I was not asking them to replace my battery or perform any major work. During the battery testing process, part of my battery/connection was damaged. When I brought the issue to their attention, the staff and manager did not want to take responsibility or even acknowledge that they may have caused the damage. Even worse, the manager directly accused me of lying about the situation and what had happened to my vehicle. I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to inspect the problem and help resolve it, I was essentially told to stay out of the store and contact corporate. What started as a simple request to test my battery turned into a much bigger problem. My vehicle ended up with absolutely no power -- no lights, no electronics, and I couldn't even lock the car. I did exactly what I was told and contacted corporate, but unfortunately they were not much help either. I was basically told that they could address the one cable that was damaged, but that the rest of the problem was my responsibility. That is extremely frustrating considering I came into the store for a simple battery test and left with a much bigger issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. Instead of taking the situation seriously, investigating what happened, and working with me toward a solution, I was accused of lying, told to stay out of the store, and then sent to corporate. Corporate ultimately did not provide a solution for the full problem either. Very poor customer service from both the store and corporate. I came in for a simple battery test and ended up dealing with a damaged connection, a vehicle with no power, being accused of lying, and being left responsible for the rest of the problem. This was an extremely frustrating experience.

Well I knew if all the other corp auto stores had it they would also. After searching for a few minutes sure enough I found them and showed both guys who refused to get up from behind the counter and actually care to help. At least now they know they carry refill covers for the A/C unit.

Richard and his team are so very helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend any and everyone to stop in here. They do so much for the community and are true car guys. So if you're looking for a "thingy" for your car and don't know the name, they'll help you out and educate you along the way and offer a wide range of not just parts but services as well. I can say I'd highly recommend this place to get your off road lighting done. They're fairly priced. One place had quoted me 900$ to install my Diode Dynamic ditch lights and an Auxbeam gang switch panel into the vehicle but Auto and Truck Accessories got me in at 400$ with free stickers and a pen. I'm not too "electrical savvy" with things when it comes to vehicles but all of the wire work is very cleanly installed and works just as it should. They drilled small holes to fit all of the wiring and zip ties them into places so they don't move or get in the way of things in the engine bay. Very detailed work as it seems. They also answered all of the questions I had. So don't be afraid to ask. Another thing to mention, they called me plenty of times while they were servicing the vehicle to make sure I agree what they were working on as well BONUS: I had an unaligned gap on the hood of my vehicle so I had asked them if they would be able to realign it since I had messed up the installation of my brackets on my own. They were open to fixing it which saved me time of doing it myself so I respect them for doing that.

Sure enough I gave a visit and talked to Bill and he went out of his way to check on the specs of a new cap that could exceed in the high $3K and instead found in the used inventory a excellent cap that was the right size, color, and style and less than 1/2 the price of a new one. A "lottery win" moment for me. It took only 2 days to have it brought over from another location and was installed ahead of time because of the forecasted inclement Michigan weather. Unheard of customer service that was top notch from the walk-in door conversation, checking it out on the computer, and I have a cap that I'm beyond happy about. ;)

Took my truck to one place out in Redford and they never got back with me with a quote, so I searched on Google and found Mid-West Truck Accessories. I live closer to the Shelby Township shop so I called, spoke with Bill and took my vehicle in for the estimate. Everything from that moment to the day of pick-up was top notch customer service. I have an awesome tonneau cover and a shiny new bed liner. The cost was within range of what I was expecting to spend and adding the customer service is impeccable. I have a few other cosmetics I want to add so I am sure I will return to Mid-West to get the work done!! Good job guys!!!
