Lake Park Bicycles has always there to promptly diagnose the problem, explaining clearly what the issue was, and fixing his bike quickly. What impresses me most about Lake Park Bicycles is their patience, HONESTY, and genuine care for getting it right- not just getting it done. So happy I found Tony at Lake Park Bicycles. I had taken bike to On The Mark on US 1 nearby and they gave back with bent things where you put air in tire. And overcharged me. Tony helped me get bike out of trunk, straightened thing to put air, and put back in my trunk. All while I waited-done within 10 min. He didn't want to charge me but I was so appreciative of his old school customer service, I gave to him anyway. Will only be using Lake Park Bicycles from now on. read more

Tony and his entire team offer exceptional service. I went to look at e-bikes. They spent quite a bit of time helping me sort through the pros and cons of each style and brand and even let me test ride them. In the end I went with a Big Sur and have been super happy ever since. Roger and Tony are fantastic human beings, and pretty darn good at fixing bicycles as well in a consultative, and expedient manner. I have been there several time and the last time I was in there was due to some broken pedals. Roger was very attentive and asked good questions and recommended a set of pedals that were the best fit for my mom (not the most expensive). If you are in the area, I highly recommend them. They are good people who know a lot about bikes and treating people well. read more

Last spring I bought a used bike and it needed new seat and a bit of tuning up. Tony did a terrific job...yesterday I realized I do not know how to fill the tires (fancy stem) so I took it back to the shop. Tony quickly showed me how to use my pump on this stem and I was rolling again. The shop moved to this new location, easy access and parking. Looks like many new products in the shop...make this a first stop for your bike shopping needs. read more

Great bike shop! No wonder why they have been around over 50 years! I brought my bike in on a very busy day and was told it may take a few days . But let me take a look real quick for you. Dropped off a bike that been covered but outside. Both tires flat . Wanted bearings greased,cables lubed and sprockets surface cleaned off ,brakes adjusted. Was told $65. tuneup will do all that. After 5 days picked up the bike. Rear tire went flat before I got home,front sprockets just as rusty,brake cables still dry and corroded,frayed brake cable end still needed a feral,front derailleur doesn't shift sprockets at all. Aside from the chain seemly lubed it's the same condition I left it 5 days earlier. If I knew a $65. tuneup meant only a chain lube, a can of WD40 is only $4.00. No I did not say anything at the time I picked it up,why would I have to remind a business they have poor workmanship? I can do all that I asked but thought I would support a local shop,I won't make that mistake again. read more

You guys really went above and beyond- it didn't look like my poor old bike was going to make it, but you brought it back to life! I brought my old mountain bike in with a flat front tire and asked Tony if he could also give the bike a tune up as it had been sitting outside for quite some time. He had my bike up and running better than new in no time and was even able to bring my worn out gear shifter back to life (which is something that 2 other bike repair shops weren't able to do!) I really appreciated his willingness to take the time to explain my options and the work with me. It felt like doing business with an old friend. I'll definitely be back in the future. read more

My Trek bike had a bent wheel, broken spokes and definitely needed a tune-up. Now it is as good as new! Friendly service- done when promised- and at a really reasonable price. This is my all time favorite bike shop in town. I'm not exaggerating. It's the BEST not only in Palm Beach but in the state. Tony, the owner, has run the place for over 30 years. The shop is a local gem and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. My bike had a broken gear shifter and flat tire. Not only did he make all those repairs, he also threw in a few others. He has a passion for people and bikes and treats both excellently. Whether you're a novice, serious rider, looking to buy or fix a bike, or just want to rent this place has it all. Very friendly and helpful bicycle shop. Brought my old mountain bike in for a tune up from a recent move from California. Just took it out yesterday and it is running great (except for a pedal arm that fell off, and having to make a repair in the street, but not Lake Park's fault). Refreshed hydraulic brakes are working well. Recommendations for nearby bike trails also were helpful. I definitely recommend the service here. read more
