After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.

Scam alert..... Herb uses his high pressure sales tactics…read moreand pressures you on time crunch. He will push a sale upon you that was labeled the wrong grade. He will tell you he has to charge you for their time and effort even if you don't take the part. Will hop on this computer tell can't get the part anywhere else and says it's grade A condition for its age when grade A according to the site grade A means 0 (Herb that means none) damage. Lie and pressure till you pay. Requires you to give them a credit card before you even show up at the facility stating they needed deposit to remove the part from the vehicle and their lot. My mistake in purchasing from here. Left with a pit in my stomach feeling sick. Save your effort and money and learn from my mistake and money loss. What a shame looks like the owner has a nice business going there.
