We didn't really want to come here in the first place because honestly, who wants to spend money towards fixing a car? One tire blew on our older Toyota and we had to get it towed somewhere so we chose here because we recently came here to get the same car an oil change. This time, we just decided to go ahead and get 4 brand new tires. The customer service here is spot on! Everything is explained and if you have a question, it's not a bother. At all! All I have to say is, if I was the owner of that establishment, I would fire everyone for making my business loose money. I went in there looking for a patch job it 5:01pm and the garage is open. The website says open until 5:30pm; but when you get there is 5:00pm. Then I wasn't even greeted properly, the man at the register just raised his eye brows. Had to get my air conditioning fixed because... hello it's Florida heat! Well I went and got a quote and boy are they good pricing. They went over all of the details and explained it to me since I'm not a car person (shocker!!!) replaced my condenser which mine was over 12 years old so I definitely needed it. They gave me a quote of $100 total to install a trailor hitch for up to 2 hours of labor at $50/hr when I initially called. Then when I went there it was increased to $100/hr for labor. When I had the installation they said it took 1.8 hours to install a class 1 hitch with no wiring on a camry, which is absurd for professionals to take that long. It would normally take at most 30 minutes to an hour. I do not recommend this place. They're not trustworthy. read more

Highly recommend Dixie Auto Repair! Everyone is courteous, professional and timely. Bruce at the front desk is amazing. He listened as I expressed small issues with the A/C in 28 year old E36. Then gave me a reasonable time frame and cost to bring my A/C in spec. At payment, he gave me tips on additives to use to keep my engine running smoother,cleaner and longer.... I need to give a huge shout out to Dixie Auto Repair in Wilton Manors. He saved the day and got us out the door to make our 11am appt.  We had a full day of photo shoots yesterday and on our way east I hit something on 595. Whatever it was it took out the splash guard under the car and I dragged it all the way east.  Mia and I pulled over to check the damage and no less when I looked up there was our saving grace David from Dixie Auto Repair. I do have to admit I was nervous especially because I had my daughter with me. I never had a car issue with my kids in the car.   David and his crew took care such good care of us. They were super friendly and made us feel extremely comfortable.   Not only did he fix my car and get me on the road he REFUSED to charge me. He said "I'm paying it back to you because you guys are doing good for others today and it's the least, I can do."  Both Mia and I wanted to give him a big huge hug. We were so touched and couldn't believe he was doing this.
