Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. CJ Pony Parts UPDATED BUYER BEWARE EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!!…read more Ok this is an update I wish I wasn't making. After posting my review on here, I was connected by Pony trying to resolve the issue. I was pleasantly surprised and excited "at least maybe I'll get some sort of credit" I thought. Well,,, that was wishful thinking. I was passed around to multiple people, some of which I am pretty sure I had already dealt with, when I first started contacting them with my issue. What was there amazing Idea you ask to fix the situation. That I again take the carburetor to my mechanic, pay him again, to attempt to try and get it working, and then contact Edlebrock so they could trouble shoot the problem. Keep in mind, I already paid my mechanic, he contacted CJ Pony and attempted to get the carburetor working with there service dept to no avail. So we ended up fixing my original carb. (see previous post) But now after all that, let me pay to attempt it again, and this time Edlebrock sure will be able to think of something else. there is quite clearly something wrong with the carb. On top of that, they also mention that they wouldn't even take the carb back because fuel had run through it. So what you're telling me is if I had re paid my mechanic to waste his time and attempt it again- it wouldn't even matter because I still can not return it. You are making zero sense CJ Pony. So again. buyer beware, know what your buying, and know that once you get it, well it probably won't matter at all. for the record even a partial credit would have been nice! at least an attempt to make me happy. meanwhile now i have a carb sitting in my living room that I cant even try to sell, cause I dont know what wrong with it. My experience was average, no complaints here…read more A light came on in my Mitsubishi Outlander, so I brought it in (I don't live in the area) just in case. They ran diagnostics and determined that it was a software glitch. Charged me for 1 hour of labor, which I felt was fair, though I'll need to go to a Mitsubishi dealership to get the update needed. Lobby was clean and bright. Hours are tight, and be sure you don't leave your car overnight. It's located in an alley, and I think the signage could be improved to direct customers. They sent me home with the bulletin explaining my problem and were quick to fit me into the schedule on relatively short notice. If you need your car fixed, they can surely take care of you.

They told me I needed new brakes and rotors, which I purchased and they installed.. 1 week later my brake and traction warning lights were on. My car is driving fine, as always. No issues whatsoever, Just the warning lights. I took back to pep boys for a diagnosis. They said I needed a new master cylinder and new alternator. DO NOT take your vehicle here if you want an honest mechanic. I had 2 other reputable mechanics look at my vehicle after Pep Boys $2,000 diagnosis for a new master and alternator, with no explanation why or how.. Just the response," thats what came up" with apparently no other explanation.. I paid yet another diagnosic bill, then left for more opinions. The "problems" and lights were all fixed simply by installing a new $200 battery. That is all that was ever needed. I am so disappointed by these actions. Roy Nye was our mechanic for 20 yrs there. Sadly he passed away. Huge loss for Pep Boys. He was the last of the good ones. Time to change!

They sent the wrong item to me, then charged me restocking fees, shipping fees, and had horrible customer service. All I wanted was them to do was exchange the wrong part for the part I needed and ordered in the first place and they could not accommodate me. I tried this place and got burnt. The cover was DEFECTIVE, it would not fit my truck even though it was the model for my truck. After having to call several times, Ralph with Hebron had a return pick up label sent. After tracking and verifying they received their product back, I called and spoke with Charles who assured me that a refund would take 24-48 hours. I said ok, Well long story short, after NOT seeing my refund AND calling every 2 days for 2 1/2 weeks because I kept getting the " it will be there, keep looking" , "let me talk to my finance guy" and best of all, "oh, the guy that processes the returns is not here this week " line!!! Sooo no one else can process a return for a customer after 2 weeks?? I knew I was getting the run around, so I finally called and opened a case with PayPal and got my money back a week later. I am confident they would NOT have returned my money had PayPal not got involved. DO NOT BUY regardless how cheap they offer their product!!!!!! ZERO STARS!
