Never been to Wichita Falls and about to run out of gas and it was late. Lost the key to the gas cap. My cell signal was scarce with no Internet. I had not eaten in days starving, stressed and frantic. Conserving gas I called asking if they carried Mopar locking gas caps to get a key and told them of my dire situation. The "man" looked it up with an affirmative answer so I used my precious gas to drive there. He was very helpful on the phone but willfully ignored me upon arrival. However, "Katie" informed me they don't carry Mopar. I did notice smiling glances between the pair and was confused but now it make sense. "Katie" giggled and said the answer to my problem was on Youtube. Unfortunately, she refused to offer any further details. I could tell from her smirk "help" was not gonna happen. Still, I pleaded with "Katie" to help me but she remained silent with that smirk. However, she did offer a screwdriver but this was useless without knowing how to use it for my problem. I even asked to sleep in their parking lot since it was late and "Katie" replied "probably not due to police patrols". So I left and managed a limp to Walmart for the night. I used their wifi and Youtube showed others putting a screw through the gas cap to prevent it from turning. That was the simple answer to my problem. Thus, I purchased a screwdriver and screw at Walmart. Why couldn't "Katie" be helpful to someone in trouble and provide the simple answer? Why didn't "Katie" either give or sell me a damn screw along with those minimal instructions? Why did the "man" tell me they carried Mopar locking gas caps? This would be an extremely positive review if "Katie" and the "man" did the right thing. "Katie" and the "man" who misled me are terrible employees and obviously got a thrill watching me struggle. Again, there were several smiling glances between the pair. They misled me to O'Reilly's aware of my dire situation. Otherwise, never would have set foot in this pathetic business. They offered no goodwill whatsoever. This is simply a matter of human decency. I have gone out of my way to help others and given money to those in need. I have paid others rent, purchased food, paid phone bills, etc. "Katie" and the "man" should be ashamed and trained on human decency but doubt it would help. Basically, they took pleasure in watching my plight and would not offer a glass of water to someone dying of thirst. Based on other reviews this is not an isolated event at this store. Look at the elderly woman they would not assist in a previous review. O'Reilly's offers "canned" responses to a plethora of negative reviews. Obviously, they embrace a world with no human decency. I was told they would not mount them because it was not the recommended tire size for my vehicle. SERIOUSLY?? Firstly, to think the Walmart Tire Center knows more about my vehicle and what it is capable of than I do is absurd. Secondly, I spent weeks researching the tire size that would work for my application. Just because a manufacturer recommends one tire size DOES NOT MEAN THAT'S THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS. Thirdly, if I had brought the same wheels and tires to them in the bed of a pickup truck, THEY WOULD HAVE MOUNTED THEM. If this is a corporate mandate, it's patently absurd and downright idiotic, not to mention there's no way to enforce it when wheels and tires are brought in off of a vehicle. STUPID. I have 8 vehicles that periodically require tires and rotations. Walmart just ensured that they will never receive any of my money at their auto center ever again. Groceries, yeah. But to tell me that they know best about my vehicle is insulting and fallacious.

Since it was cold and rainy this morning I went to go sit inside the waiting area and all the tire area employees saw that I had a dog, but didn't say a single word to me. After I was in the waiting for a few minutes the department manager came in and told me I had to leave the store because of my dog and he followed me all the way outside, so I have been sitting out in the rain and cold for well over an hour all because I have a small wiener dog with me. It would have been fine if there were signs up saying no dogs or even if when I looked it up but I didn't. I have been to plenty of other stores where I live and they allow dogs all the time. Now I would have been ok with it if it was dry, but it is tanning and they have my car so I have no where to sit away from the elements except for directly in them.

The guys over at 4 Wheel Performance definitely take advantage of this and go above and beyond for their customers. I've come in there multiple times for my steps not functioning properly. It's one of those issues that comes and goes. Not only are they knowledgeable about the systems but they always seem to try and get you in no matter how busy they are. For example, I called today asking if they were busy and if I could stop by if they weren't. Garrett was like "yeah we're slammed, but come on in and we'll look at it". As soon as I got there, they immediately got to work on trying to figure out the problem. Stuff like that you normally never hear from people, but these guys always seem to try and take care of everyone when they can. I would highly recommend you take any of your off-road/truck needs to these guys.

We pulled off the highway as white smoke came boiling out of the front. Local shops said they were unwilling to do the repair work, even if we paid. But buying a used vehicle right now is pretty expensive. We wanted to repair. Dave at Dr. Yakamoto's answered his phone and listened to me describe the issue. He didn't want to do the work, but for my family's sake he did it. After some diagnostics, it became clear that pretty much everything would need to be replaced. He did quality work for a fair price, work that nobody else wanted to do, work that required a lot of attention to detail and quality. He's also very personable. He has a good sense of quality, fairness, and integrity. He's the sort of repair man one imagines when watching the Andy Griffith Show. Not one of these big corporate outfits. He's salt of the earth. I felt great about working with him. A couple months later, our restored Sienna runs great.

He is also very misogynistic. I asked him to install coil overs and see if he could fix a power steering issue by cleaning a sensor. I spoke to him and confirmed that he was comfortable doing this before dropping the car off. The coil over install was fine, but the way he treated me was uncalled for and way out of line. He is unautomated and expects payment in cash, but doesn't tell you that up front. He told me it would take a day to install the coil overs, but he wasn't done at the end of the day. He kept it overnight which is ok, but I had to call him to check on the status. Before I dropped it off, I asked him where he puts the car if it's held overnight and he told me if the car stays overnight, it's parked on the lift to secure it and keep the cats off it. The second day he was waiting for someone to help him diagnose a second issue but told me if the car stayed overnight, he would park it outside. (It's a high theft vehicle and convertible so the cats would destroy the top) I asked him to let me know if his guy was coming before he closed so I could pick it up and asked him what time he closed. He wouldn't tell me but said if it's after 5, he'd be gone. His hours are 10-6 on Google and he also told me to drop the car off at 11. You can't get a straight answer from this guy and I still don't know what his labor rate is. Even if it's posted at his shop, there is too much junk to see anything. His shop is filthy and unkept and dirtier than some junkyards I've been to. Instead of answering a question, he would "mansplain" everything, then finally went into a mental meltdown and started to yell at me and put me down. He looked up the labor for the job and told me he was sure it would be less and gave me a quote, then he complained about how difficult the job was saying "lady, I did a lot of work for you" going into a mental breakdown an screaming at me. I didn't even say I had a problem with the charges and was willing to pay him the original labor, and was going to give a large tip if he stuck to his original quote. He criticized me for researching online, forget what he told me previously and say that he told me something else raising his voice are insulting me like I was his ex wife or something. He griped that I had my own parts, even though he told me to get my own about 6 months earlier, called me a thief and just completely berated me for a good 20 minutes on the phone instead of giving me the total so I could pull the cash to pay him. I just can't recommend this guy. I don't know how he got the high reviews.

Customers literally wait and watch as their automobiles are taken into the shop, hoods lifted, raised on lifts, tires removed, etc. once the vehicle is placed, the technician seems to disappear and move on to another ticket or task, on another vehicle. Seems they would just finish the assigned ticket, get the vehicle out and move to the next. If there were any other auto service centers that accept Enterprise Fleet Management Cards, I'd go there instead. Rest assured I will check for others and post it. This is ridiculous!
