Avalanche Glass just installed 8 replacement window in our home, just in time to keep the cold winter out and the house snuggly warm! We had another, well-known, high-end company install 7 replacement windows last year. It took us a whole year to pay them off. Avalanche had very similarly rated, locally warranted window for 1/4 the cost! They are beautiful and there is no outstanding bill over our heads! I would highly recommend them! Brought my car in for a rock chip repair. Office did not know how to file claim with Safeco Insurance and I ended up spending over 30 minutes on phone with 3rd party vender and my insurance agent. Agent laughed at the issues I was going thru and thought glass company not doing their job professionally. After winshield was supposedly repaired at shop and the owner and helper had left I got to my car and could see the star chip was still totally visible like nothing had been done! The office person said some times the still show after repair. I've had several winshield repairs and never heard of that issue. Called my insurance agent back and told him the issue and he said that was a very poor job and would make a note of this company in their file. Will not use them again. I will say they seem like very nice folks and said if rock chip expanded they would replace the winshield at no cost. read more

Had a nasty little neighbor kid break a window in my kitchen. I had to BEG the other glass place in Emmett to give me an estimate, and when I did get it, it was crazy extreme. Called Avalanche, had an estimate the next day and a new window in a week. Half the cost of the "other guy". My only complaint was I had to call to get the install scheduled. To me, they should have called ME when my window was in, not waited for the customer to call them. However, the price made up for the poor customer service. Will use them again. read more
