We had Wood Windows Inc. replace all the windows in our home at a cost of almost $20,000. After speaking with our sales person he suggested we replace our windows with Anderson A100 series windows. He told us all about the fibrex material and how awesome it was and durable which after some research I had to agree. He then suggested we think about a black exterior frame. I told him I was not sure about black I was worried about fading and cracking over time. I was assured that the windows warranty would cover it and that they were guaranteed not to do just that. The windows went in and they looked beautiful they immediately reduced our utility bills. The installers were on time and did a good job. We did have one window leak about a month after it was installed but due to the windows location and where the siding fell it was understandable and they came out and repaired it immediately. Fast forward a little over a year and I was outside getting ready to put a coat of paint onto the trim they put around the windows (you could see the nail heads in the trim something I noticed but was not high on the fix it list). As I was getting ready to paint I noticed cracks in the frames just superficial but definitely cracks. I took pictures and sent them to my sales person he immediately responded and said he would put a ticket in with Andersen to have them come look at them and verify the warranty claim. Well that is when it all turned south. The gentleman from Andersen is not a nice person in my opinion. He is rude and short with you on the phone. He tends to speak to you like you are child that needs to be scolded. He informs me that based on the pictures he has seen this is a problem with a cleaning agent I have used on my windows to make them look nice or something a painter used to clean the tape off the window after I had them professionally painted (thanks for the compliment but I painted the trim myself) but He was still going to come by and "take a look". Well the day comes when we are graced by his presence unfortunately I was out of town. Well they proceeded to look at my windows both the gentleman from Andersen and a rep from Wood Windows Inc. This is the part where it gets interesting I have video cameras on my house that record not only video but audio. Still have video/audio if any party is interested in viewing it. They walk around the house and proceeded to stand in my driveway where the gentleman from Andersen tells the gentleman from Wood Windows Inc this is a know problem and I (homeowner) was screwed they have lab testing showing that cleaning agents caused cracking like this and that is what they would be telling me. He proceeded to tell the gentleman from wood windows he would give me a few days before he called me back so I got the impression he really tried. Then he would "slow walk" me to the conclusion I had cleaned the windows with an unapproved cleaner and this was my fault and there was nothing I could do about it. I listened to the video in the time I waited for him to call back let's just say he got a little upset with me on the phone about listening into his conversation. He proceeds to yell at me on the phone and tell me it was my fault the window frames cracked. I told him I had never cleaned the windows the only time they were cleaned was by the professional cleaner that Wood Windows hired to come out and clean them at the end of the install. He said I had no way of proving that and unfortunately he is right. I will never win that argument. However I was never given any cleaning instructions before or after my install. There were no stickers on the windows that said to visit there website for a list of approved cleaners (only place they are listed and are not easy to find unless you know exactly what to look for). My problem with Wood Windows is that the owner told my sales person this is my fight alone with manufacturer and he was to stay out of it period end of sentence. That is just sad to me. If you purchase windows from Wood Windows Inc do not expect their leadship to have your back. read more

We live in the North End historic district, so needed real wood windows as replacement in 2023. With few options, and having a good experience with them installing a door for me in 2020 at my other house, my husband and I decided to use them. I do NOT recommend using them. We paid ~$30k for all but one window to be replaced. Our wait was several months which was expected. Their foreman, Dustin, was very, very friendly but incompetent. They ordered one wrong window which was far from matching the others, the windows were scratched up, the trim they installed was shoddy, and they removed the one window that didn't need replacement. One of our main windows in the kitchen was very difficult to open, and I'm a strong person. They initially tried to convince me it would 'settle' but never did. They replaced it eventually and it still is really hard to open. I've told numerous people to avoid Wood Windows. They used to be quality but something happened with quality and service over the years....for the worse. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY We did a lot of research to get Andersen Windows. After 6 quotes and what we thought was a thorough review we trusted Wood Windows Inc. A big mistake. We gave them 50% of money up front, now they are now paid in full including an extra $500 because they threatened to put a Lien on our property and we are still waiting for completion. I kept telling them we wanted closure. We only held back less than 10%! They could have called, no, they just had their lawyer send a letter. It's just a little piece now, but still not complete. Perhaps they can't get support from Andersen because they owe them money? I do not know their circumstances? Our windows look great, they do not block the sun like we expected. The finish guy was excellent. However all we heard after was excuses from their sales and service managers and that we owed them final payment because the contract said due upon substantial completion. We were told several "untrue" statements throughout the process. None by any one of apparent authority? Our mistake? Yes! Please choose carefully and remember, "you can catch a thief but you can't catch a liar". Get everything in writing. We're 13 months into this nightmare and no communication except from through their lawyer? And not complete! Sad but true. STAY AWAY! read more

