CJ Pony Parts UPDATED BUYER BEWARE EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!! Ok this is an update I wish I wasn't making. After posting my review on here, I was connected by Pony trying to resolve the issue. I was pleasantly surprised and excited "at least maybe I'll get some sort of credit" I thought. Well,,, that was wishful thinking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was passed around to multiple people, some of which I am pretty sure I had already dealt with, when I first started contacting them with my issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What was there amazing Idea you ask to fix the situation. That I again take the carburetor to my mechanic, pay him again, to attempt to try and get it working, and then contact Edlebrock so they could trouble shoot the problem. Keep in mind, I already paid my mechanic, he contacted CJ Pony and attempted to get the carburetor working with there service dept to no avail. So we ended up fixing my original carb. (see previous post) But now after all that, let me pay to attempt it again, and this time Edlebrock sure will be able to think of something else. there is quite clearly something wrong with the carb. On top of that, they also mention that they wouldn't even take the carb back because fuel had run through it. So what you're telling me is if I had re paid my mechanic to waste his time and attempt it again- it wouldn't even matter because I still can not return it. You are making zero sense CJ Pony. So again. buyer beware, know what your buying, and know that once you get it, well it probably won't matter at all. for the record even a partial credit would have been nice! at least an attempt to make me happy. meanwhile now i have a carb sitting in my living room that I cant even try to sell, cause I dont know what wrong with it. I spent $1500 on parts for a Mustang restore. During the process I recieved someone elses order, when I called in to get help on a specific part and I ordered it , it ending up being the wrong item. Now that I am done with the project and returning wrong items they are telling me that some are out of the return window. Even parts they sent that were wrong. I'm very disappointed in the upholstery problem I had. Ordered complete upholstery for the front seats of my 2005 Mustang. It arrived with problems in the fitting because they left out a necessary band in the lumbar area of the material so there was no way to hog ring it to "the seat listing bar". Sent it back and received it later and discovered they only sewed in a strip and I had to call back again and explain that this strip of material had to be sewn into to the material all across the lumbar area so it could be hog ringed into the lumbar area of the seat on "the listing bar". ATTN CJ PONY PARTS: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE SO FAR!! Eleven days ago I ordered a power front disc brake kit for my 1965, 6cyl Ford Mustang. The invoice number is 77469452. My installer started the install yesterday. He completed the left front install. When he went to start the right front, he found that the sealed plastic bag with the wheel bearings inside, was missing the wheel bearing grease seal. I called your company yesterday and the parts department said they would ship me the seal overnight. About an hour later I got an email describing the part that was shipped, I saw that he had sent the wrong seal. He sent a seal for a V8 brake kit. My kit was for a V6. The seal he sent will not work. I called back and spoke to the same parts employee. He said that he could not get the seal that I needed. I asked that someone go get the seal from a kit because my installer was half way through the install and my car was tying up his bay. He said that he would transfer me to customer service. I was then on hold for 40 minutes only to be disconnected around 5:45 pm. I immediately called back and never got anyone to answer my call, well after 5PM. Today I called back to customer service and spoke to a Tyree. He said that he would see what he could do and would put me on hold. I pleaded with him to please call me back if we got disconnected and he said he had my phone number and would call me if we got disconnected. He put me on hold for over a half an hour. I finally hung up and called back. Got Tyree again. He said that he emailed a tech and that he (Tyree) was going to send me an email with his findings, once he heard back from the tech. HE DIDN'T EVEN CHECK ON ME WHILE ON HOLD FOR OVER A HALF HOUR OR CALL ME BACK AS PROMISED. Tyree then told me that he did not have a number for me to call the corporate office for help. I asked him to walk down the hall and get a supervisor. He said he worked remotely and was not at the office. He said that he could transfer me to a "Lead" who worked at the warehouse. He put me on hold again and after half an hour of holding, I just gave up and hung up. Once again Tyree did not even bother to check back with me. I called corporate. No answer. Left voicemails. No response. All I need is the grease seal that was not shipped in the specific kit that I ordered. We cannot complete the install and we cannot drive the car until we receive that seal. I need someone at the warehouse to open a kit, get that solid black, approximately 2" grease seal, that comes in the specific kit that I ordered and overnight it to me today.
