I've given this restaurant a few chances over the years (about three visits), hoping it would improve, but unfortunately this was my last time.
We originally came for breakfast on a Saturday around 1 p.m., only to find out they don't serve it that late. Fair enough, but it was disappointing since that's what we came for.
Our server, Joanne, forgot our drinks twice, and the service felt inattentive throughout the meal.
The only thing I actually enjoyed was the creamy vegetable soup. After that, everything went downhill. The calamari tasted like it had been cooked earlier and reheated. It wasn't crispy or fresh, and the dipping sauces didn't help.
We also shared the club sandwich, and the chicken tasted like canned chicken rather than freshly cooked chicken. It wasn't something either of us wanted to finish. Looking around the dining room, I also noticed a pizza served to another table that looked very pale and undercooked, which didn't leave a great impression.
This wasn't my first disappointing visit, and after giving this place multiple chances over the years, I've decided I won't be returning. I really miss Ohana, which used to be my go-to in the area.
Overall, aside from the soup, this was a disappointing meal with forgettable service and food that didn't feel fresh. read more
