The decor is beautiful and fits the Venetian theme really well, and they play really calm music that makes the whole experience feel relaxing. I'm usually super indecisive when it comes to picking nail colors, but they were really helpful. I showed them what I was thinking, and they even did a sample on a fake nail first so I could see how the color would look with chrome on it, which I really appreciated. The prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to, but honestly I think it's worth it for the atmosphere and service. The salon is beautiful, clean, and well decorated, but I left feeling that the service didn't match the premium prices. My manicure and pedicure felt rushed, I was repeatedly encouraged to upgrade services, and I believe I was charged for gel on my toes even though I specifically requested regular polish. I also wasn't given an itemized receipt, which made it difficult to verify the charges. By the end, I felt uncomfortable and pressured about tipping. When I wasn't able to, I noticed a very off putting glare from the technician who was upset about not receiving her tip although she had overcharged me TWICE. I felt robbed blind. I am not obligated to tip and if I do it's based on the service I received. She should've been grateful I didn't call out or ask questions about her giving me gel although I didn't ask for it. she didn't accept my answer when I asked for BASIC pedicure. She took advantage of the fact that she thought I was busy on my phone and not paying attention. I have had better and more precise acrylic sets at other locations. The lady who worked on my hands didn't even let me wash the dust off my hands before applying cuticle oil which was a mess. Not allowing me to view or dispute the charges felt like shady business practice. Unprofessional customer service from a staff who prejudges their customers who might not be from the area. I've been getting my nails done at Venetian Nails for the better part of the past three years, and I usually request Tina. Fair warning, I DO NOT typically do anything fancy and more often enjoy the pedicure more than my manicure. SERVICE (5/5): Tina takes her time and makes sure that each service is done properly. There was a time where I nicked the gel manicure while it was curing, and Tina took the opportunity to redo the impacted nail. They have different levels of spa pedicures - starting with the basic and working your way up with all the bells and whistles (paraffin and hot stones). I've always been impressed with their color selection. AMBIANCE (5/5): The salon itself is nice and clean. I haven't had any issues other Yelpers have commented on. They usually have HGTV or Food Network on, and it isn't usually loud. Pricing is on par with other salons in the area. The woman i had didn't bother making all my toes a consistent length, and she only did two coats instead of three - i could obviously see my nature nail color peeping through. None of my nails are the name length, the shape is super odd / off, and when i gave my colors to the lady she kept insisting the numbers i was giving her were from another salon...why would i do that?? ($58) The Volcano Spa Pedicure included an exfoliating sugar scrub, collagen cream mask, collagen lotion massage and lavender hot stone massage. Been to this location a few times before, and I always liked the service. Today I had Vivian do my manicure and I hate it. I wanted to add some length and do dip with a simple design. I told her I did not want my nails too long, however she refused to cut them down more and insisted they would be shorter after she shaped and filed them. They were not. On my left hand, my thumb nail is super crooked to one side. Then I showed her the design I wanted, she said "oh I've done this many times" which I was happy about bc it's super simple so I was sure it was going to look good. Wrong again. Worst gel manicure I've ever had while also being one of the more expensive ones. I had to ask them to redo my left hand because it was covered in a ton of bumps, then they didn't put a top coat on my thumb which I didn't notice until I had left. My right hand didn't have polish applied smoothly so there was a dip halfway on the nail rather than an even coat. My pedicure wasn't much better, you could see the polish was very uneven. For my sister's manicure, they said they were able to do a design (a heart) on the thumb that they executed very poorly. I ended up going to another salon to fix my manicure, definitely won't be coming back here again. read more

