They will give u A hard time while u there with needing help with anything and when I be looking up parts for my car they be trying to charge me arm and legs for stuff that don't even needs to be charge that much, I called An auto zone that was not by my house and they gave me a decent price for the part for my car the only reason why I called them is because they are close to my house and I was hoping that they don't give me no problems but my hopes was too high they talking about the part was 147 for it then when I asked her why it's that much and I went to another autozone and they gave me A lower price the lady real like argued with me on the phone,long story short this store is nasty they don't Make u feel welcomed and don't help u with anything they be trying to take everything out of you're pockets. read more

A few months ago I went to this Auto Zone but it wasn't my first choice. There are two other auto shops in the same area. The first one I walked in to get a quote on brake pads. The two Latin women glared at me. Whoa!! What the hell is going on?? I got the quote and after she told me the prices she added, in a loud hostile voice, but we can't put them on for you! Me: WTF!!!! why did you think I would ask you to do that??? This is not an auto mechanic shop. I stormed out. Those chicks have issues! The next one was O'Reilly or something like that. I walked in and there were a couple of male employees. Sadly I have found that being a woman, it seems some men think I am not welcome in their manly world. I stood there while one guy looked at me. I was waiting for a can I help you or something but nope. The other guy was on a computer. I was like really?? Neither acknowledged me. I walked out and as I was the one looking at me yelled out, he will help you! Come back he will help you. WHATEVER!!!! I went to auto zone. Vontrelle was there. (if that's how not to spell your name, my apologies!) He assisted me and looked up the pads and gave me price quotes for different brands and told me about the lifetime guarantee and such. He said he will keep the record of my purchase in the computer going by my phone number. That was a very quick easy purchase and I headed to the mechanic to have my pads put on. Recently, about two weeks ago, I went in to have my battery checked. I had left my lights on a few times and wanted to make sure it was ok. Auto Zone will check it for free. Marcus greeted me upon entering. I told him what I was there for and he immediately grabbed the charger and told me he would check it now. We went to my car, he checked it and told me, to my relief, that my battery is fully charged! Yay!! I wanted to give credit where it is due. These guys were quick to help me and very thorough. Horrid service. Store manager is a complete jerk. We needed a common gas support strut and instead of simply crossing the Gabriel number that was on it he gave my wife a very hard time. My boyfriend got a flat tire at around 8:30 pm on his way from work, and managed to "crawl" to this facility for help. He in fact didn't need any help, he had his compressor for the air in trunk. He went inside to buy something that would repair the hole (i can't say exactly what it was, not very proficient with automotive stuff) and asked the manager (don't know the name, always forget to ask. That was an African-american lady) to let him plug his air compressor in, so he can repair the tire outside and leave. I want to mention again, that he was a CUSTOMER at that point, as he purchased some $45 worth of substance for repairing. The lady said: "Yeah, no problem. We close at 9, but you may totally use the plug while we clean". "What a nice lady", he thought, and went outside to mind his own business aka repair the tire. It was 9:01 ( i am not even making this up right now) when he was done and needed to add the air. Knocked on the door to plug it in, and heard: "Um, nope, we are closed now". He was surprised: "You said it was fine". The manager just shut the door in front of his face. He called me to come over and pick him up, as he couldn't get home with the flat tire. I arrived 10 minutes later, and said: You might have not asked nicely enough, let me try. I wanna mention: we didn't try to go inside the facility, just plug in compressor, get the air in, leave. I went to knock on the door: they were walking around showing off we don't exist. Not even bothering themselves to say: sorry no. Here comes the point of my complaint: 1. They were cleaning up until 9:30-9:45, they could have helped us out (from humane point of view); 2. Autozone is not a restaurant, or a bar, where i showed up with my tire issue. It is a automotive parts retailer, suppose to make your car feel better; 3. If she would have not promised to allow him using the electricity outlet, he would have went to a gas station or something while his tire still held some air, and was on the truck; 4. They pretended we never existed, just ignored us. 5. We were not soliciting, we were CUSTOMERS, and deserved some respect if the establishment trained their management team to try retaining customers. Interesting, how one location shades out the whole nationwide chain. We had to wait for a tow truck, and sat at that parking lot until midnight. read more

Buy a battery 3 years warranty and when I wanted to replace I was told that it was not in the system... What a bad service...

I had an issue with my battery dying and while I received excellent help from Cyrus on my first visit who helped me with the battery and gave me advice on needing to get the positive charge cable replaced (which I did the very next day) I was told the battery I received was faulty. Now me being no expert I am looking to the professionals for their expertise and if I'm told the battery is faulty I'm none the wiser especially not until it is placed in the car. Since the repair shop advised me of this I attempted to return the battery and was told I could not since it had already been installed in my car. After I complained to a manager he advised me he could pull up my receipt only for the purpose of an exchange but not to refund me my money. I can't imagine what the difference is. I work in customer service and you never know a person's circumstance and having just left the hospital visiting my uncle who passed the very next day I was in a very fragile state and had misplaced the receipt. I WILL NEVER visit this location again and hope no one else happening to have a bad day walks into this store it'll turn out worse. Now I have an extra battery I have no use for and I'm out $140. read more

If I could rate 0 stars, I would..I went in with my boyfriend's car needing terminal caps for his battery. The woman said they didn't have any, so I asked if she could jumpstart my car so I can get to a location where I can purchase them. She tried for like 2 minutes and the car wouldn't start. Her manager said they could not jumpstart me with another car and advised me to call a friend that could help me...CALL A FRIEND? this is a place that is known for assisting people with their batteries! so lucky enough for me, I had a friend who was willing to come and help me at 8:30 in the morning and take me to the BEST service I received at the Pepboys in Davie, Fl. Thank God for them because I literally am beyond disgusted with the no service, ridiculousness I received at AutoZone...with homeless people sleeping in their cars in front of the shop! never, ever again! read more

Customer skills need help. When I walked through the door I was halfway in the store before I was greeted by the front employee. After I was directed to where I could pick up my desired product by the second employee, who could of made it easier for me to pick it up by waking me there since no one else was in the store, the two employees started having a side conversation. I'd I did not interrupt them within 1minute of their conversation they would of left me standing there waiting. The second employee finally comes to help me and he informs the first employee that he needs his code to get on the register, who response "I know," but decides to get on the phone and another 2 minute elapse as we wait. So I figure I should hand the second employee cash instead for my product and he states, "oh, if you have card I can use the other computer." I wonder why he didn't ask that prior.
