The HVAC guy from Danco was rude during the inspection, which was expected, from neighbor feedback. But 20 days after closing, when the air was turned on and did not work, I contacted Dan and he laughed. He reminded me that my check cashed and this was my problem. He did not offer to work with me in any way or offer any feedback besides, things happen and it was not his problem. I would highly recommend against Danco HVAC, as he is only interested cashing a check.

You might think that it would be expensive, but the contract is the cost of an annual maintenance service call. For that, I get annual maintenance, no cost parts on repairs, and priority service. Company SHOULD refund labor costs - definitely did NOT assist in making an informed decision but rather filling their pockets. Avoid this company unless you want to throw away your money. He fixed the problem, patiently waited with me to make sure the problem was fully fixed, and even showed me where to go on Ameren to get discounts on certain things should I need them in the future. Very friendly and professional and got the problem fixed for a very good cost! My issue was in trying to book him. I had done some research and found the problem I was experiencing was likely due to my thermostat. So I messaged them asking if if they were able to fix thermostats and left them my number to text me. I got a text saying that it would need to be replaced, not fixed. I said that was fine and proceeded to ask them to come out. I told them I was available everyday after 3:15 as I am a teacher and can't leave class early to get home and let them in. They said They were open from 2:00 to 5:00 and couldn't promise they wouldn't come at 2:00. This baffled me. I told them I couldn't come home early. Wouldn't you just send your worker to take a long lunch or run errands for the company if you had to wait like that? Seemed very odd and made it feel like whoever was in charge of booking appointments didn't care about my schedule.

I was cool about it and excepted the second appointment, that was probably my biggest mistake she claim the technician had to come at 7:30 AM because I would be the first appointment of the day on that morning when the technician couldn't find his way to my house they sent him to another appointment and screwed me over completely!! They protected my floors and white fireplace from dust and debris. There was 4" of gunk up in my fireplace chimney that he cleaned out. He also put the camera up to see if the chimney was healthy and made recommendations as well as sending me quotes for those options. Overall, his visit today was reasonably priced and I think the work was very thorough. They did say they don't normally come this far to my small town but I'm glad they did because I would recommend them again.
