I came here a few years ago after I found Brittany on IG. I was hesitant because I've never had anyone else do my hair but my sister. Brittany was so welcoming, professional and amazing at her craft. The salon itself was OK, the atmosphere was decent, it could be cleaner and look a little nicer but Brittany made my experience the best for what she had to work with. Fast forward to her leaving on maternity leave and I had found out she wasn't coming back to the salon - the owner/staff became very unprofessional about Brittany's whereabouts and because Brittany is the best SHES AT ROBYN MICHELLE SALON IN WINDEMERE for anyone who can't get ahold of her because of greedy and selfish people! Was there for 3.5 hours for a partial highlight and left with this mess. $160 and embarrassment later.... do not recommend 4 days later: the owner contacted me on the above and apologized for the mess and offered to fix it. I cut and colored my hair with Kelly and the cut came out really nice. The color came out terribly. I have a chunk under all my hair that is bleach blonde, not blending at all with the rest of my balayage. The front pieces has a few spotty pieces that just aren't blended well. I can't wear my hair in a ponytail without the very bleach blonde part showing. It looks uneven. I'm giving this two stars because though I liked the cut, the color was off. I paid $210 for the services only $55 of which was for the cut and style. Everything else for the color I also tipped $40 so it was expensive but the color was not what I was hoping for. read more

I absolutely love Ashley's professionalism. She did a fantastic job on highlighting, coloring, cutting, and perfectly blending my thin hair and my extensions. Blending is sometimes the hardest part for some stylists and she did an amazing job. She's a fabulous person and easy to talk to - the time flies by which is nice considering I'm in her chair for 2-5 hours. I'm so grateful I found Ashley. I recently moved to Orlando and I did tons of research trying to find my ideal stylist - Ashley is the one!  She has many years of experience with blonde hair and it shows. Terrible color and cut I went to this salon a few months ago and put off writing a review to see how my hair grew out. Terrible. I was a new customer and went to see OJ and showed her a number of pictures of cuts and color/highlights I liked. They were all pretty similar so I asked her to give me something like what I showed. Even before I left the salon I knew I hated it. It wasn't until I got home and started looking at it up close that I realized how technically bad it truly was. The cut was awful, didn't blend in layers, looked like I had a bi-level cut, chunks were missing up close to my face. Worse than that was the color job. There were BLOBS of color in my hair. You could see where it looked like she just dropped color on my head. There was also a vertical line of where the highlights ended right next to my face...it was awful. I went the next business day and spoke with the owner, and she tried to fix it the best she could. It was so bad she even called another stylist over to look at it 'in case there was an issue' when she spoke with OJ about it. I'm still waiting for it to grow out. It's going to take a year to fix their mistakes. AND, I paid $228 for this mess. Save your money and hair, go somewhere else. read more

I have a difficult time writing this because I've really enjoyed getting my hair cut here. Ashley does a wonderful job, and has a bubbly personality that makes the whole experience enjoyable. However, I have been so disappointed and disheartened by the salon's behavior during covid. As I write this, we just surpassed 250,000 deaths, and Florida has been an epicenter all summer, fall, and winter. When I went to the salon during summer, all staff was wearing mask or shields (albeit things felt pretty relaxed without much distancing, masks below nose or taken off during cuts). However, I returned this Tuesday and was stunned to see a lack of precautions taken. The front desk lady, the salon owner, and most other staff members wore no mask at all. No social distancing was taking place and the salon was full. And the couple staff members who were wearing some type of equipment had strange, tiny mouth shield things that did little to protect themselves or their guests. I would have immediately walked out, but seeing as we're all still getting used to seeing people with masks on, it totally didn't dawn on me until I was in my chair getting my hair cut. In a county where a mask mandate remains, the behavior of this salon owner is just so disappointing. She and her staff are putting members of the community at risk when we are seeing exceptional spikes in COVID cases here in Central Florida. This cavalier and irresponsible behavior has resulted in one less client. Shame on them. read more
