I went in today to purchase parts for my Nissan. I'm a regular and it is so so clear that Dom (manager) is, and WILL ALWAYS BE the main chingon there. I'd hire him at my company in the quickness. Always very professional and keeps his cool for the newbys lol . Some of The newbys there have been there for MONTHS and still need to be held by the hand over simple things. If I worked there I'd be learning as much as I can from that guy. 10/10 read more

I placed an online order for pick up on a Sunday when I was working on my car. I got side tracked with exams throughout the week I called as soon as I had a minute and inquired why I never received the email. When I called into the store I was informed that it was never pulled and they were going to pull it right now. If I can just put ZERO stars. Worst autozone ever. Went back 4 times just for a brake light. First excuse and second excuse = no one to install it. Third excuse they have staff to install it but no parts available in the store. Needs hanford store to bring it to them. Fourth excuse, finally, they have it BUT NO ONE TO INSTALL. Apparently its just a courtesy for them to install it. But they suggested to come in a specific time, and I did. And still NOTHING. Wow, just wow autozone. read more

If it would allow me write a review without a star I would!! I not only got no service, no help but the pretty boys (insert sarcasm here) they wouldn't even help this poor lady put oil in her car. She did not have hood stand and was trying to get the oil cap off. The hood slipped and closed right on her hand. I help her hold the hood up. And we got whom I assume is a manager or lead in charge today to twist cap off. Then he just walked away. However he was more than happy to help the 2 men working on their car in parking lot. Rude rude and no worth shopping there again. I thought we were supposed to help our brothers and sisters. Not at this place! Nobody wants to get their hands dirty! Went here to pick up a battery that my friend ordered. I saw the sign "free battery testing", and because my car has had to get jumped maybe once or twice a month, i decided it was time to get my battery looked at. Claire (hope i spelled that right) came out and tested the battery, and determined that it was bad. I was glad that the battery was bad and not the alternator. So I bought a battery for my car there too, Claire came out, showed me how to remove my battery, did 99% of the work, and still taught me how to do the job, which i was very thankful for. Then she did corrosion prevention and again doing 99% of the work installed my new battery. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very upbeat despite being out in the Lemoore sun for a little while. I will definitely be going back here for any more car parts i might need. I had awesome service about a week ago.. My battery was bad, my car barely made it there. I had them check it to be sure. I needed a new one. I know it's part of there job to assist with replacement of battery, but I felt like he went above and beyond. Very professional and friendly. He made a very stressful situation an enjoyable one. I work on cars for a living and only went in to have a battery tested because it was needed for a friend. The guy behind the counter who was young and seemed new tested the battery. Said it was at 12.4 volts and its good. I asked how many cold cranking amps it has and he said he tester didn't do that. I asked how do you test batteries? He tried to explain to me that it was a 12 volt battery and it has 12 volts so it good. I again asked why they don't check cold cranking amps and he shrugged his shoulders. Do not trust this place to test batteries, or anything for that matter. The employees are clearly not trained to use the equipment in the store. read more

I have been going to this store since they opened many years ago, even before they were still Chiefs Auto Parts located where Popeye is situated now. Over the years I have seen new employees come and go. I have dealt with them as professionally as I could because I know majority of them are young and inexperience. Last week, I was being helped with yet another new and inexperience employee. I was returning an Oil Filter that I purchased an hour before because the filter that was given to me by another employee did not fit my truck, although the number on the box and on the filter matched their computer for my truck. I informed the young kid that I needed to get another filter because the thread on the filter did not fit my truck. He insisted that it is the right filter according to their computer. I explained to him that I could only get couple of turns on the thread and it won't turn any further, and that if I tried to force it in that it would cross the thread. He said that I was putting it in wrong, and that I needed a tool to tighten it and he started talking about selling me one. I said, first of all I have been working on cars way before I even knew how to drive. Changing an oil filter is not a rocket science. So, for an employee to tell me that I was doing it wrong, and to use a tool to install an oil filter just irritated the heck out of me. It is an insult to someone even with a basic knowledge about engine. On top that, his supervisor, a female wearing gray shirt says that normally once a part is installed that they can no longer take it back. True to some extent. But, I reiterated to the supervisor that I was not able to install the filter because it would'nt fit my truck! Therefore they need to give me the right part. I even welcome her to come to my house where my truck is waiting for the filter to try to install it herself to ensure I was not lying! She said, we will do it this time, but next time I will have you talk to the manager. I said lady, don't do me a favor. I don't have a problem talking to the owner, even to the corporate office if need be. I need the correct filter! The moral of this story, they need to screen better qualified employees who can give sound and accurate advices to customers. I can just imagine how many customers were told to use a tool to tighten an oil filter, and how many of this tool were sold! Pay attention to what they are telling you. They think they know what they are talking about, but they are not mechanics! read more

Was on I-5 near intersection of HWY 198 when all the lights on the dash started blinking on my Subaru Outback. Called a friend and he said go to Auto Zone and have them diagnose. Luckily, there is this Auto Zone in Lemoore, which was the closest one. A young woman who works there read the code and said it was showing something to do with a coolant sensor, but she really suspected alternator or battery. She tested the battery and it came out bad. Dominic, the manager, then came out with his tools and battery terminal cleaner and cleaned my terminals, which solved the problem for now. He said it looked like the battery should still be under warranty, so take it back where I got it when I get home. This service and the attitude everyone there had was the best I have ever encountered at an auto parts store. They went way above and beyond, and there were lots of customers, but enough staff to handle everyone. When employees are that happy in their jobs, it speaks of great management. read more

My first place I check when I need something. They know what they are talking about, what I am talking about, and usually have pretty good advice. Jeff is awesome. If for some reason, they don't have what I need, they can usually get it fairly quickly. To future Auto Zone customers, I purchased some studs for the front rotors for my Camaro less than a year later they snapped off of the car while my son was driving on highway 198 so I went to talk to the managers at auto zone to let them know what happens with their product. The manager then asked how I knew the product came from there? When I've only purchased car parts from them. What makes me mad is then he tells me that even though I bought then there and he was able to find the purchase on his computer, he can not do anything about the rotors since I did not have a receipt.
