I ordered a remanufactured one from Autozone and their vendor was not able to provide them one after a 2 week wait. I found Northlake Auto Recyclers online and they had the head I needed in stock and already pulled. It was off a 2018 Dodge Journey. Cost for the head was $125. They come with a disclaimer that heads are for use as cores to be rebuilt only and are only guaranteed not to be cracked or warped. I took the head to a machine shop and the tech said it was in such good condition that he did not recommend rebuilding it and only did a quick milling of the sealing surfaces to be sure it was true and clean for the head gasket. Just started up the car and it runs great. I highly recommend this place. It is not a junkyard. It is more similar to a parts store but all the parts are used. You go in, tell the guys at the counter what you want, and they go in back and get it off a shelf for you. They have tons of parts for late model cars. The employee said they specialize in cars 7 years and newer.

I found out later that she didn't know what the hell she was talking about and I wasted my time and money. I had to go to another store and get what I needed later that night. I just went to the store yesterday for a few things, I was in line for 20+ mins because she was taking forever to ring up the other customers talking and making recommendations. I put my items on the counter and she's asking what car I'm buying the coolant for, I tell her (even though I didn't want unwarranted advice from her). She questioned my decision and told me that I can return them if they are unopened. I ignored her, paid and took my receipt. She gives me my receipt and says something disrespectful and unnecessary under her breath as she walks away. This is unacceptable behavior, ring up my items and shut the hell up. I didn't ask for your advice. You sell auto parts, you don't fix cars. Just because I give you the make and model of my vehicle doesn't mean you know what my setup is. You don't know if I have the original motor or not. You don't know anything about me or my vehicle. I'll never go back again. They need to get rid of that tempermental asshole that thinks she knows anything about cars.

He rolls his eyes and say pull up in the fron. Me and fiance were in seperate cars so he goes to his car and starts to pull off and I bring my car to the front.
