Terrible service. I needed copies of my lease agreement. I called because they are listed as my preferred dealer, where the leased vehicle came from. The person who picked up, working on 1/20/26 at 430pm, continued to tell me that the dealership could not do anything. I eventually told him that it seemed as if he was just trying to get me off the phone and the least he could do is provide an 800 # if he was trying to help. His response- this call is over and hung up on me. Then I called back and they must have ID, because they picked up and put me on hold. So I called from my other phone, just so I could be told that the manager is not there and that there is no back up. I eventually got someone who gave me the name Chris Lico. Brightbay is different, and I will not be rolling into a new lease. I've had severe circumstances over the last 6 months. As a longtime customer (leasing two cars, Mom purchased a vehicle here, referred a family friend here), I figured if I told my story, I would not get the used car sales treatment. But I did! I was told after pulling my credit that I would receive a monthly payment of $537; although it was very high for my budget at the time, I was willing to roll into another lease. I was disheartened when I sat down with the loan offer to find that the payment went from 537 to 719. I will return the car as soon as the lease is over. I should thank them because I am searching for a vehicle using my resources and not blatantly rolling into the lease car machine. To date, I have given them close to 30,000 and no car. Came here cause my car been acting up from a bad oil change I received from Mavis is Deere park. Needed my car services and Bright Bay Mazda has been very professional and amazing. There service department is amazing and they helped me tremendously when my car was over heating and acting up. Glen in the service department has been amazing and thank you so much for working with me to get my car fixed ASAP. I was in a tough spot cause I couldn't drive the car and risk my engine seizing or burning out. Mazda had no loaners available, but Glen let me know they had a contract with hertz on getting customers reasonable prices on rented cars. I wasn't happy hearing I had a pay for a rental but the prices where very reasonable and I appreciate there professionalism as far as helping Me get a rental if I needed one! Car engine needed to be replaced and they fixed it in a time key manner while I was borrowing a car from a friend. It took roughly 2 weeks but it was way faster then if I took it to where I got my car from. This dealership went far and beyond to get my car fixed and again I didn't get my lease through bright bay Mazda and they still where professional in helping me. It's not everyday you buy (or in my case, lease) a car but if you're interested in a Mazda this is the place to go! I walked in with a quote from another Mazda deal in which the salesman, Rich DuPont, promised to beat (I know, sounds gimmicky). After explaining to him what I had been told, he came back to me with a better offer and then an even better one which I ended up signing the papers that day. I had a previous lease through Ford that they were able to "ground" and end the lease right then and there. Fun fact: they have a partner Lincoln dealer next door which was able to take my Ford back to the dealer to make the process incredibly simple. I walked in at 12:15pm and picked my car up at 4pm. Everything was explained thoroughly and with honesty which you don't always get from car dealers. The GM Kevin also was a huge help with my pickup and was a sport when dealing with my friend's insistent and persistent negotiations on the price. Uncomfortably shady experience...put out a feeler for a quote through costco's auto buying program & was referred to another dealership, but since I've never used this program before I wanted to see just how competitive their pricing was, and since I was in the neighborhood I stopped into bright bay to check out the cx-5 I was in the market for As it turns out their "best price" wasn't even close, until of course I put my cards on the table & showed them the Costco numbers, then magically they were a Costco authorized dealer too & could match that price, but totally low balled me on the trade in seemingly in an attempt to recoup what $$ they felt they were losing on the deal, and as car sales always go as soon as I was ready to walk magically the offer went up a few bucks but still way too low, now the back & forth game of calling the used car manager began and my patience went right out the window - it was at this point i elected to tell them to figure out a final number and call me when they had their ducks in a row. Within an hour I get a voicemail with a whole story about how the owner was very upset they didn't get the deal closed because they have to get that car I wanted off the lot this weekend (it had been delivered that morning - wasn't even inventoried yet!) and so they'd go up a little more on the trade in Tired of the games & questioning their sincerity I gave Costco a call - turns out they're not an authorized program dealership after all...understandably this left me very hesitant to deal with them any further, but i elected to keep their offer in mind and see what another dealership might offer me...in 45 minutes at Wantagh Mazda I had the costco price matched and my trade in for three times what these guys tried to offer me Lesson learned - never again read more

