This might have the most beautiful seitting in the sonoita / Elgin area for wine tastings. The place is gorgeous with breathtaking views and the pond they have with a gazebo is awesome and sets the mood perfectly to just relax and enjoy your time and wine there. We went recently after they opened and were blown away, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and funny also. Now the wines were great some of the best rosė's I've tasted and great flavorful reds. Our time there was fun and this place won us over, its a great addition to the wonderful elgin/sonoita wine area. read more

Granted we came on an off season and an hour ish before closing...but we will definitely be coming back when it's warmer and nicer out. The tasting is not at all expensive and for a whopping $15 you get a glass and 5 tries of their wines. It's unfortunate we were looking to order some snacks but they have prepackaged cheese in their fridge (not what we were looking for). But the guy was super helpful letting us know that it's so nice in the spring. There is a pond that would be nice to hang around with a family picnic. He did explain that it's dog friendly as long as they are on a leash. So we'll come back with the pooches to relax and have fun. The whole road has wineries around and it was such a gem to find not too far from SV. The cactus wren was sweet and good and we also got the estate red (the bold one). Can't go wrong with either. read more

360 degrees of pristine beauty. Nestled within the backdrop of a National Geographic photo shoot, this vineyard has it ALL...immaculate grounds- including tons of spaced and comfortable tables and seating, game area with horse shoe pit and cornhole, a peaceful pond, and lovely elegant tasting room. This vineyard will satisfy all of your senses most importantly taste with their delicious wines (my favorites were the Sagrantino, Albariño, and Dornfelder... who am I kidding I loved them all). A great food truck selection has been available on the weekends. The periodic live music events have added to an atmosphere I didn't think could get any better, I highly recommend Sophia Rankin, though all acts have been fantastic. Lastly the owners are absolutely incredible and lovely people- happy to share their story and educate vineyard goers about the making of their palate tantalizing wines. Short easy drive from Tucson, and a great day trip, we'll be back!! 10/10 you should go- your senses will all thank you, mostly those taste buds. This was my first time here cause they always seem to be closed whenever I went out to wine country. The grounds are beautiful, so instead of a tasting we opted for a glass of wine so we could sit outside and enjoy the weather and area. The wine was just okay, tasted pretty standard. They had a live singer there, which felt like karaoke because it was just music from a speaker and this guy singing away. Don't know that I would go out of my way to come back, sorry to say. read more

GORGEOUS! One of the prettiest wineries in Southern Arizona. Loved the live music. We had no idea where the bathrooms were so in the future I hope they improve their signage. Also, a water container outside would be awesome as AZ is hot, even this late in the year. Bring your own cooler with snacks and waters. Bring your wine glasses if you don't want to pay the fee per glass at all of the wineries down here. This winery was also dog-friendly if your dog is well-behaved. My family had the best time seeing the new places down there this year. read more

We really enjoyed our time at Autumn Sage Vineyards. Unfortunately, it was too cold and windy to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating options. We tried five of their red wines and especially enjoyed the cabernet sauvignon. The server was very friendly and helpful and the tasting room was comfortable. A beautiful vineyard with some fantastic dry wines! Their estate Sagrantino is my current favorite. The owners and staff are so welcoming and make this a great, relaxing experience. Staff was super amazing. We had our dog and we were very prepared to sit on the patio. They welcomed us and wanted us to bring her inside ( I think they just wanted to play with her because she got lots of attention). Autumn Sage Vineyards is undoubtedly my favorite winery in the Sonoita/Elgin area. They recently built and opened their tasting room, which provides ample indoor and outdoor seating for guests. Autumn Sage provides a breathtaking landscape for relaxing tasting experiences and beautiful photo opportunities. During our most recent visit in June 2020, we were blown away by the amount of Monarch butterflies living near the pond and gazebo area. We were able to capture several pictures of them (added to this post). Autumn Sage also provides the best selection and quality of wines, regardless of your taste and preference. I purchased a full bottle of my favorite because it was, by far, the best wine I had tasted all day! Additionally, their employees are always so kind and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain and recommend wines according to our preferences. Having visited all the wineries in the area, I can say that Autumn Sage is the best - their quality wines, customer service, and ambiance remain unmatched. Not going to make it to a vintage Napa Valley adventure this year, and want a full experience - Autumn Sage is here for you to taste and tour. Tastings are conducted through Thursday-Sunday 11am-5pm, and the service is superb. The wines invoke all 5-senses and are so aromatic. Smell, sip and swirl, and listen to some great live tunes on the weekends, play cornhole or just take in the scenery. My favorite is the Sangiovese, the fresh aromatic flavours is just as great as any red wine. We just love this place. read more