First off, the decor is incredible! The chandeliers, waterfall, Venetian statues and artwork- wow! Pedicure chairs are situated in sets of 6 and can be blocked off for semi private events like a bridal party or girls spa day! Feels like you're in a world class spa in a grand hotel! I was greeted promptly and offered a beverage. My usual is the SNS dip powder. They have so many selections to choose from! The spa manager Tammy provided my service. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. She made it very clear that her clients are her priority! The spa is very clean and sterile- I did not get the pedicure but I did see someone getting one done. The massage chairs are brand new and they have liners in the foot tubs so I'm definitely planning to get a pedicure service next time. I can't wait to go back! This is my new go to salon in the area. This was my first time trying this nail salon . I was excited because the place was nice and clean. I got a pedicure and my nails done with dip powder. My toes are so pretty and the woman that did it done a great job, but my nails are mediocre. They're lumpy and poorly done. I had my nails done for only 2 weeks and 2 of my nails broke in half causing my fingers to bleed. ( No I was not doing anything serious I was scratching my head then one nail broke then I was putting lotions on and the other broke ). To pay $117 and to have my nails breaking and causing pain is ridiculous. I'm never going to this salon again. I recommend you not go either unless you're just getting a pedicure. read more

We've been getting our nails done here for almost a year and never had any major issues, maybe a nick or small polish issue, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. After this weeks experience we won't be back. My younger daughter and I didn't have any issues with our services (full set acrylics & tips with dip polish) but my older daughter was injured while receiving her service (full set acrylic). While using the electronic file to remove previous gel polish, Linda went too deep and actually injured one of her nails. My daughter pulled away multiple times and Linda didn't listen when she told her that it hurt. She continued with the file and my daughter bled around her entire cuticle area and underneath the center of her nail. By the time I realized what was happening, her polish was applied and placed under the dryer. My daughter told me what happened toward the end of her service and Linda said that some people have a bad reaction to acrylics. My daughter has had acrylics before with no issues and it was only one nail that was affected. It's not the acrylic but Linda going too deep with the electric file. After we left and my daughter told me everything that happened I called the salon asking to speak with a manager. The person (not the manager/owner) I spoke with was more concerned if the nail art was okay instead of being concerned that my daughter was injured. I left my name and number for the manager and still have not received a call to discuss our experience. My daughter was in extreme pain so we went to pharmacy and the pharmacist recommended burn spray and pain meds. The burn spray seems to have helped after a couple days but there may be more damage underneath that we can't see yet. Because she got black gel polish I cannot see what's going on under the nail and don't want to injure her further by trying to remove. They have signs posted throughout the salon that state the cost of beauty shouldn't be pain but my daughter felt pain, stated she was hurt, and was bleeding. This isn't Botox or injectables~it's Nails. That is not okay. read more

Then they say they're too busy to have another tech wrap my nails so I don't have to wait even LONGER when she finally gets to me and one of them literally sits at the station I'm waiting at and plays on his phone. This place is run by a bunch of unorganized, unprofessional idiots. Why even take my phone number if you're not going to call me and tell me my tech is running late? I live 5 minutes away so now I'm sitting here for 30 minutes waiting. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I didn't like my tech I would never come back here. Every time I come here it seems to be hit or miss, this is definitely a miss. I hadn't done dip in a while so I figured why not give it a shot. My nails look average. They're a bit dull, my fingers are covered in blue, a majority of my nails are sticking to the tips of my fingers and I'm bleeding on both hands. When she (May) went to remove the adhesive from my fingers she DUG her nails into me. I tensed up and winced from the pain. I'm not one to complain... I'm normally quite passive. It is a comfortable atmosphere amid this COVID19 Distancing . The pedicure areas are off to the sides, allowing space and you don't have people walking in front of you as in other salons. I've gone here a couple times mostly for pedicures. And every pedicure I've had has been amazing. I went to get my nails done by Badder. I think that was his name? I got the nail dip. He did a great job at filing and shaping my nails. But that was it. He did an awful job at smoothing out my nails, as they were bumpy as I left. And I've had three nails completely break on me. During the service he was also very sloppy. And just threw things around the table. Like the foils from soaking my nails, instead of throwing them out when he was done using them, he pushed them to the side of the table. It just didn't feel sanitary. Definitely wouldn't recommend getting any Service by him. But the salon and everyone else who works there are absolutely amazing. So I will definitely be back I will just request to have a service from someone other than him. read more

I have gone here many times because it is not far from where I work. Today I went there just to get a normal manicure. I usually get gel or sns but this time I just went for regular polish. My nails turned out terrible and they filed my cuticles completely raw. The nails are not only bumpy and see through but they are terribly filed with zero shape and are very uneven. My hands have been in pain all day. I cannot believe I paid to leave with my bails looking worse than when i walked in.
