"Stack them deep, sell them cheap" -your shady used car salesman…read more I'll start by stating I did my basic due diligence, ran a CARFAX on the vehicle I was interested in, which showed they acquired it from dealer auction and had it in their inventory for about two months. Called in advance to ensure it was there and was told it was a very nice vehicle, clean and drove great. Drove over 2hrs and wasn't even sure the vehicle was still there, why you wonder? Because it looked nothing like the ad, way worse shape then how it was presented. To start they spray painted the wheels black because "it looked better to cover the scrapes and gouges", which they did not even do a good job, it was a very lazy job, parts of the wheel missed and overspray was seen. The driver side mirror was broken off, the passenger side puddle lamp was dangling by its wires, about a half dozen lights bulbs out, brakes looked bad, front tires were bald, odor of a coolant leak from engine bay, dipstick showed low oil, interior was EXTREMELY neglected. They had two months to fix these things or at least clean the car for sale, but the owner simply doesn't care, he'll wait for the next sucker to walk through that door and to add to his moto "stack them deep, sell them cheap" will "watch them weep" when they leave the lot and that 30 day warranty doesn't cover much of anything. Oh and don't even bother mentioning anything to the owner regarding safety concerns with vehicles in his lot, he just rebounds to "it's a $4,500 vehicle what do you expect? As if he is the only one selling used vehicles and the standard is for them all to be on their last leg and well behind on routine maintenance.

Upon arriving home from a three weeks trip, I decided to go out with my Acura MDX for some errands…read more The Acura has been in the garage for the last three weeks and haven't been driven during that time. Previous to park the vehicle in the garage, I had driven to the Moo Moo car wash located in Chantry Dr., Columbus, OH, and the vehicle very likely was damaged while going through the car wash tunnel. The damage was noticed once I arrived from my trip (drove another vehicle). By chance I looked around the vehicle could not help but notice large and deep scratches (more like grooves really) in the left fender (passenger side) and going all the way to the front fascia/bumper. Those were large and deep scratches that likely were created by some strong mechanical arm that went around the fender and to the front fascia. The types of mechanical arms that one would find in a tunnel car wash. Eventually, I went to aforementioned Moo Moo and filed a complain as requested. After a while, I was contacted by the facility indicating that the my vehicle simply did not show on camera during the day and time specified in my receipt. Not only do I have the receipt but also the back from my credit card company that the transaction took place in that facility at the specified date and time. So, one can only infer that likely the video was edited (which is an easy task with today's video editing software). Even if they were to argue that the I was driving another vehicle, my person would still show on camera. Therefore, the only plausible and possible explanation is that the video was edited or what the employee said simply was not accurate. Now the most insane part of the story... How things transpired once I arrived at the location to hopefully look into the footage... Upon arriving at the location to verify the video footage, the employee went to room to look at the footage and after while returned and told me my vehicle simply did not show up on video which simply did not make sense. Then, the employee proceeded to say according to the company policy they only look into cases (referred as incidents) that occurred in the last 24 hours. Really? They damage your property and then they dictate if, when and how they will possibly looking into the damage that they themselves created? In which universe is that even acceptable? If I (and most reasonable people) would imagine that there would any meaningful chance of my vehicle be damaged in car wash, I simply would never take the vehicle to that car wash place to begin with - so, the idea of fully inspect the vehicle after a simple wash never occurred to me. Who in the heck would want to take a change to have his/her vehicle possibly damaged in something as trivial, mundane, basic and simple as a car wash? Who in the heck would want to deal such horrible headache, hassle and distress? And then, the ones who damaged your property will dictate if, how, and when, they will possibly look into addressing the damage that they themselves caused? They should have to pay not only to repair the damage that they caused, but also compensate us for the distress and disruption that they caused in our life. Ultimately, the whole situation could only be characterized as a clown show, and they must assume that you - the consumer -- are a lobotomized clown. NOTE: In case, anyone who has had his/her vehicle damaged by the aforementioned car wash company is interested in partaking in a legal class action lawsuit, please contact me.
