I had heard horror stories of how much it could cost for mold remediation but I was relieved when they gave me their price quote. I had this company install a centra HVAC system and 2 mini splits. They did real well at first but then it turned into...we have someone else that needs us more so we are not coming out today, all of the sudden I was at the bottom of the list and it was 2 weeks later before they got back to me. Then it was...we are going to arive much later today than we scheduled because the guy who has the truck called in sick and all out stuff is in the truck. When you work and you have to take off to allow these types of services to occur in your home you count on them coming on the day and time agreed upon. This company is not super reliable in this respect. Now here the real cincher that I want you to be sure and consider before you hire this company. One of my two mini splits was leaking from the channeling running down the side of my house. I called and two times I was told they'd swing by and look at it. No one came. So I called again and when the crew member came I was working so my daughter let them in. They said they poured water into the tubing and it came out the other end of the tubing and NOT out the area that I saw it leaking from every day since the install. It never came out the tubing like it was supposed to but they swore it was. I waited all summer long for them to finally do what they said they would do. Then it was too cold to address the issue. A representative called - fishing for me to give them a good review - and I told her how unhappy I was, so they scheduled a time months out because I had to wait for it to warm up enough for the issue to be addressed. This time they took the channeling off and lo and behold the connector between two splices of hose had come disconnected and there was also a crimped place that had turned into a slit in the hoseline. So you tell me... how did water come out of the end of the hose when that crew member (Nathan) said he checked it and it came out like nothing was wrong. So he was not truthful. There was no way the water/condensation was discharging from the end of the hoseline because it was not a continuous line that had become disconnected AND it had a big slit in the hose. Just disappointing. I felt like, as a single woman, I was being taken advantage of and not receiving the level of service that I would have received if I were a man. Having said all this I will say that when Angle - a crew member- came out this last Monday 3-7-2025, (Yes I had to take off work, but he came and was on time.) It was a full 10 months after the install, he did what should have been done 10 months prior when I made them aware of my issue in the first place. Now my mini split is no longer leaking condensation, running down the side of my house. All is well - it just took lots of false starts, phone calls, time, aggravation, frustration and visits to get it right.

Today, with heat indexes over 100° the air conditioning started to fail. By midnight it was gone, and the temperature in the house was quickly rising. I have MS and the heat for me is devastating. Bob Morris, after hearing about the problem, came right out to check on it in the middle of the night. It turned out our compressor had gone bad. Rather then leave me suffering overnight, Bob went back to the shop, a good half hour drive away, and got a portable air conditioner we could use. He made arrangements to return first thing in the morning with the new unit so I wouldn't be sick. All this for warranty service with no profit. I bless the day that we chose Morris Heating and Air Conditioning. With this level of service, professionalism, and attention to their customers' needs, we will never go anywhere else.

The Grayco experience!!…read more Friday 11/8/2024 we had 3 appointments scheduled for furnace and boiler services. The first appointment was schedule for our home at 8:30 am (no window was provided). The second appointment was scheduled for between 9am -11am for rental 1, and the last appointment was scheduled for 11am to 12 at rental 2. Michael the technician and I believe part owner arrived at our home around 9:10am. Performed the service, provided information on the systems and was very professional and enjoyable to talk with. As Michael and his assistant prepared to head to rental 1, he informed my wife and I that he would be servicing rental 1, then heading to another service call then he would plan to meet us at rental 2 with the boiler technician. He stated that we would likely be closer to 11:30 due to a service call he had between rental 1 and 2 and that the boiler technician was servicing a boiler out of town. 10:58 am, I receive a call from Julie, rudely asking if anyone was planning to meet the technician at rental 2. I explained to her that we were informed by Michael that it would likely be closer to 11:30. She rudely replied," I told your wife that the technician would be there at 11". I told her that I understood but 11 was not the last time communicated to us. I asked if the technician was there and told Julie that I could be there in 10 minutes, she replied yes. I left the house immediately, at 11:06 I get a voicemail that the boiler technician had other appointments and could not wait. I arrived at rental 2 at 11:09 to find the technician had indeed left. Spoke with Julie as to why they were unable to wait 10 minutes. I was told that their technicians don't wait and that he had other appointments. But the window was from 11-12? My issues: * This was not the first time we'd been met with rudeness from Julie but our experience with Michael and the service had always been positive which is why we continued to use Grayco. They knew that the boiler was not working and that we had tenants in the home without heat. This put us in a position to have to scramble to find someone for service mid-day on a Friday. Thankfully, Summers was able to send out a technician to assist us. They even sent a message saying that they were on their way even though we had a scheduled time to meet. * We waited for 40 minutes for service at our home, yet they couldn't wait 10 minutes for us to arrive at rental 2. Apparently, their time is more important than everyone else's time. * Oddly, we received an invoice for service at rental 2. * We've purchased 2 HVAC systems from them and had them out on multiple service calls for other properties. I find it extremely disappointing that they couldn't wait 10 minutes for a repeat customer for a service window scheduled between 11 - 12. Needless to say, we will no longer be utilizing their services!!
