This puts added pressure on the RV's hydraulic brakes. I called the InvisiBrake's manufacturer, Roadmaster Inc, for assistance. They gave us the name of Humphrey's to have it checked. I called them and they got us in as soon as we arrived. They were able to troubleshoot and repair the problem (blown fuse and a wire that came loose) for a very reasonable charge. We were back on the road in about 3 hours, which included the mechanic's 1 hour lunch break. These folks were very friendly, knew what they were doing, and got the job done quickly and for a good price. I would definitely check with Humphrey's for your hitch & trailer needs in the Pensacola area.

Then I went in to get my tires rotated. The serviceman told me that my lug nuts had sleeves on them and that when they start slipping you won't be able to get the lug nuts off easy. He suggested I have new ones installed without sleeves on them. I said ok and they put new ones on for $117.00. They were fine at first, then after 2 years they started to rust. When the points of the lug nuts rust they round off when you try to remove them. Chrome lug nuts aren't supposed to rust. So, asked Troy to replace them or refund my purchase price. He said no but would give me an oil change that cost the same as the lugs nuts. I can get a oil change at the Ford dealer for $60. So, I ended up buying new lug nuts and installing myself. While changing them I found out that one lug nut was a different size than all the rest. So, If I would have got a flat while traveling I would have not known that and would have had no lug wrench to change that one lug nut. I would have been stuck on the side of the road. No Thanks Fausack, you have lost a good customer... Customer beware.....

No way should they have needed to keep my car overnight; I dropped it off in the morning and was told I'd get an estimate later that day, yet I only got the same vague "you need a new transmission" answer the next day. They quoted $4k-$6k for a replacement CVT without providing the live data, freeze-frame data, or proof I requested. I was shown a jar of dark fluid with metal debris, but there was no confirmation it was from my car. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed to put it mildly. This was more about selling a transmission replacement than giving me the thorough CVT diagnostic I paid for. I would not recommend this shop.

Back in July I brought my E450 cab in for warranty work. I was told I had to pay for an hour of…read morediagnostic time for each issue and it would be waived if the problem was found to be covered under warranty. This is a factory extended warranty. I have had this type of warranty with other manufacturers and never had to pay any type of diagnostic fees. I was a little put off but authorized it. An oil leak was covered under warranty but the other issue I had with the ambient lighting was still in question. The service writer called me to let me know that the tech had three hours diagnosing the issue but still had now answer. At this time i was told I needed to authorize more diagnostic time to the tune of roughly $800. At this point I told them to stop and I would pick it up and decide what I wanted to do. My next call was to the original selling dealer, MB of Bonita Springs. This is where the extended warranty was purchased. I spoke with the GM and explained my issue. He put me in contact with their head service writer and made an appointment for service down there. I asked if I was going to have to pay for diagnostic time. His response was "your vehicle is under warranty, so no". I dropped the car off and within 30 minutes I get a call back to let me know there was an electrical connector unplugged under the dashboard. Keep in mind that drive was 18 hours round trip. So either Centennial was either trying completely rip me off or they have no idea what they are doing. Either way it's unacceptable. Most recent encounter. I had a problem with the convertible top. I had the tech at the independent shop that does maintenance on the car look at it and he suggested I take it to the dealer. Reluctantly I brought it back to Centennial. The car sat there a week after my appointment before they looked at it. I was then told it was going to be $6300 for the repair. $3100 labor and $3200 for parts. You guessed it, I picked up the car and brought it to Johnson's Trim Shop. $75 for parts and $400 labor. Top works flawlessly now. I've only been there twice and won't be back.

From the moment…read moreI dropped my car off on 1/21/26, my assigned service advisor, Chris Foushee, was condescending, dismissive, and vague whenever I asked questions about my vehicle. Prior to bringing my car in, I already had a documented diagnosis of a coolant leak from another repair shop, received while getting an oil change, and my vehicle was actively displaying a "Check Coolant Level" warning light. Despite providing this information, Chris told me I had no choice but to pay for an additional diagnostic fee, even with paperwork clearly documenting the issue. This was communicated in a dismissive and unhelpful manner. The situation escalated on 2/2/26 when Chris informed me via text that another leak was found after initial repairs. When I politely asked what repairs had already been completed (a reasonable question for a paying customer), he responded with two long messages written entirely in ALL CAPS that were rude, passive-aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Immediately after, he mistakenly sent me a message meant for another customer that was polite, detailed, and even offered an updated invoice--treatment I never received. I have records of all communication. When confronted, Chris attempted to excuse his behavior by saying the all-caps messages were accidental and later said he was "sorry I took it that way." The lack of accountability was just as disappointing as the behavior itself. Due to this experience, we will no longer be using Centennial Imports and will be taking our business to the Mercedes dealership in Mobile. No paying customer deserves to be treated this way.

Also, I asked them to look at the front hubs and lockers on my 4x4 truck. It's been one week, and the hubs are humming badly while I'm on a family trip. Guess I'll have to bring it to a shop that knows 4x4 trucks and gets the job done right the first time and not the third.
