating. I liked the fact that even without a receipt, Auto Zone honored their customer service practices and helped me rectify the issue. read more

Luckily when we finally arrived at AutoZone a very kind gentleman named Brendan helped us out by finding the right battery and installing it for us. I'm wondering if it is possible that we can give zero stars, or less than zero stars in a review. This is the worst auto parts place on long island. The employees there could not care less. The staff in this store all needs to be replaced. The online ordering system is even worse. I have ordered things here a few times. Usually only when they have specials and sales. They never respond with a pick up email. I always have to either call, or go there to see if the part they said they have in stock on line is actually in stock. When you call, they try and give you the standard "I don't want to work here" type of help. I inquired about an online order I placed @ 9am. At 4:45pm I hadn't received a pick up email. Called the store, was told that the driver was late. When I told them that the web-site said it was in stock, they put me on hold for 10 minutes. then cam back and said that my parts were available. So, from 9am to 4:45pm, they did NOTHING. Then tried to get me off the phone by giving me an excuse. Then miraculously found my parts. Don't waste your time or money here. read more