READ ENTIRE REVIEW BEFORE CONCIDERING Wood Windows!! Wood Windows Inc. is a company that I would NOT recommend to anyone based on my experience with them. The installation process of all of the doors and windows that I purchased from them took an excessive amount of time, from January 2021 to January 2022, due to multiple errors made by Wood Windows employees and its affiliates. The installation process was filled with mistakes and issues. The windows were not properly trimmed on the exterior, the laundry room door was installed backwards, the front door was not what I ordered and resulted in 4+ installations and corrections, the hardware was not what we chose and had to be replaced due to all the damages, the interior trim was cut 1/2" short BUT still installed, the garage door was damaged because it hit the frame and still rubs on the hinge side of the frame. I was told that the windows would not require an exterior trim but was informed otherwise after the windows were partially installed. The agreement was changed multiple times with no documentation revisions, and the hardware on all three doors was damaged during the installation process. I had to open my home multiple times for Wood Windows to complete the work or correct their mistakes, which was inconvenient and excessive. I was living in the house the entire time and had to deal with the issues and inconvenience caused by Wood Windows' poor installation process. I had previously replaced all the windows and doors in my previous home and never had to have the installer come back for adjustments or corrections, but my experience with Wood Windows has been completely different. The windows that they installed have already been adjusted twice, and one window still does not open, which is unacceptable. When Wood Windows sent the final invoice we requested all the corrections be made prior to final payment. Michael did not respond for two full weeks then threatened to get lawyers involved if we didn't pay, we requested a discount due to excessive issues, damages, and the drawn out installation, and we were contacted by Wood Windows lawyer. We settled for a minute discount. We would not recommend Wood Windows for any installation and will tell anyone to stay clear. read more

All our Windows (with Andersen windows) were replaced in 2016 at a significant cost.. We completely gutted & remodeled our large master suite, reconfiguring & replacing its 4 windows in 2022. To our horror & disgust we found not one of those 4 windows installed in 2016 had any insulation put in around them at all !!! We have pictures. We checked another bedroom window, same problem no insulation! Most likely the whole house has this issue which would entail removing all the interior mouldings involving repair & repaint at significant expense. Do NOT waste your money by using this company for any work. read more

Horrible service and professionalism. My parents who are in their 70s, started the process with with Jen, to replace some of there windows in Nampa home. They came out and measured the windows, then showed up to install them and they were 10 inches too big. Then the came back out with the correct size windows, but the etched beveled grid pattern does match. No accountability, no apologies for wasting my parents time. The door is beautiful and works well. The window works wonderfully well, and is handsome, though the glass to frame ratio is a little smaller than I had expected. The two together really transform our bedroom, so I couldn't be more pleased with that. Also terrific was the crew. They were kind and efficient and easy to have in my house. The only negative was the amount of finish work there turned out to be. The wallboard they replaced was thinner than the original wallboard, and it was a bear to get even with tape, mud and sanding sanding sanding. Using thicker wallboard, or shimming out the stuff they did use would have made that part of my job considerably easier. Also, be advised that when they say the owner is responsible for all of the interior finish work, you want to ask some questions. I didn't realize that I'd have to tape mud and sand wallboard, or that the molding would be un-primed. Had I thought that part through, I would have asked for the molding in advance so I could prime and second coat it before it was up. Having said all of that, I'd have these folks work for me again in a heartbeat. The Anderson product is really great, and they are professional and courteous. read more

Ugh! Where do I start, they ordered the wrong windows TWICE and made me pay for the shipping and restocking! Installers took forever and made a mess at my home and didn't clean up after....Customer service is nice but TOTALLY not worth the aggravation. Avoid this place, go to Champion, they were awesome the last time we used them, I'm kicking myself for not going back to them. read more

I just dropped $10k with these guys and it was absolutely worth it. They just finished installing everything today. The customer service is crazy-good, they gave me a detailed quote that even showed the measurements of all the windows (Home Depot wouldn't even give me an estimate in writing). there were no surprises, what they said they were going to do they did, and shockingly they were cheaper than the other 2 companies I got quotes from. An added bonus, now that they are done installing they are sending a window washing company to clean all the newly install windows. I'm glad that I will only have to have new windows done once while we live here, but if we had to do them again I would hands down go with Wood Windows. read more