I bought a brand new 2018 Mazda3 from Bright Bay Mazda about 8 months ago. They succeeded in convincing my wife and I into getting the 6-year extended warranty for the car, promising that as a family owned business, they would provide us with the best customer support, that I would be given a loaner car if needed, etc, etc. So, about a month ago I went on a trip to Niagara Falls with my family and while driving on a quiet boulevard, with nice weather and no cars nor buildings nearby, my moonroof just exploded! It sounded like a couple of gunshots coming from the top, it was quite scary but thankfully the moonroof lid cover was closed and nobody in my family got injured... Fast track to today, Bright Bay was polite to us when we arrived with the car, telling us not to worry, that they were going to do their best to help us with this situation... A few days later we get a call from their service department and they are saying that an object must have hit the car and that there is nothing they can do for us, that we are going to have to go through insurance. Just think about this, we got no loaner, no logical explanation, no help, we got absolutely NOTHING from this dealership. It's been almost a month since the incident, the car is sitting in a body shop and we had been working things out with our insurance. The worst part of all this is that a couple of days back (after a lot of emails and calls) Mazda Corporate had decided to help us out with some of the repairs! Yes! They asked me to dismiss my insurance claim, that they were going to take care of the moonroof situation for us... but not so fast, just today this dealership had the guts to convince Mazda Customer Experience not to help us!! We were already told the moonroof was going to be covered but now they are asking us to resume our insurance claim, saying that they apologize for the confusion but that there's nothing they can do for us since the dealership told them that an object had to have hit the car for this to happen! It's 11:30pm and I have to go to work tomorrow but I just can't compute what is going on with this people, how is it so hard to help your customers? Get this, moonroof explosions are a well documented issue, there are multiple articles in Consumer Reports about this. There have been a couple recalls from some other brands, it is a known problem that can happen over when there's a glass manufacturing defect... Mazda is not a known shattering moonroof offender but that doesn't hide that it's extremely easy to find dozens of people comparing about this exact same problem on their forums! Yet here we are, still in shock with this situation and unable to understand why this dealership has tried to do everything in their power to not allow us to get any help or consideration either from them or from Mazda Corporate. Not to mention that I have been left waiting on the phone for something like 10 minutes+ multiple times, they have hung up on me (either by mistake or not) twice, and both yesterday and today told me that I was going to get a call back from Ken, the service manager, and guess what? Nothing, no callback, no help! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!! They might treat you wonderfully in order to sell these very nice cars but if you were have any sort of problem with your car... they will just be straight up nasty to you as a costumer, dismissing you completely. I'm not the kind of person to write reviews at all, but this has been beyond unacceptable, just a total disgrace and disservice to the Mazda brand and to their own business. In regards to their service center: Front desk is very nice. Recently came in for an oil change, upsold to a tire rotation with a running special that cost an additional $15. Left with unbalanced tires that shook my steering wheel furiously at 60. Went back to the service center to discuss if the rotation included balancing. I am very pleased with the service department in comparison to Mazda 112. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. They service my vehicle quickly and offer very competitive pricing with their coupons and offers. When I had an unusual issue with my car wheel paint, the service director Ken stepped up and got my issue addressed quickly. I normally buy via the internet as I dislike going to dealers but Christian did a great job answering my emails (@ 6am) so obviously dedicated and I drove 40 miles to this dealer when there is ones closer to me. Just had a great experience here, having some factory recalls performed on my Suzuki SX4. Bright Bay is one of the very few remaining Service Providers for Suzuki. I arrived without a scheduled appointment, assuming parts would have to be ordered and was pleasantly surprised when the Service Dept. eagerly assisted me in determining all the outstanding recalls for my car, while the Parts dept. quickly determined that all required parts were in stock.
