While he ended up sending one of his guys out to get the car on time, he (his employee) immediately said that the "catalytic converter" was bad (I had just recently put $1,000 into the car and had a full checkout of the car from the shop; this was never found to be an issue) and tried to now take it for $350, and this after showing up and saying that the settling price over the phone was $400. This "catalytic converter" problem was apparently what his boss had said when he sent him a picture of the car. Since I was from out of town, I wasn't going to have any major qualms and settled with $400 but figured I'd write this review. So, by all means use Nick's Cash for Junk Cars, but just be ready with backup offers and others on hand so that he doesn't slash you for the little money that you'll end up getting anyways.

If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there.
