If I could give zero stars, I would. Truly the WORST experience I've ever had with a business. I ordered a board for my daughter for Christmas back in November 2025. They sent the wrong board. I sent the board BACK to them. They have claimed to have sent me the correct board, but it is now March 2026 and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE BOARD I ORDERED. It has been OVER 4 MONTHS since my original purchase, I'm out over $200, my daughter still doesn't have her Christmas gift & they will not refund my money or send me the correct board. Terrible customer service & whoever responds to emails is the most unprofessional individual. They could not care any less about whether or not I get my board or my money back. 100000% fraud. We have ordered online from this shop (shipping on one order, picked up locally on another) and also a 3rd order from their eBay storefront and each time has gone perfectly. Living an hours drive south and not realizing that this shop was close, I found the limited edition Landyachtz longboard I had been searching for on eBay and placed my order; it arrived the next day. I placed a second order on their website, with shipping, for trucks and wheels I needed for my older deck, and this order also delivered the next day. For The 3rd order, I ordered another complete longboard, online, and opted to pick up in store as I needed to shop for roller skate wheels and they were the only shop locally, that had them. John was super helpful! He not only help my daughter with her skates but also help my husband with some side buys, he needed, too. Walking around the shop, I saw so much stock on hand (I May have been drooling, lol) and plenty of options for skate boarding/longboarding, biking, scooters, accessories and the various parts/gear that anyone might need. Very fair, competitive pricing On everything we have purchased. Plus, the furry mascot, who happily barked a happy hello as we entered, made us feel right at home. I leave this detailed review as shops like this are rare, in a world of big box stores, where employees lack Experience and education, unable to offer the hands on service that a Small shop like this can. Don't bother with skateusa.com. I ordered a new Primitive skate deck. After placing my offer, I never received an order confirmation. I emailed on their website and received a response with just a tracking number. When I received the item, it was packaged very oddly in a box that wasn't the right size with ups envelopes around the board. I opened it up and noticed 3 cuts I the top of the deck. I emailed them pictures and asked about returning or getting a discount if I kept this one. The guy responded that I already received a discount (10% off) for subscribing and could return it if I wasn't happy. Didn't want to do that because I would be out shipping costs. I would expect a buainess to the have better customer service and make things right if they provided an item that was damaged. read more

So I contacted my bank about 3 days later after the order hoping they can help cancel it. They took forever to do anything. Keep in mind I did this all within 3 days after placing order. I ended up receiving the item over a month later. I just received notice that the merchant is calling me a thief for not returning item. After reading the comments I'm happy I didn't make a purchase here. Be careful buying product from here. They have a big selection but a lot of their product is damaged and really old. This shop is selling the Reynolds 3 that will most likely have the sole separate from just walking. A shoe that's been sitting for 6 years will have brittle glue and fail since the glue will have no flexibility. Really disappointed with this company's customer service. I ordered a pair of skates from them, they arrived a little dusty, but otherwise okay. When trying them on and riding them about on the sidewalk for literally 5 minutes, I realized I ordered half a size too small. Tried emailing them several times over a week to request an exchange, finally got an answer on the 4th try. Had to find out that I needed to ship them back with tracking ($60 expense). Emailed them the tracking number, no response. Skates arrived, no response. Week later was told they would issue a refund with a restocking fee because they had been worn, ~20% of the value of the skate. I effectively paid $140 to try on a pair of skates. Great local skate shop! I needed a birthday gift for my son's friend who skates and "already has everything". The staff listened to what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. The guy was totally helpful with good ideas for the gift and he never pressured me. They helped me pick out cool and useful skateboard tools and accessories. I also got some colorful socks for my son. I'm looking forward to a long and frequent relationship with this shop. They took the time to help me pick out skate stickers to add to the box and they helped me wrap the gift. I will be back for sure. Hands down the worst experience with ordering online from any company. No communication from the company regarding my order after many failed attempts to reach them through email and phone. Once my order was finally shipped it was refunded for part of my order. No explanation to why it was refunded. I'm assuming they sold the board I ordered in the week it took them to pack the order. After reading others reviews on facebook I guess I got lucky with actually receiving a refund and part of my order almost two weeks after placing the order. BUYER BEWARE! Skates USA.com, formerly known as Avalanche Skate Shop. Currently using the address 24 Old Jupiter Beach, Jupiter, Florida 33477. I ordered a very expensive scooter from this outfit. Because it took 3 weeks to receive the scooter, I was forced to purchase something else for my son's birthday. I returned the scooter within 2 weeks unopened. Skates USA received the scooter on November 23 as verified by FedEx. Here I sit on Dec 5 with no refund and my emails and telephone calls continue to go unanswered. As of right now, if anyone is considering using this outfit for Christmas gifts, STAY AWAY. If I receive my full refund I will update this review to be fair to Skates USA. Update 12/15: Still waiting for my refund. Was told via email that my order would be inspected and processed by the end of last week. Still waiting.
